Apples It symbolises a man's trade, his income as well as his courage. Hence, if a king sees himself eating it, it symbolises his kingdom. If a trader sees it, it symbolises his trade. Therefore, if a person sees himself as acquiring or eating one, it means he will acquire wealth proportionate to the freshness, taste and extent of the apple he has eaten : if it was sweet, the wealth will be excellent; if fresh, it will be of good quality; if little, he will acquire little; if a great deal, he will acquire it in abundance. Kawthar (Plenitude; Abundance; A river in paradise.) To drink from the Kawthar river of paradise in a dream means acquiring knowledge, developing correct deeds, having perfect certitude and truly emulating the leading practices and character of Allah's Messenger, Alayhi-Salam. Drinking from the Kawthar river in a dream also means repentance from sin, abandoning innovations, marriage to a chaste and a pious woman, replacing unlawful earnings with lawful ones, endowment of leadership and victory. Stair • A tyrant or an atheist going down to a good place such as a mosque, a beautiful garden, a fertile land, or a wash house: The dreamer will change for the better. If, on the contrary, he goes down to a precipice, a barren land, an atheist stronghold, or any place where abominations take place or where a fire is raging or a ferocious mammal or a reptile is lurking, it will be the dreamer’s doom. Spiritual gathering His condition will change from tightness to abundance. He will repay his debts and overcome his oppressors. If one sees a spiritual gathering where Allah's Name is glorified, the holy Quran is read and wisdom is spoken in his dream, it means that such a place will be established as a spiritual center or as a mosque. Such a place will also become a center where spiritual leaders and governors will gather and speak. Child birth • A man dreaming that a girl was born to him: Will contract a debt.
• A man dreaming that a bunch of children were born to him: He should expect the traditional worries that cannot be dissociated from the education of children.
• A pregnant woman dreaming that she has given birth to a male child: Will deliver a girl. And vice versa.
• A woman dreaming that she has delivered a boy: Will ultimately have joy, receive good tidings, and get rid of a heavy burden.

Bread • Eating bread without food: The dreamer will be sick without anybody looking after him and will die lonely.
• Eating bread with honey: Will seek knowledge and wisdom and be better off, because honey indicates good knowledge and bread comfortable living.
• Eating bread and salt: Contentment.
• Eating vinegar with bread: Long life.
• Eating thin (unleavened) bread: Contradictory interpretations like short life, few gains, and abundance.
• Unfinished bread: Strong fever, as this bread has to go back to the oven for completion.

Flesh • Eating one’s own flesh: Abundance and tremendous power are in store.
• Eating the flesh of a tortured person (crucified, hung, et cetera): Will obtain money from a wanted individual. It could also mean redemption and/or vengeance.
• Eating the flesh of one’s enemy: Will triumph over him.
• Eating the flesh of a dead person: Will speak ill of the dead, in view of a verse in the Holy Quran that says: “O ye who believe! Shun much suspicion; for lo! some suspicion is a sin. Tree • Planting a tree or sowing its seeds successfully: The dreamer’s prestige and honour will be enhanced, and he will bring up or train a man who will benefit him.

Sprout Eating cooked sprouts in a dream means benefits in every respect. If one sees himself in a dream exchanging quails and manna (See Manna) for green sprouts and garlic, it means that he will be subjugated to poverty and humiliation. Archangels Jibril (Gabriel) Seeing Jibril:
• Will embark on a journey to seek knowledge abroad and return successfully. In modern terms, will study and graduate from abroad.
• Will triumph over enemies.
• Will promote virtue and combat vice.
• Being hostile to Jibril or arguing with him: Will arouse God’s wrath and anger and concur with non-Muslims.
• Taking food from Jibril: Will deserve Paradise.
• Jibril looking sad and worried: Will encounter hardships and be punished, for Gabriel is not only the Archangel of Knowledge and Learning but of Chastisement as well.

Straw In a dream, straw represents richness, prosperity and a good harvest, for one who gathers straw ends and brings them home. Eating straw in a dream means poverty and hunger. Locking or placing straw in an unsuitable container such as safe or a dresser in a dream means depression and destruction of cattle feed. Straw in a dream represents charities. Abundance of straw in a dream also represent a community where the female count exceeds the number of men. Wheat straw in a dream means goodness and trustworthiness. Horse • Seeing a horse of either sex from a distance: Good augury, in view of a saying by the Holy Prophet that welfare accompanies horses till the Day of Resurrection.
• Driving a horse: The dreamer is trying to serve or seeking the service of an honest man.
• Riding on a two-winged horse: The dreamer will become a king or ruler if his stature permits. Otherwise he will simply obtain what he is aiming for.
• The runaway, bolting, or ungovernable horse: An angry and ungrateful man who takes things lightly and unconsciously. The same applies to a stubborn horse.
• A jumping horse: Desires will be fulfilled quickly and abundance is ahead.

Menstrual period If a widow or an unmarried woman experiences her menstrual period in a dream, it means that she will get married. If a man sees himself experiencing women's menstrual period in a dream, it means that he will commit an unlawful act, or that he lies. If he sees his wife in her period in the dream, it means that she will close herself to him, or that he will lose money in his business. Chicken Slaughtering a chicken in a dream means deflowering a virgin servant. If one sees a chicken or a female peacock hooting inside his house or garden in a dream, it means a calamity which is met with a belligerent character. Mountain • Falling from a mountain, a roof, a tree, and the like: Separation from whomever such a high place symbolizes according to the code of dreams. The subject himself should be consulted by the interpreter to know what, in his view, the mountain or tree, et cetera, could refer to and what his aspirations are. It could also mean that the dreamer will fall down by committing sins or to where intriguers are lying in wait for him, especially if he had fallen on ferocious beasts, crows, snakes, rodents, or garbage. Tremor (Labor pangs; Labor throes; Quake; Shaking; Shock) A tremor in a dream represents plants blooming, grass growing, vegetations sprouting, the blossoming of garden flowers, and the ripening of fruits.
