Reed (Cane) A reed in a dream represents the worst of people, or it could connote engaging in a despicable and a loathsome conversation. Homeland To feel a yearning or desire to see one's homeland in a dream means divorce between a husband and a wife, or separation between friends, or experiencing richness after poverty. Child birth • A man dreaming of being pregnant: Will be immersed in deep trouble, but will be safe if he delivered in the dream.
• A man dreaming that he has delivered a child: (1) If poor, will get rich. (2) If rich, will have troubles and worries. (3) If a bachelor, will quickly get married, as normally, it is the wife who should deliver. (4) A relative will die.
• A sick person giving birth to a child: Will die.

Garden If one finds within such a garden a group of associates or colleagues, the garden then represents a marketplace. If one sees a servant or a worker of his urinating inside a well or a stream inside such a garden in the dream, it means that a relative will betray the interests of the family. A garden whose owner is known in a dream represents a mosque, a park, people of knowledge, ignorant people, the generous ones or the stingy ones. It also represents a meeting place where the rich and the poor, the righteous and the insolent gather. Crane • Cranes flying in a country’s skies: A harbinger of extremely cold weather and unbearable storms during the year.

Raincoat Wearing silk brocaded overcoat in a dream signifies attachment to one's worldly gains and disregard for one's religious and spiritual benefits. Being the only person who is wearing an overcoat or a raincoat in a dream means becoming poor and mixing with good people by displaying praiseworthy qualities. Crucifixion • A bondsman dreaming of being crucified: Will be freed.
• Being crucified on the wall of a city with people watching: The dreamer will have dignity and influence, and both the rich and poor will be at his command (under him). If he bleeds, his subjects will benefit from him.

Intercession (Mediation) Interceding on behalf of someone in a dream represents honor, a seat of authority, or influence. Intercession in a dream also means cheating, or earning a wage for one's work without humiliation. If one sees the Day of Reckoning in a dream and people searching for an intercessor among the prophets, upon all of them be peace, it means social unrest and privation of the poor and needy from one's assistance. Cooking If one cooks beef in his dream, it means living a comfortable life using the labor of tradesmen. If one sees himself cooking lion's meat in a dream, it means that he will rise to leadership over unjust people, though one will have to maintain his vigilance and live in constant fear. If one sees himself cooking dog's meat in a dream, it means that he will manage a lowly job. If he cooks the fat with it in a dream, it means that he will earn unlawful money. Otherwise, without the fat, it means that he will perform a lowly job and remains poor and deprived. If one sees himself cooking a bird in a dream, it means governing or managing a business or earning lawful money from associating with rich and noble people. Policeman • Dreaming of imprisoning certain people as a policeman: The dreamer will be on bad terms and have trouble with his subordinates.
• A polytheist having gone to Paradise, prayed in the direction of the Qiblah (Mecca (Makkah)) or entered a stronghold with a clear conscience: Will become a Muslim.
• A well-off person seeing a polytheist: The former seeks learning and will subdue his enemies.

Asylum • Being in the asylum amid sick people: Will go to jail for some legal matters.
• Being in the asylum with the mad: Will be imprisoned with criminals.
• A person in good health dreaming of being in a sanatorium: Will be ill.
• A sick person dreaming of being in a madhouse: (1) Prolonged illness. (2) Will die estranged, abroad, or as a martyr. Crawling Crawling on one's knees in a dream represents a chronic illness, or praying in a sitting position while being able to stand up in prayers. It also could mean wavering in one's decision to travel and being reprimanded for it, or it could mean losing interest or lacking vigor. If a poor person sees himself crawling in a dream, it means that his needs will be satisfied. If he is a rich, it means that he will become needy. Eagle • Catching and taming an eagle: The dreamer will befriend a king.
• An eagle scratching the dreamer with its claws: The dreamer will face physical and financial hardships.

• A woman giving birth to an eagle: The dreamer will have an illustrious son, if the lady lives in the propitious milieu. If she is poor, she will give birth to a soldier.

Midwife (Accoucheuse) In a dream, a midwife means revealing hidden secrets that when unveiled, they will cause injuries or death. Seeing a midwife in a dream also denotes good advice. Seeing her in a dream also indicates walking through adversities, reaching peace, initiating fascination, or she could represent trials, evil, crying, or paying a fine. Gourd The gourd, also called vegetable marrow, pumpkin, squash, and winter squash, alludes to the recovery of a sick person. Its vine is a knowledgeable man or a blessed and sociable doctor who benefits people. It could also refer to a poor man. A gourd is favoured by most interpreters, like meat and eggs.

Child Bereavement of a child in a dream means the opposite in real life. It also means rejoicing, reunions, pleasures and earning respect. Bereavement of a child in a dream is sometimes interpreted to portray an intention of one's children or wife to separate from the family. A little male child in a dream represents worries, responsibilities, hard work, catering to ignorant people or dealing with trivial and time wasting people. If a prisoner sees himself carrying a little girl in his dream, it means that he will be released from his prison. If one who is going through hard times sees himself holding a little girl in a dream, it means that his adversities will be lifted. Church For Christians, says Al-Nabulsi, the church symbolizes knowledge, work, asceticism, and reverence to the extent of crying. But the church, he continues, also symbolizes worries, unhappiness, misery, lying, decadence, slander, heresy, and places where injustice and impure recreation reign supreme. It refers to brothels, gambling places, taverns, and everything that soils the individual. It could also represent a tyrant. Still according to Al-Nabulsi, the church might also allude to the abode of demons, like the garbage place and the bathroom; the grave, the house of the adulteress; the cabaret; the place where people wail; Hell; and jail. The stronger the edifice of the church and the higher the structure, the weaker the Muslims and their religion in that place.24

Cane Canes symbolize slander or any person who is faithful to nobody and nothing and has no religion. They also refer to trashy people and evil talk.
• Relying on a cane or reed: Little is left of the dreamer’s life; he will become poor and die as such, and so is the case with anything hollow.
• Sucking sugarcane: Will do something or get involved in something that will provoke a lot of talk over and over again.

Rainbow If it appears on one's left side in the dream, then it means prosperity and a good harvest. As for poor people, seeing a rainbow on one's right side also means richness, while for a rich person it means short lived difficulties.
