Being Given Victory Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam) said, "I have been given the keys of eloquent speech and given victory with awe (cast into the hearts of the enemy), and while I was sleeping last night, the keys of the treasures of the earth were brought to me till they were put in my hand." Resurrection (Day of Reckoning; Day of Resurrection; Last Day; Reckoning; Rising of the dead; Trumpet of Resurrection) Seeing the Day of Resurrection, or Doomsday in a dream is a serious warning for a sinner, or it could represent a warning for someone who is contemplating a sinful act. Seeing the Day of Resurrection in a dream also denotes justice. Being the only person resurrected on such a day means one's death. Standing up awaiting one's judgement on the Day of Resurrection in a dream means travels. Disease Disease always applies to weak or erroneous religious faith. It means that the dreamer is not discharging his religious duties regularly or trying to show his obedience to God. A disease coupled with fever—a warm or hot disease—means worries to be brought about by the ruler. A dry disease means that the dreamer is overspending in a way inconsistent with the injunctions of the Almighty or that he is contracting debts left and right, or misusing funds entrusted to him and that he will fail to restore—which will draw him a punishment. Teacher (Bucket; Grammar teacher; Language teacher) In a dream, a teacher represents a strong person who does people favors and particularly those who learn at his hand unless if he takes monetary compensation for his work in the dream. Rook (Carrion crow; Crow; Raven) Capturing a rook in a dream means receiving an inheritance, or it could mean presenting the truth before a jury in a court of justice that will be refuted, then presenting the judge with a false version that will be accepted. Running away If a man of knowledge or a scholar sees himself running away from an enemy in fear in a dream, it means that he will be asked to sit as a judge, or to govern. Piss • Pissing sand or mud: The dreamer performs his ablutions neither properly nor regularly.
• Pissing fire: (1) The dreamer will have a powerful son. (2) The dreamer will have a son who will become a thief.
• Pissing a lion: The dreamer will have an unjust son.
• Pissing worms: The dreamer will be prolific.
• Pissing a snake: The dreamer will have a son who will turn hostile to him.
• Pissing a she-cat: The dreamer will have a girl by an Oriental woman born in a coastal area.

Soliciting advice (Appeal; Begging; Bequeath; Plead) To solicit the advice of a religious scholar, a learned person, a lawyer, or a judge in a dream means to need them in a conflict. If a rich person asks a poor person for something or for a favor in a dream, it means that he could suffer in hell -fire unless he repents from his sins and bigotry. Ali Ibn Abi Taleb • An Ulema, or Muslim religious scholar or erudite, seeing Ali: Will acquire further knowledge, prestige, and power over his equals. The dreamer should be careful as not to be taken captive, deported, or relocated. Seeing Ali in a warlike mood in a Muslim city: Civil strife or a very strong polemic.
• Seeing Ali in a place where there are great or old people: They will all be destroyed.
• Seeing Ali, his hands deeply tinged: The children of the dreamer will have the upper hand in a dispute with him.
• Seeing Ali with a wound in his body: The dreamer is being stabbed or strongly contested and will be brought down or subdued.

Daoud • A person eligible to become a judge or a governor dreaming that he has taken the image of David or worn his clothes: Will become as such. If the dreamer is a blacksmith or an iron manufacturer or merchant, he will become prosperous from that business. If he is just a pious man, he will have plenty of welfare, but not without weeping and sorrow and extreme reverence to the Almighty.

