Apples It symbolises a man's trade, his income as well as his courage. Hence, if a king sees himself eating it, it symbolises his kingdom. If a trader sees it, it symbolises his trade. Therefore, if a person sees himself as acquiring or eating one, it means he will acquire wealth proportionate to the freshness, taste and extent of the apple he has eaten : if it was sweet, the wealth will be excellent; if fresh, it will be of good quality; if little, he will acquire little; if a great deal, he will acquire it in abundance. Dwellings The spaciousness or tightness of one's dwellings in a dream represents his finances, knowledge, sharing, hospitality and generosity. If one's own dwellings looked renovated in a dream, it means regaining or developing one's business for the better. Its fresh paint means fulfilling one's religious commitments. Its tiles or marble floors represent his pleasures or wife. Dwellings of solid iron cast means longevity and authority. Room The room symbolizes prestige, a high-class woman, or the dissipation of fear in view of the Quranic verse: “… and they will dwell secure in lofty rooms.” (“Saba” [Sheba], verse 37.) It could also allude to Paradise in view of another verse: “They will be awarded the room (high place) forasmuch as they were steadfast, and they will meet therein with welcome and the word of peace” (“Al-Furqan” [The Criterion], verse 75) , or the mosque’s pulpit, for etymological reasons. Gutter of Mercy (Mizaab) If one sees the Gutter of Mercy in a dream, which is located on the roof of the Holy Kabah in Mecca inside a mosque or a house in a dream, it carries the same interpretation as that of seeing the Well of Zamzam in a dream. Standing under the Gutter of Mercy at the Holy Kabah in a dream means that one's wishes will come true, and particularly if pure fresh water pours through it. I said: 'Glory be to Thee, Oh my Lord.' God Almighty added: 'Who are the people of the Qur'an?' I said: 'Those who memorize it, my Lord?' He said: 'Indeed. Such people. I am on their side until they meet with Me on the Day of Judgement. When they come before Me, I shall raise them a station for each verse they learned.'" Facing one's enemy in a dream also means befriending him. If one is threatened by his enemy in a dream, it means that he will win the upper hand. Sprout (Garden greens; Leguminosae) A fresh sprout in a dream means distress, but if it is dry, then it means a good harvest, or clean money which is earned with joy. Spider In a dream, a spider represents a malicious woman, or a weak, perfidious and a distant man. A spider in a dream also represents a weaver, an ascetic or a monk.
