Arafa If one dreams of being on the Day of Arafa (part of the Muslim pilgrimage rites to commemorate the day on which God brought together Adam and Eve), one will (1) Resume his support to his parents and in-laws. Stairway Descending a staircase in a dream means arriving from a journey, resigning from one's job, impeachment, or it could represent a pedestrian. If one's descent leads him to his family, house, or farmland in the dream, it means money. If what he reaches at the end of the staircase is unknown, and if one meets people, or souls he does not recognize in the dream, it also denotes what we have earlier explained. If during one's climb or descent he falls into a well, or if a giant bird grabs him and flies away with him, or if a beast devours him, or if he steps into a boat that sails away as he steps into it, or if he takes a step to find himself riding an animal, or a vehicle of some type, the staircase then represents the stages of one's life and what he encountered during the journey of his life, all replayed or screened before his eyes at the point of descending into his grave, or as a book one reads after his death. If he does wake up and finds himself healthy and fit, it means that he will become a tyrant, an unjust person, an atheist and a reprobate. If one sees himself descending a staircase that leads him into a mosque, lush foliage, green fields, a fresh breeze of spring, or into a pond to take a ritual ablution to perform his prayers in the dream, it means that he will become a true believer, repent for his sins and abandon his blameworthy conduct. Otherwise, if he descends upon adverse elements such as snakes, lions, steep hills, corpses, or a field of scattered remains in a dream, then it represents major trials and adversities. Leprosy Leontiasis • Having leprosy leontiasis (the lion’s disease): (1) Endeavours will be foiled as the dreamer is arrogantly defying God. (2) The dreamer is the victim of false and ugly accusations, though innocent.
• Dreaming of the symptoms of leprosy, including mutilations and swelling in the body: (1) Will have money that will last. (2) Will inherit some clothes.

Stair • A sick or troubled person going down the staircase: (1) If he lands in a place he knows such as his house or on chopped straw or anything that alludes to the riches of this world: The dreamer will recover. (2) If he lands in an unknown place, in a well or a hole, or among dead people he knew or on a palanquin or a saddle of a travelling animal, et cetera, or on a ship that immediately sets sail, or in front of a ferocious lion that devours him or a bird that carries him away: The dreamer will die and the steps represent the days left in his life. Wadi A wadi in a dream also could represent a prison because of the steep mountains surrounding it and the difficulty in crossing it. Seeing oneself in a wadi floating in the air until one reaches a desired altitude in a dream means working for a powerful person. Garment If he thinks in his dream that he is a woman, then his humiliation will be greater. Receiving used garments but in a good condition as a gift in a dream means money, though if they are in bad condition, they mean trouble. Receiving an Unsheathed Sword if a person sees himself as receiving an unsheathed (naked) sword and he lifts it above his head but does not strike with it, it means he will wield such power as will make him popular; or he will father a very beautiful girl. Listening In a dream, listening to the Quran, or to the teachings of Allah's Prophet, Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam, or to words of wisdom, or to an admonition, or a discourse of knowledge in a dream means receiving guidance, and it means turning repentantly to Allah Almighty. Otherwise, if one sees himself listening to backbiting, slandering, defamation, or eavesdropping in a dream, then it means that some harm will befall him. Listening to good advice and following its best guidance in a dream means receiving good news. Eavesdropping in a dream means that one intends to defame the other person. Beard If one sees a young boy who has not reached the age of puberty having a beard in a dream, it means the child's death. If the child's beard is just starting to grow in the dream, it means that he will grow to lead and command people. If one's beard is shallow and if it makes him look fatuous in a dream, it means payment of one's debts or easing of his trouble or dispelling of his distress. If one's beard looks childish or completely immature in the dream, it means losing people's respect. If the color of one's beard is gold in the dream, it means that he will lose some respect and perhaps half of his wealth. Seeing one-half of one's beard shaved in a dream means poverty. Promise (Debt; Pledge) Making a promise in a dream means indebtedness to the second party. If one also fulfils his promise in the dream, it denotes his true intention, faith and certitude. Receiving a bad promise from one's enemy in a dream means good. A promise in a dream is a good deed. The recipient of the promise in wakefulness is the one who makes that pledge in the dream. Hump A hump in a dream represents a condition that will make one a celebrity, or it could represent a debt one is unable to pay. This is because one's back is the point that carries his burdens. Piss • Pissing sand or mud: The dreamer performs his ablutions neither properly nor regularly.

Owl An owl in a dream also represents a person without steadfastness or determination to do what is right. If an owl falls inside his house in a dream, it means news of someone's death. Snot According to Ibn Siren, the mucus from the nose symbolizes the making of children, in view of the popular belief that the cat emanated from the lion’s snot.
• Having mucus in the nose: Wife is pregnant.
• Blowing one’s nose: (1) Will settle debts. (2) Will be relieved from a certain worry. (3) Will punish some people for a certain deed.
• Putting snot on the ground: Will have a daughter.
• Putting snots on one’s wife: She will conceive a male child but have a miscarriage.
