Spit Spittle symbolizes a man’s wealth and power or capabilities. Warm spittle is a reference to life, while cold spittle alludes to death.
• Spitting: The dreamer is backbiting.

Seeds If one sees himself trying to plant something which is not a plant, or to place a seed in an unsuitable ground in a dream, it means that he is wasting his money and squandering his property. To plant seeds in a dream also could mean knowledge, wealth or recognizing a noble trade. Sprouted seeds in a dream represent honor and status. Head • Recovering one’s head, which had fallen without reason: (1) Financial gains. (2) Will recover, if ill.
• Replacing one’s severed head and seeing it working: Will be killed in Jihad (holy struggle).
• Seeing a head on a metal or wooden spearhead: A reference to a high-ranking official.
• Seeing a head in a container stained with blood: A chief is lying to the dreamer.
• The neck having been hit with a sword, sending the head reeling on the ground: (1) If ill, will heal. (2) If indebted, will settle debts. (3) If the dreamer has never been to Mecca (Makkah), he will go there. (4) If worried or at war, will be relieved. Dream Interpreter: Various Islamic Scholars
Flying Flying in a dream also represent a sickness that could lead a person near his death before he could recover from it. If one flies from a low elevation into a higher one and without wings in his dream, it means fulfillment of his aspirations. If one soars in the air like a pigeon in a dream and sees people below him, whereby he can benefit or harm whomever he wants, it means that he will preside over people and reach a rank of honor and dignity. If one becomes tired during his flight between tow cities or places and finds himself incapable of benefiting or harming anyone, and if he seeks nothing from his flight but is still happy about flying in the dream, it means that he is trying to find money for his personal needs or business. If one sees himself flying from one land into another in a dream, it means that he will attain honor, power, comfort and satisfaction. Bee For a farmer or a city dweller bees represent fertility, riches, and abundance, but the kind of wealth fraught with danger, because sometimes they sting. They also symbolize the rise in life, elevation to a higher rank, even to the headship. It is particularly so when the dreamer sees bees landing on his head. A farmer who dreams that bees have somehow perished should assume that his livelihood would meet with a similar fate. For a ruler or a military person bees are none else but soldiers, because they follow a commander, and they are usually enemy soldiers. They reflect hostility. If he dreamed that he killed them, it means that he will triumph over them. If he just captured them and got their honey, it means easy booty or benefit. Seeing bees in an empty or remote city or village means that the place will be raided by evil soldiers. And in this context, the beehive has a special significance. (Also see Beekeeper.) Bier • Plenty of biers put on the ground in a given place: The folk of that place are corrupt and indulging in adultery.
• A woman dreaming that she has died and been carried on a bier: Will get married. If already married, will relinquish her religion.
• Biers in the souk (marketplace): That market is full of adulterated goods and hypocrisy.
• Falling from one’s bier: Will be demoted; business and other interests will be stalled, and prestige will be lost.

Fasting Dreams about fasting have contradictory interpretations:
• Dreaming of being in the Muslims month of fasting (Ramadan): (1) Higher prices (inflation) and scarcity of foodstuffs. (2) Sound religion, end of worries, recovery from a disease, the settlement of debts.
• Having fasted the entire month of Ramadan: (1) Certainty after doubt. (2) If the dreamer was illiterate, he would memorize the Holy Quran.
• Dreaming of recognizing the utility of fasting and wishing to fast: Quick benefits from an unexpected source.
• Failing to fast during the month of Ramadan: (1) The dreamer is giving way to his instinct and passions. (2) The dreamer will have a blessed journey.
• Dreaming of having deliberately and overtly eaten throughout the month of Ramadan, instead of fasting like other Muslims: (1) The dreamer is disregarding religious rules. (2) The dreamer will commit a premeditated murder. Dream Interpreter: Various Islamic Scholars
Rain • The soil “raining up” blood or stones: Sufferings.
• Raining mostly blood or dust: Injustice on the part of the ruler.
• Raining dust without the latter forming a screen that reduces visibility: Fertility.
• Raining swords: Controversies, disputes, and perhaps a civil strife in the area.
• Raining watermelons: A disease or an epidemic.
• Raining all over the town: The areas inhabitants will be calumniated.

Beard • The beard reaching the ground: The dreamer will die.
• A boy below the age of puberty having a beard: Bad dream. He might die before reaching that age, in view of the element of prematurity, which is always a bad omen.
• Taking somebody else’s beard in one’s hand and pulling it: Will inherit the fortune of that man and eat it up.
• A slight decrease in the beard: Ease, the settlement of debts and relief.
• A considerable decrease in the beard heralds an ordeal and the withering away of money and prestige.

Stone Stones of a structure or on the ground symbolize the dead, the ignorant, the idle, and the atheists. Arab wise men used to describe the people of the pre-Islamic era as stones.
• Turning into stone: Will disobey God and lose faith, have a stone heart, or become crippled.
• Seizing, buying, or standing on stones: Will triumph over a man or marry a woman showing similarities to such a stone.
• Stones falling from the sky: Calamities brought about by a tyrant. Removing stones or mountains: Is attempting something difficult.