Bolter (Sieve; Sifter) A bolter in a dream signifies spiritual guidance, repentance from sin, a just judge who examines carefully each case, canvases the truth and discerns between truth and falsehood. A bolter in a dream also represents a man and a woman who do not carry evil in them. Reckoning (Day of Reckoning; Doomsday; Resurrection) Seeing the reckoning of a deceased person in a dream denotes his sufferings in the hereafter. If a traveller is asked to account for his travel expenses, and if he is treated with kindness during the reading of his report in the dream, it means profits from his journey and a safe return to his homeland. If one reckons himself in a dream, it means that he will repent for his sins. If one is brought for judgment on the day of reckoning, and if his questioning is made easy in the dream, it means that Allah has blessed him to marry a pious wife who has love and compassion for him, and who cares about his interests. Grill • The one who grills meat: (1) A tutor or educator of young princes, free children, and young girls or female slaves. He teaches them a profession or a craft. (2) A surgeon. (3) A troublemaker and an antagonist. (4) A torturer using wooden, iron, and other infernal devices. (5) A looter. (6) One who takes people’s lives. (7) The one who captures girls and women as war booty.
• Going to the cook of grilled meat to buy a well-done steak or the like: The dreamer will hand over his son to a tutor to teach and educate him.

Responding (arb. Talbiyah) Responding to a call, or uttering and repeating a formula " Labbaika Allahumma Labbaik, " during the pilgrimage season in a dream means that one will capture his enemy and bring him to justice. Incident - Fly Coming Out Of Nose A man was asleep when his friend brought an open pitcher of milk and a water melon. The friend then cut a piece of the water melon and placed the milk and the pitcher beside his friend's pillow with the knife on top of the pitcher. He then sat down and waited for him to wake up. When the man woke up, he told his friend an amazing dream. He said: "I saw as though a type of fly came out of my nose, and it stood over a knife before reentering my nose. The Prophet Muhammad's (Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam) Being Presented With The Treasures Of Earth Narrated Abu Huraira: I heard Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam) saying, "I have been sent with Jawami al-Kalim (i.e., the shortest expression carrying the widest meanings), and I was made victorious with awe (caste into the hearts of the enemy), and while I was sleeping, the keys of the treasures of the earth were brought to me and were put in my hand." The Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam) said, Jawami'-al-Kalim means that Allah expresses in one or two statements or thereabouts the numerous matters that used to be written in the books revealed before (the coming of) the Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam). Hell • Dreaming of having entered Hell: (1) The dreamer is committing such sins and abominations as would deserve capital punishment. (2) The dreamer will serve as a judge.
• Having been introduced to Hell: The person who pushed the dreamer into Hell is misleading him and inciting him to commit abominations.
• Having come out unscathed from the Inferno: The dreamer will be immersed in troubles.

Mountain • The same dream for someone who is not sailing and has nothing to do with the sea: Will deviate from the consensus, hold independent views, and come out with fantasies and heresies. It would be especially so if the dreamer was accompanied by wild mountain animals or if there was a judge, a scholar, or a just imam on the vessel he left.
• Climbing a mountain relates to something the dreamer is requesting. If he climbed without difficulty or on stairs and reached the top, demands will be met without problems. If on the contrary, the ascent was rough or he failed to reach the top or fell, the reverse would apply and he would have as many tragedies as limbs were broken, et cetera. Angel • The angels working in the dreamer’s craft or doing as he does: He will excel in his industry.
• Angels coming to destroy the dreamer’s home or a group of fewer than ten angels appearing in a country, a village, or a place: A prominent scholar or hermit will die in that place, the victim of an injustice will be killed, or a house will crumble over its dwellers.
• An evil person dreaming that an angel is ordaining him to read the Book of Allah: A stern warning in view of the Quranic verse: “And it will be said unto him, Read thy book. Thy soul sufficeth as reckoner against thee this day’ ” (“Al-Israe” or “Bani Ismail” [The Children of Israel], verse 14.)

Incident - Abdullah bin Omar wanting to see a dream Abdullah bin Omar, God be pleased with both of them, related that in his youth, he wished to see a true dream and to hear its interpretation from Prophet Muhammad, Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam. At that time, Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam) used to ask people if they saw any dream and he interpreted them accordingly. Abdullah once prayed: "Lord, if Thou reserves any good for me, then let me see a dream that will be interpreted by Prophet Muhammad, Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam."
