Banquet (Ceremonial dinner) Attending a banquet or giving a banquet in a dream means dispelling distress and overcoming adversities. House The house gate or door is the father of the family. The mortise and tenon symbolize the female and male sexual organs as they fit into each other. Locked together, they represent the husband embracing his wife. By extension, the mortise and tenon could also refer to the couple’s two children, a boy and a girl, to two brothers, or to two persons sharing the same house. Glass In a dream, any glass by-products represent people of knowledge, scholars, Gnostics, sages or people of wisdom. Buying a glittering glass ornament, or a house made of mother of pearl in a dream means choosing the pleasures of this world over the everlasting joy of the hereafter, or it could mean disdaining to obey Allah's commands, or it could mean becoming an apostate. A drinking glass cup in a dream represents a woman. Receiving a glass of water in a dream means that one's wife is pregnant. An unknown kind of glass cup or a roughly cut drinking glass of water in a dream means that there is a fetus in the mother's womb. If the glass of water breaks and the water remains in the dream, it means that the mother may die after giving birth and the infant will survive. If the water spills and the glass remains intact in the dream, it means that the fetus may die and the mother will survive. The breaking of a glass in a dream also denotes the death of the one who is serving it. If a sick person is given a glass of wine, or water, or a bitter apple drink, or a laxative in a dream such a drink represents his last cup. Piper A piper in a dream also represents an Obituarist, an announcer of a murder, someone who exposes an adulterer, or one who uncovers a secret prostitution ring and exposes it leaders. A piper in a dream also may denote one's anus. An unknown piper in a dream means suffering from a venereal disease. Physician (Mother) A physician in a dream represents a wise man, or a religious doctor. A physician in a dream also represents a scholar, and a scholar in a dream represents a physician. If one sees a physician examining him in a dream, it means an improvement in his health condition. If one sees a religious scholar advising him in a dream, it means that hypocrisy and doubt will be dispelled from his heart. A physician in a dream also represents one's mother, or he could be an opponent, or an adversary. The death of one's physician in a dream means the death of one's mother. • Piercing a pearl with a wooden nail: Will make love to a prohibited relative. A man told Ibn Siren he dreamed that he was piercing a pearl. “Do you know your mother?” the interpreter asked. “No, she was taken captive when I was a small child.” “Have you recently bought a slave?” “Yes.” “Do you sleep with her?” “Yes.” “Then fear God, for she is that mother.”

Zikr If during his dream one speaks words of truth and wisdom, it means that he will recover from his adversity and be cured from his illness. Furthermore, he will move into a more comfortable life and begin a life of sharing and doing good deeds in this world, or he may receive guidance and light, and faith will permeate his heart. Appetite (Sated; Saturation; To eat one's fill) In a dream, to eat one's fill means fidgety or restlessness. If one sees himself satiated with food and could not eat any more in a dream, it means changing of his condition, losing rank, losing business, or his death. This interpretation is applicable unless one finds in his dream extra space to fill with food, then the dream means that his lot in this world will equal the size of that remaining space. Jesus Christ The Christians say Jesus is the Son of God. Again God says in the Holy Quran: “Allah hath not chosen any son, nor is there any God along with Him” (“Al-Muminun” [The Believers], verse 91.) (11) Christians will appear in the dreamer’s life. (12) Will be accused, though innocent. (13) Someone will lie to the dreamer or his mother. (14) Good tidings, because Jesus predicted the advent of the Holy Prophet. (15) Prayers will be heard. (16) For a craftsman: Benefits and good events. (17) Indignation, wrath, and anger, by allusion to God’s wrath when those who had asked Jesus to produce a table spread with food from heaven, then believed neither the miracle nor Jesus himself were turned into pigs and when those who assaulted Moses on a Saturday were turned into monkeys.32 (18) Plenty of luck with companions and students or disciples. Stork In a dream, a stork represents sociable and sharing people. However seeing a flock of storks gathering in the wintertime in a dream means a meeting of thieves and highway robbers, or it could represent the enemy's army, cold weather, air pollution, or strong winds. Moon Walking on the moon in a dream means endearment and love for one's mother. The sun and the moon in a dream represent one's father and mother. Seeing the reflection of one's face in the moon in a dream means one's death. If one is looking into the skies and he suddenly sees the moon in his dream, it means that his enemies will be subjugated to him. Earthenware pot In a dream, an earthenware pot means a sharing neighbor. It also means a modestly dressed woman, her estate, family and children. If the pot is made of brass or ceramic in the dream, it may represent a poor woman. An earthenware pot in a dream also means decision making, concealing one's secrets, or it could represent a woman who has frequent miscarriages. Coarse (Clothing; Food; Words) If a rich person sees himself either wearing coarse clothing, eating coarse food or speaking harsh words in a dream, it means that he will experience severe changes in his life and that will perhaps affect much of his savings. Should one feel more comfortable about such changes in the dream, or if he prefers them over his usual comforts, it becomes a sign of his humility, contentment, gratitude and the correctness of his way of thinking. Should he feel uncomfortable about such changes in the dream, it means that he will become subject to Allah's wrath. Chewing (Greed) To chew food other than for grinding or eating one's meal in a dream means an illness or loss of appetite. Chewing gum in a dream means earning money coupled with ugly words that will grow to become a big fight and that will lead to a court appearance. The source of it all begins with greed. Anything that is chewed in a dream means an exchange of words. The only exception to it is chewing a stick of sugar cane in a dream. Sodomy • Sodomizing a young but unknown man: Triumph over an enemy (young men generally being regarded as enemies) if the dreamer knows him and there is a dispute between the two. In the absence of hostility, it means that the passive partner will receive some benefit from the active one, his homonym (a person sharing the same name), or a counterpart. The same interpretation would apply, but with a lesser victory or less benefits, if impassioned kisses and intercourse in bed between the two men does not culminate in sodomy. If the dreamer sees himself kissing a man without sexual passion, it means that he will receive some benefit from the one he has kissed inasmuch as he was accepted. • Marrying a relative whom Islam prohibits: Will prevail over one’s family.
• Sodomizing one’s father: Will oust him from the country or be hostile to him.
• Having sex with one’s father or mother without ejaculation: Will be good to him or her. If the dream had ended with an orgasm, it would mean the reverse.
• A man dreaming or someone dreaming of him that he is having sex with his mother, sister, brother, or similar prohibited relations seen as dead in the dream: He is not supporting them as he should, but will change his attitude and become fair. It could also mean trouble and worries or, on the contrary, benefit to both parties. If they are seen to be alive in the dream, he does not have much affection for them.