Seeds Planting seeds in a dream represent the element of progeny and procreation. Scattered seeds on the ground in a dream mean bearing a child for each seed. As for the grains that are germinated for medicinal purpose, when seen in a dream, they mean acquiring knowledge that helps the person in question to increase his or her piety and ascetic detachment from worldly matters. Pumpkin, cucumber, eggplant, sweet basil, chard, onion, cabbage, Indian corn and melon seeds in a dream mean abating or ceasing of difficulties and disturbances, or they could mean recovering from a terminal illness. Entering a house If it is customary for such a person to enter that place, then no harm will incur from his coming or going. If one sees himself entering a house of unfamiliar substance, ground or structure, and if he meets departed souls whom he recognizes in the dream, it means that he has entered the realms of the dead. If he sees himself going into that sphere, then coming out of it in the dream, it means that he will near his death, then recover from a serious illness. Moon If the moon disappears in the skies in a dream, it means that one's business has come to a halt, or that something he has asked for will not materialize, whether it be good or evil. If the moon reappears in the dream, it means that one will receive what he is seeking, and again, whether it is good or bad for him. Seeing a bright and a radiant moon in the skies in a dream means justice and prosperity. Seeing the moon inside one's house in a dream means that a guest or a traveller will soon arrive. Church For Christians, says Al-Nabulsi, the church symbolizes knowledge, work, asceticism, and reverence to the extent of crying. But the church, he continues, also symbolizes worries, unhappiness, misery, lying, decadence, slander, heresy, and places where injustice and impure recreation reign supreme. It refers to brothels, gambling places, taverns, and everything that soils the individual. It could also represent a tyrant. Still according to Al-Nabulsi, the church might also allude to the abode of demons, like the garbage place and the bathroom; the grave, the house of the adulteress; the cabaret; the place where people wail; Hell; and jail. The stronger the edifice of the church and the higher the structure, the weaker the Muslims and their religion in that place.24
• A bachelor dreaming of entering a church: (1) Will marry. (2) Will have a child. (3) Will deviate from the right path, especially if he falls prostrate before the statues that are there, kisses them, takes parts in a sacrifice, or wears a waistband. Dream Interpreter: Various Islamic Scholars
Snot According to Ibn Siren, the mucus from the nose symbolizes the making of children, in view of the popular belief that the cat emanated from the lion’s snot.
• Having mucus in the nose: Wife is pregnant.
• Blowing one’s nose: (1) Will settle debts. (2) Will be relieved from a certain worry. (3) Will punish some people for a certain deed.
• Putting snot on the ground: Will have a daughter.
• Putting snots on one’s wife: She will conceive a male child but have a miscarriage.

Padlock Breaking a lock and entering a house in a dream represents a conqueror or benefits that will come through such a person. A padlock in a dream also represents a bolt, a door latch, one's son, a handicapped wife, taking shelter away from one's enemy, a hidden treasure, or a burial ground. A padlock in a dream also may denotes sorcery, concealing secrets, or hindrances obstructing one's travel plans. Putting a padlock on one's door in a dream means prosperity after suffering from poverty, or receiving honors after being humiliated. Bread • Loaves of bread spread on the dining table: An enemy will emerge. If the dreamer eats from them, hostility will break out.
• A dead person giving bread to the dreamer: Money or welfare from an undesirable source.
• A dead person taking a loaf of bread from the dreamer to let it fall in the fire on tar or in an empty place: The dreamer’s sick wife, if any, will die or lose faith.
• Seeing bread above the clouds, on a rooftop, or high in a palm tree: The price of bread will go up.
• Bread on the ground and people stepping on it: A huge, thankless man who promotes luxury.

Staff If one sees himself hitting the ground with his staff in a dream, it means that he will have control over that land, preside over its people, or triumph over the landlord. If one turns into a staff in his dream, it means a quick death. A broken staff in a dream represents a sickness that will lead to debilitation and complete loss of power. A staff in a dream also means giving orders, victory over one's enemies, or attainment of one's goals. If the staff is made from a branch of a palm tree in a dream, it means isolation. Hyacinth It is said that any flower from the lily family may represent death when presented to a sick person in a dream. A healthy hyacinth plant in the ground means a beautiful son, or good words. A garland of hyacinth flowers in a dream means honor. A hyacinth flower salesman in a dream represents a worrisome person, for such flowers do not remain long in his possession. If any of the flowers of the lily family are cut, or made into a bouquet in the dream, then they mean sorrow, and if they are seen on their mother plant, they mean happiness, a husband or a son. Hill (Elevation) In a dream, a hill represents a powerful and a dangerous person. Any construction surrounding such a hill represents one's wealth. If one sees a flat land adjacent to a discarded high ground or a hill in a dream, such a hill represents a rich man whose wealth compares to the size of the surrounding property. A valley of green pasture surrounding a hill in the dream represents his strength, justice in method of dealing with others, or it could mean religious devotion.
