Tent If one sees a white tent raised beside his tent in a dream, it represents a righteous person who commands what is good and forbids what is evil. Dyer In a dream, a leather finisher or a fabric dyer represents a false person, though he also could do good. A dyer in a dream also represents someone of good financial standing or one who is in position to help others, or he could be a man of knowledge, or a person in authority. Seeing a dyer dying a white garment into a green color in a dream means repentance from sins. If he changes the dye of a white garment into black, it means apostasy. Hair • Removing one’s white hair, one by one: The dreamer is doing things contrary to the Tradition of the Holy Prophet and has no respect for the elderly.
• A young man seeing some white hairs on his head: An absent one will come back.
• Seeing one’s hair having turned white: Will have a child.

Bowl (Cup; Plate; Tray) In a dream, a bowl represents man's money pouch or what his wife would like to receive from him. If one sees himself receiving a bowl filled with sweets in a dream, it means receiving abundance of love from one's beloved. If the bowl is filled with sour food or some green raw vegetables in the dream, it means that animosity will develop on the part of his beloved, and it will provoke despise and fighting between husband and wife. Gourd The gourd, also called vegetable marrow, pumpkin, squash, and winter squash, alludes to the recovery of a sick person. Beard • Having a white, shining beard: Will have power and prestige and be well noted in the country, as, according to Ibn Siren, Abraham’s beard was white.
• The beard becoming hoary or gray: Prestige and respectability.
• The beard graying and then turning completely white: Will become poor and unheeded. A black-bearded young man told Ibn Siren he dreamed that his beard had turned completely white and that he was trying to dye it, to no avail, as the dye wouldn’t hold. The interpreter replied that his fortune was declining and that he was trying to conceal this fact, in vain, which he admitted.
• Having a jet-black or pitch-black beard: Will grow prosperous and self-sufficient, especially if the black was greenish, in which case it would mean tremendous wealth and authority coupled with tyranny, as that was said to be the color of the hair of Moses pharaoh. Banner If the banners are black in the dream, they mean that one will meet a man of knowledge. If the banners are white, then they represent a jealous person who will never be married. If they are yellow, they represent an epidemic disease. If they are green, they mean a journey by land. A banner or a flag in a dream also means that one will be wrapped in ambiguity in relation to a particular matter and he will not find a way out. If one sees a flag and a brigade in a dream, it means that he will be able to find his way through the difficulties and overcome his sadness and adversities. Donkey The donkey symbolizes man’s endeavours and luck, commensurate with its weight and size. Only the braying of that animal is seen as a bad omen.
• A fat donkey: Money for the owner.
• A lean donkey: Poverty of the owner.
• A tall donkey: Man’s prestige.
• A beautiful donkey: The dreamer will look better.
• A white donkey: The dreamer is pious and has a certain style.
• A black donkey: Joy, sovereignty, awe, and majestic power. The donkey was Ibn Siren's favourite animal and black his favourite color (for dreams).

Bead (Also see Aqiq.) Beads symbolize a woman, a servant, a girl or a slave, money, politeness, shrewdness, procreation, and boys.
• Finding beads: (1) Money and gifts from God, as many gifts as beads. (2) A beneficial trip.
• Finding white beads: Will get a good servant who fears the wrath of God.
• Finding green beads: Will have a pious servant.
• Finding black beads: Will obtain the services of a nonreligious, corrupt, and unkind servant.

Drapes Old drapes in a dream represent adversities which will not last. Torn drapes in a dream mean happiness and joy. If they are torn vertically in the dream, they represent a quick joy. If they are torn horizontally in the dream, they mean slander against one's family. Black drapes in a dream mean worries because of money, a child, or the authorities. White or green drapes mean good results. Drapes hanging over the door of a mosque in a dream represent spiritual problems or religious failure.
