Crow • Seeing a crow at the king’s gate: Will commit a crime and will feel sorry or will kill one’s brother, then repent in view of a verse in the Holy Quran about Cain and Abel: “Then Allah sent a crow scratching up the ground, to show him how to hide his brother’s naked corpse. He said: Woe unto me! Am I not able to be as this raven and so hide my brother’s naked corpse? And he became repentant.” (“Al-Maidah” [The Table Spread], verse 31.)
• Being scratched by crows: (1) Will freeze to death. (2) Will be slandered by unscrupulous persons and suffer tremendously.
• A crow standing on the Kabah, the Muslims holiest shrine in Mecca (Makkah): A debauchee will marry an honest woman.

Head • Hanging upside-down in front of a crowd: The dreamer has done something wrong, feels sorry about it, and is repenting, but will live long, in view of a verse in the Holy Quran: “He whom We bring unto old age, We reverse him in creation (making him go back to weakness after strength). Have ye then no sense?” (“Ya-Sin,” verse 68.)
• One’s head being reversed: (1) If planning a trip, there will be a hindrance, but the trip will take place at a later time. (2) If already abroad, will return to the homeland but a bit late, unintentionally.
• A cold sore and pain in the head or neck: An epidemic will strike the people.
• Seeing oneself with a dog head, a donkey head, a horse head, or the head of any domestic animal: Will suffer from vexation, trouble, fatigue, and servitude.

Nose • Seeing oneself with two noses: The dreamer will have a family dispute.
• Dreaming that someone has cut your nose: (1) That someone will speak to the dreamer in a way as to forcibly make him obey. (2) The dreamer will die. (3) The dreamer’s wife will die, if pregnant. King If an appointed king sees someone who looks like him sitting in his throne in a dream, it means that he will beget a son. If he divorces his wife in a dream, it means that he will abdicate his throne. To see oneself sleeping with the king in the same bed and without a curtain between them, and if the king leaves the bed while one remains resting therein in the dream, it means that his mixing with the king will incur jealousy, or that he will inherit him. If one leaves the bed before the king, it means that he will escape from a great danger. If one sees himself sleeping alone in the king's bed in a dream, it means that he will marry a woman from the governing family, or that he may spend from his own money for the sake of a woman in that palace. If the bed is in the palace though unknown in the dream, it means that he will become a member of that government. Posterior Part A man uncovering his bottom to the dreamer: Will feed the dreamer well, then turn his back to him. If that man is young and the dreamer sees his anus, he will be snubbed by the latter. In the event of an old man known to the dreamer, that person, in particular, will cause people to turn away from the dreamer. If the old man was unknown, people would turn their back to the dreamer without his knowing why or discovering the source of such an attitude.
• A man uncovering the dreamer till his posterior part appears: He will disgrace the dreamer before his folk.

Snake (Boy; Contemptible person; Enemy; Hidden treasure; Idolatry; Innovators; Power; Unjust ruler; Woman) A snake in dream represents a person who lives in a valley. A snake in a dream also means enmity from one's in-laws or children, or it could represent the evil and jealousy of one's neighbor. A sleeping snake in a dream means a sleeping enemy. As for an unjust person, a water snake in a dream means receiving help, or it could represent a verdict. Owning a snake in a dream means gaining power and authority. Snot According to Ibn Siren, the mucus from the nose symbolizes the making of children, in view of the popular belief that the cat emanated from the lion’s snot.
• Having mucus in the nose: Wife is pregnant.
• Blowing one’s nose: (1) Will settle debts. (2) Will be relieved from a certain worry. (3) Will punish some people for a certain deed.
• Putting snot on the ground: Will have a daughter.
• Putting snots on one’s wife: She will conceive a male child but have a miscarriage.

