Sword The sword symbolizes a son; influence; the anger of the dreamer, and matters that come to a head. It also refers to an intrigue, welfare, kingship or ownership, or a mad or mean woman or son on whom one should never turn his back. Its sheath represents a woman, same as the knife and its scabbard or the slipper and the foot symbolize the man and the woman. The blade is a son. An alien sword is a noble wife or son.
• Seeing a huge sword that resembles nothing in this world: It is the sword of intrigue and dissension. If it disappears in the air, ascends to the sky, or is thrown in the sea, the intrigue will be put down.

Torah If one's wife is pregnant, it means that she will bear a child who resembles his father. If one's wife is pregnant, and if he sees himself holding the Torah in a dream, it means that she will beget a daughter, for the gender of the word Torah is feminine. It also means that he will mix with evil companions. Similar interpretations are given to carrying other scriptures. To see the Torah, or the Evangel, or the Gospel in a dream is as though one has seen Prophet Muhammad Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam, because his name (Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam) is mentioned in all three of them. Cleaver (Butcher's knife) In a dream, a cleaver represents a strong and a courageous man, who distinguishes clearly between right and wrong, easy and difficult and who fosters no enmity, though if someone dares to fight him, he will have the power to disperse him in the land. Incident - seeing a Glass Vessel Break A person revealed his dream to Ibn Sirin (RA) saying that he had seen a glass vessel in his hand. Suddenly it fell from his hand and borke. Or he said that he saw it broken in his hand while holding it. The Imaam asked whether his wife was expecting. Key • Holding the key to Paradise: (1) Will acquire knowledge and turn ascetic. (2) Will find a treasure. (3) Will make honest gains or inherit.
• Holding the keys of the Kabah (the Muslims holiest shrine, in Mecca (Makkah)): Will become the chamberlain of a great ruler or an imam (Muslim spiritual leader).

Sacking needle (Needle; Upholsterer's needle) A sacking needle in a dream represents a woman, because of its threading hole. Holding a sacking needle in a dream means travels, or if one's wife is pregnant, it means that she will beget twin girls. Dream Interpreter: Ibn Sirin

Scissors (Clippers; Shears) In a dream, scissors mean slander and causing harm to someone's reputation without regard for the truth. Scissors in a dream also represent a legal guardian who discerns between true and false. Holding a pair of scissors in a dream means delivering a brother for one's first born son, or having two businesses feeding one another, unless if one is unmarried, then holding a pair of scissors, or a nail clipper in a dream means getting married. Carrot In a dream, carrots represent reprimand, suppression or an obscene and an odious person. However, if one sees himself holding or eating a carrot in a dream, it means overcoming one's difficulties. It is also said that holding or eating carrots in a dream means grieve and depression. Planet • Observing a huge twinkling planet: Welfare, influence, and knowledge.
• Holding a planet in one’s hand: The dreamer will be blessed with an honest son.
• Holding small planets: Fame and influence.
• Stealing a planet: The dreamer will steal something valuable.
• A gigantic planet falling: Death of a chief.
• Planets disappearing from the sky: (1) If the dreamer is rich, money will go. (2) If he is poor, he will die.

Sparrow A sparrow or a hawk in a dream represents an ignorant and unjust ruler. Both command lesser controlling domains than the eagle. Holding a sparrow or a hawk in a dream means that one will capture a thief. If one sees himself producing a sparrow or a hawk out of his urethral canal, it means that he will bore a son who will possess courageous and frivolous character. Vessel • Being in a ship at the bottom of the sea: The dreamer will be in the hands of the people he fears most, and his eventual death will come as a relief for him.

Glass If the name of a king is written on it, it means that the life of that king will soon come to an end. Glass seen in the form of a container is the least harmful. The Holy Prophet is said to have predicted the slaying of his own grandson, Al-Hussein (from his daughter Fatema Al-Zahrae), when told that he was seen in a dream holding a bottle. The Prophet said, “I shall collect in it the blood of Al-Husain.”28 Dreaming of dropping a glass bottle that breaks means the dreamer’s wife will die. Key Holding to a key that has no teeth in a dream means cheating an orphan of his inheritance, or becoming a guardian of an estate and deceiving its rightful heirs. Holding to the key of Paradise in a dream means acquiring knowledge, lawful wealth, or receiving an inheritance. Keys in a dream also represent the coffers they open. Seeing a key in a dream also means performing a pilgrimage to Mecca. A key made of iron in a dream represent a strong and a dangerous man. It also means openness in one's life. Paper If one's boss gives him a paper to write something on it in a dream, it means that he will solicit something from his boss and eventually receive it. If one feels uncertain about some people then sees himself holding a pen and a piece of paper in a dream, it means that his obscurity will be replaced with clarity. Holding a piece of paper in a dream also means attaining one's goal, or completing a project, or finalizing a program. Rope (Cable; Hawser) In a dream, a rope represents an agreement, a promise, or a covenant. A rope which is extended down from the heavens in a dream represents Allah's Book. However, a rope in a dream also represents rank, respect and prosperity, or it could mean deception, misleading others, or sorcery. Holding to a rope in one's dream represents one's strict adherence to Allah's path. If the rope is made from fibers in the dream, it means that the one holding it is a rough person.
