Intruder In a dream, an intruder represents a stranger, a low spirited person who is much humiliated by others because of his cast or origin. In a dream, an intruder also may represent a messenger, a lively person, or a restless one. Dream Interpreter: Ibn Sirin
Hand • Having short hands: (1) Chances have been or will be missed. (2) The dreamer is impotent. (3) The dreamer will be disappointed by brothers or assistants. • The right hand longer than the left: The dreamer is good to his parents, other relatives, and even strangers. • Paralysis of the hands: The dreamer will commit a great sin. • Paralysis of the right hand: The dreamer will beat an innocent man and commit an injustice vis-a-vis a weak person. • Having a twisted hand: The dreamer is either avoiding sins or committing a great sin, for which he will be punished severely by God. Appetite (Sated; Saturation; To eat one's fill) In a dream, to eat one's fill means fidgety or restlessness. If one sees himself satiated with food and could not eat any more in a dream, it means changing of his condition, losing rank, losing business, or his death. This interpretation is applicable unless one finds in his dream extra space to fill with food, then the dream means that his lot in this world will equal the size of that remaining space. Dress • The dead giving the dreamer an old robe: The latter will become poor and miserable. • The dead giving the dreamer a new robe: The latter will become rich and powerful. • Holding one’s Arab robe and telling a dead person, “Take this and sew it,” or, “wash it,” without the cloth leaving the dreamer’s hand or becoming the property of the dead: Trouble, hardships, and depression. Child birth If he is rich, then it means distress. If he is unmarried, it means a forthcoming marriage, so that his future wife will give the birth he saw in his dream. In general, if a man sees himself giving birth in a dream, it means his death or the death of a relative, or it could mean experiencing poverty. As for a needy person, it means relief or an escape. Vomit If one swallows a pearl then throws up honey in his dream, it means that he will render a correct interpretation of some Quranic verses. Drinking milk then vomiting it in a dream means turning away from the truth. Drinking milk and vomiting honey in a dream means repentance from sin. Drinking blood in a dream then vomiting it as milk also means repentance from sin. If one's vomit is yellow and bitter in taste in the dream, it means repentance after having paid the price of one's crime. If one vomits mucus in his dream, it means that he will voluntarily repent from wrongdoing. Throwing up food in a dream means giving away something to someone who needs it. Swallowing what one is throwing up before it leaves his mouth in a dream means to go back on one's word. Eating what one has just vomited in a dream means prosperity and fame. Sodomy (Also see Sex, Incest, and Necromancy.) • Sodomizing a man: (1) Joy and alleviation from grief or trouble. (2) The two parties will do something wrong through ignorance. • Sodomizing the sultan (ruler or chief): The dreamer will lose his money. The reverse is true. • Sodomizing a stranger: (1) The dreamer will overspend. (2) The dreamer will render a just judgment. • Sodomizing one’s father: The dreamer is an obedient and affectionate son; otherwise he could never have such a dream, according to Ibn Siren. Anus • Drinking water through one’s anus: The dreamer is constipated or congested. • Seeing worms or lice coming out of the rectum or anal tract: Will part from one’s children. • Blood coming out of the anus: A reference to the grandchildren. • Being stained with one’s own anal blood: Illicit money. • Seeing a duster coming out of one’s anus (or stomach): Will move away from strangers who are eating up the money of your children. Seeing a peacock coming out of one’s anus: A beautiful girl will be born to the dreamer. • A fish coming out of one’s anus: The dreamer will have an ugly girl. Coarse (Clothing; Food; Words) If a rich person sees himself either wearing coarse clothing, eating coarse food or speaking harsh words in a dream, it means that he will experience severe changes in his life and that will perhaps affect much of his savings. Should one feel more comfortable about such changes in the dream, or if he prefers them over his usual comforts, it becomes a sign of his humility, contentment, gratitude and the correctness of his way of thinking. Should he feel uncomfortable about such changes in the dream, it means that he will become subject to Allah's wrath. Chewing (Greed) To chew food other than for grinding or eating one's meal in a dream means an illness or loss of appetite. Chewing gum in a dream means earning money coupled with ugly words that will grow to become a big fight and that will lead to a court appearance. The source of it all begins with greed. Anything that is chewed in a dream means an exchange of words. The only exception to it is chewing a stick of sugar cane in a dream. Eagle • Catching and taming an eagle: The dreamer will befriend a king. • An eagle scratching the dreamer with its claws: The dreamer will face physical and financial hardships. • An eagle being friendly, giving something to the dreamer, or talking to him in a comprehensible manner: Benefits and welfare. • A woman giving birth to an eagle: The dreamer will have an illustrious son, if the lady lives in the propitious milieu. (2) Someone from the dreamer’s lineage will prevail over his folk. (3) Will hear some great news. • A woman delivering a cat from her vagina: She will give birth to a thief. • A woman giving birth to an eagle: Will have an illustrious son, if the lady lives comfortably. Table Sitting on such a table in a dream means joining the company of such great man. If the dining table is topped with clean food and fresh bread in the dream, it means love between friends and brethren. To have little food and some bread on the table in a dream means lack of such love between brethren. Accepting the invitation to share a loaf of bread with someone in a dream means love, unity and prescribing to the prophetic traditions.