Mattress (Bed; Sleeping pad) In a dream, a mattress represents comfort or a woman. Selling one's mattress in a dream means divorcing one's wife. If one's wife is sick, then selling one's mattress means that she may die from her illness. If one sees a dog or a pig sleeping on his mattress in a dream, it means that an insolent person is having a secret affair with one's wife. If the mattress is stuffed with wool, cotton, or down in the dream, it represents a wealthy woman. If the mattress is made of brocade or silk in the dream, it represents a Hindu woman. Piss • Pissing a bird: The dreamer will have a son showing similarities to the essence or characteristics of that bird, be they good or bad.
• Pissing stool: The dreamer will commit an abomination in which family will get involved.
• Pissing vomitus: The dreamer will have an illegitimate son.
• Pissing in the standing position: The dreamer will spend money unconsciously.
• Pissing on one’s shirt: (1) If a bachelor, the dreamer will get married. (2) If already married, the dreamer will have a boy.

Highwayman - Or Any Assailants, Bandits Or Robbers Who Intercept A Person The highwayman symbolizes the evil person who easily gets angry or loses his temper. Contradictory interpretations are not uncommon.
• A highwayman taking the dreamer’s belongings: Tragedy for the dreamer or some of his folk.
• Being robbed of one’s purse and other belongings by such a bandit: The dreamer will come across a man who will support and benefit him inasmuch as was taken from him in the dream.
• Someone intercepting the dreamer and seizing his belongings: The dreamer will make life tough for the one seen in the role of the highwayman and stop dealing with and stand against him in a matter that will harm him.

Slave The Arabic word for slave girl is jariyah: The running one or the running thing or matter, from jary, running. It follows that her sight in the dream is a good augury inasmuch as she appears pretty, well dressed, and perfumed, heralding something good coming. But it could also mean a transient intrigue or plight.
• Owning, buying, or being offered or sleeping with a slave girl or seeing one coming to the dreamer: (1) The return of or some news or a letter from an absent person. (2) Better winds (for a sailor). (3) Business success. (4) Smooth livelihood (for someone experiencing some hardships).

Pilgrimage • Going for the pilgrimage in due course: (1) If the dreamer never performed hajj before, he will be granted that honour. (2) If the dreamer is ill, he will recover. (3) If the dreamer has debts, they will be settled. (4) Fears will disappear. (5) The dreamer will return safe from a journey. (6) Business will turn profitable. (7) Post and dignity will be restored. Total rehabilitation. (8) If erring, the dreamer will come back to the right path. (9) Relief will come.
• Missing the pilgrimage mission: (1) Loss of a high post. Isolation. (2) Business losses. (3) The dreamer will be intercepted by highwaymen. (4) The dreamer will fall ill.

Handshake • Shaking hands with an unidentified sheikh or old man: The dreamer will be secure from God’s torture.
• A young man shaking hands with the dreamer: The dreamer will be immune from the enemies harm.
• A man whom the dreamer approaches to betroth his daughter shaking hands enthusiastically with the dreamer: The man will consent. The reverse is also true.

Star • Seeing Venus or Jupiter: The dreamer will be well received by people.
• Riding on a star: The dreamer will have power and influence and plenty of blessings.
• Stars disappearing from the sky: The dreamer’s fortune will be lost. If already poor, he will die.
• Seeing stars under one’s roof: Bad omen. Home will be destroyed and the dreamer himself will die.
• Eating stars: The dreamer will eat up people’s money.
• Destroying stars without eating them: Notables will mingle in the dreamer’s business and uncover his secrets. He might also be insulting the companions of the Muslims Holy Prophet.

Thigh • Dreaming that one’s thigh is red and hairy and calling someone to let him shave that hair: The dreamer has a debt a relative will settle on his behalf.
• Having a reduced or small thigh: (1) The dreamer’s clan is small. (2) The dreamer is a solitary person. (3) The dreamer will be estranged.

Weapon • Old people looking at the dreamer, who is armed: His friends are envying and coveting him.
• Young men looking at the dreamer, who is armed: His enemies are casting an evil eye on him.
• Being armed and capable of using the weapons: (1) The dreamer is an accomplished person. (2) The dreamer is pious. (3) If ill, God will heal him. (4) If on a journey, will return safe and sound. (5) Will no longer be scared. (6) Will achieve goals.

Abel Seeing Abel means: (1) The dreamer will be envied and suffer from spite on the part of one’s enemy or be killed without having committed any crime.
