Incident - Giving birth to a long braided rope of black hair When Urn Jareer bin Al-Khatfi was pregnant, she saw in a dream that she gave birth to a long braided rope of black hair. A soon as the rope fell from her womb, it began to go from one man to another and strangle them. Um Jareer woke up scared from her dream. The next day, she related the dream to a dream interpreter who told her: "You will give birth to a son who will grow to be a famous poet. Donkey The donkey symbolizes man’s endeavours and luck, commensurate with its weight and size. Only the braying of that animal is seen as a bad omen.
• A fat donkey: Money for the owner.
• A lean donkey: Poverty of the owner.

• A white donkey: The dreamer is pious and has a certain style.

Tallness (Height; Size) To see oneself taller than usual in a dream means increase in knowledge and wealth. If a man of authority sees that, it means expansion of his power. If he is a merchant, it means business prosperity. If one sees himself extremely tall and beyond the tallest human being in a dream, it means the nearing of his death, or it could mean his downfall. Grape Black grapes during the right season symbolize fear and disease; otherwise they mean trouble and worries. They are also a harbinger of cold weather. Grapes were believed by the ancient Arabs to be harmful. They also thought that no benefit could be derived from the black color and hated black grapes in any case. Among other things, they argued that the grape was originally white, placed near the son of Nuh (Noah). When his father cursed him, it suddenly turned black. Certain dream interpreters felt that the black grape meant nothing but money that will not last. Separate from the bunch, it symbolized extreme fear or chills. Others regarded the black grape as a not so bad dream, in view of a verse in the Holy Quran: “And of the fruits of the date-palm, and grapes, whence ye derive strong drink and (also) good nourishment. • Your face being black and your clothes dirty: You are lying to God.
• Your face turning black and dusty: You will die.

Hell • Dreaming of being grilled on embers: The dreamer is deliberately walking tall while people are prostrating themselves in the sanctuaries.

Beard • Having a white, shining beard: Will have power and prestige and be well noted in the country, as, according to Ibn Siren, Abraham’s beard was white.
• The beard becoming hoary or gray: Prestige and respectability.
• The beard graying and then turning completely white: Will become poor and unheeded. A black-bearded young man told Ibn Siren he dreamed that his beard had turned completely white and that he was trying to dye it, to no avail, as the dye wouldn’t hold. The interpreter replied that his fortune was declining and that he was trying to conceal this fact, in vain, which he admitted.
• Having a jet-black or pitch-black beard: Will grow prosperous and self-sufficient, especially if the black was greenish, in which case it would mean tremendous wealth and authority coupled with tyranny, as that was said to be the color of the hair of Moses pharaoh. Record keepers Seeing the scribes of the records in one's dream brings him glad tidings in this life and in the next. If the person lives a pious life, it means that the heavenly paradise is his final abode, but if he is impious, it could represent a clear warning. The color blond in a dream means war, sickness, piety, honor or a religious person. In a dream, the color blond also means contemptibleness, vileness, meanness or depravity. Irrationality If one acts irrationally in a dream, it means that he will act with disgrace, stupidity or shamelessness in real life. Being irrational in a dream and intentionally using violent or insulting words, and acting deliberately in an evil way means despair of Allah's mercy. It also means refuting or opposing something. It is also interpreted to mean attending to one's prayers without the ritual ablution. Irrationality in a dream also may mean insolent behavior, or ill speaking of peoples honor or chastity.
