A Rope Coming From The Sky Abu Hurairah narrated that a man came to the Prophet Muhammad and said: "I had a dream of a cloud with shade dripping butter and honey. I saw the people scooping it up with their hands, some taking much and some taking little. I saw a rope extending from the sky to the earth. Then I saw you Prophet Muhammad! You took hold of it and went up, then a man took hold of it after you do so, then a man took hold of it after him to do so. Then a man took hold of it and it was severed, and then connected for him, and he did so (i.e. , went up)." Abu Bakr said: "May my father and mother be ransomed for you O Messenger of Allah! Allow me to interpret it." He said: "Interpret it." so he said: "As for the cloud with its shade, it is Islam. As for what the butter and honey that dropped from it, this is the Quran and its delicateness and sweetness. It means some of them gathered much of the Quran and some of them a little. As for the rope extending from the sky to the earth, it is the truth which you are upon, you clug to it and Allah exalted you. Then another man will take hold of it after you and ascend on it, then after him, another man will take hold of it and ascend on it. Then another [man] will take hold of it but it will break, then be connected so he will ascend on it. Inform me O Messenger of Allah! Am I correct or am I mistaken?" The Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) said: "You are correct in some of it and mistaken in some of it." He (i.e., Abu Bakr) said: "I swear to you by my father and my mother O Prophet Muhammad! Illness Having an illness in a dream represents a sickening character, or a hypocrite. Finding oneself ill in a dream means enjoying a good health for that year, or it could mean loss of devotion and lack of piety. If a warrior finds himself sick in a dream, it means that he will be wounded. If one sees his wife sick in a dream, it means that she is negligent of her religious obligations. If a sick person sees himself riding an ox, or a swine in a dream, it means his death. A feverish illness in a dream means pressure caused by a ruler. Feeling sick, or feeling down with an undiagnosed illness in a dream means spending money, or wasting it in ways other than on Allah's path. Incident - performing salah on top of the Kaabah A man once came to Saeed Ibn Musayyib (RA) and said : “ I have seen ( in my dream) that I am performing Salaah on top of the Kabah”. He replied: “Fear Allah! For it seems to me you have forsaken Islam”. The man said : “Your Excellency! I hereby offer my repentance in your presence for I have been advocating the beliefs of the Qadriyyah sect (the early Islamic sect around the companions time) since two months. Visiting holy sites Visiting the Prophet's Mosque in Medina in a dream means seeking Allah's nearness and his pleasure through good deeds. It also means feeling safe, mixing with people of knowledge, associating with people of religious ranks, joining the company of knowledge seekers, and developing sincere love for the family of Allah's Prophet, Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam, serving and loving those who love his progeny. Visiting the Prophet's Mosque (Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam) in a dream also means love, knowledge and guidance. Visiting Al-Aqsa Sacred Mosque in Jerusalem in a dream means blessings, understanding the inner meaning of important spiritual subjects and miraculous events, or reflecting upon the Nocturnal Journey of Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam), the night in which the eight heavens were decorated to receive and honor him when he was called upon to come before Allah Almighty. Incident - Central pillar of the house breaking A woman came to Prophet Muhammad, Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam, and said: "Oh Messenger of God, I saw in a dream that the central pillar which supports the ceiling of my house broke, and the ceiling caved in." Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam) replied: "Your husband will return to his home from a journey." Soon, the husband returned home from a business trip, and the wife was happy. Sidratul Muntaha Or The Lote Tree Of The Ultimate Boundary That tree was the last thing that the Muslims Holy Prophet Muhammad saw before crossing the “no-man’s space” that goes beyond Heaven and separates it from the Sublime Throne. It is prohibited even for angels. As a kind of privilege, the Prophet was transported, one night called the night of the Israe and Miraj, from the Sacred Mosque (of Mecca (Makkah)) to the Farthest Mosque of Al-Quds, or Jerusalem, and shown some of the Signs of God. Reciting Surah Nasr Allah will help its reader against his enemies. Perhaps its recitation is an indication of his death in the near future. For, it was specifically revealed to Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu-alayhi-wasallam) to inform him about his death. • Digging in the grave of a holy man with one’s nails: The dreamer is endeavouring to follow the path of the deceased.
• Digging in the grave of the Muslims Prophet Muhammad with one’s nails: The dreamer will refresh his memory about the Sunnah (Muhammad’s Tradition) and will benefit many people. Being Given Victory Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam) said, "I have been given the keys of eloquent speech and given victory with awe (cast into the hearts of the enemy), and while I was sleeping last night, the keys of the treasures of the earth were brought to me till they were put in my hand." Incident - Dream of Rabeeah bin Umayyah bin Khalf At this stage I saw you clasping your neck with both your hands”. Hadhrat Aboo Bakr As-Siddeeq (RA) : “if what you are saying is true then I am afraid you will forsake the Deen of Islam. As for me all my affairs will remain protected and my hands will not be contaminated through worldly pursuits”. The narrator says that during the Khilaafat of Hadhrat Umar (RA) Rabeeah Left Medinah to live in Rome . There he embraced Christianity in the presence of the then king and died as one. Incident - Abdullah bin Omar wanting to see a dream Do not merely talk!" The angels then took him to visit hell-fire, which was folded up like a well. In it he saw some people he knew, but the angels pulled him away from them to the right. When Abdullah woke up, he told his dream to his sister Hafsa, the wife of Prophet Muhammad, Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam. In turn, Hafsa, God be pleased with her, related the dream to Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam) who commented: "Indeed, Abdullah is a righteous man.
