Hand • Walking on one’s hands: The dreamer relies on his relatives in certain matters.

Dry Grass Dry grass serves as a harbinger for receiving gold in the near future, Ibn Sirin (RA) used to refer to grass as pure gold. One, when he was presented with a camel load of dry grass, he looked at it for a long time, then said: “I wish I had seen this in my dream!”, for then he would have received gold. • Finding beads: (1) Money and gifts from God, as many gifts as beads. (2) A beneficial trip.
• Finding white beads: Will get a good servant who fears the wrath of God.
• Finding green beads: Will have a pious servant.
• Finding black beads: Will obtain the services of a nonreligious, corrupt, and unkind servant.

Silver The bracelet and the anklet symbolize the husband or marriage, in particular. For men they represent sorrow. Lady’s jewels could also refer to their children, since mothers are proud of them. Gold is a reference to boys and silver to girls. Likewise, whatever is masculine refers to boys and anything feminine to girls. Certain interpreters hate to hear about silver in view of the etymology of the word—in Arabic feddah from fadd or yafeddo, meaning “to disperse” or “to deflower.” In general, silver is hoarded money. An alloy of silver and gold is a beautiful white girl or slave girl (or servant in the modern sense), because silver is part of the essence of women (according to the ancient Arabs). European • Seeing Europeans (Arabic: Ferenj): Relief, success, and victory, because the Arabic word for it comprises the letters f, r, and j, which together give the sound faraj, meaning “relief.”

• Going to a grave and digging the earth with one’s nails or trying to unearth the dead: Will probe the life of the dead dwelling in that grave to follow his pattern.
• Finding a dead person alive in his grave: Will become wise and pious and achieve orderly gains.
• Going to a graveyard to unearth the dead and finding some of them alive and others not: Terrible deaths will occur in that spot or country.

Resuscitate (Live Again) • Marrying a resuscitated woman, abstaining from touching her, but settling in her house: Will die.
• Finding a dead person alive in his grave: Will become wise and pious and achieve orderly gains.
• Going to a graveyard to unearth the dead and finding some of them alive and the others not: A bloodbath will take place in that spot or country.

Silver • Seeing one’s wife wearing two earrings of gold and silver or one of gold and the other of silver: The dreamer will divorce her. A man once went to a dream interpreter and told him, “I dreamed that my wife was wearing a ring, half gold and half silver.” The interpreter said, “You divorced her twice, and there remains only the last time.” “Yes,” conceded the man.
• A man seeing himself wearing a silver earring: He will memorize all the Holy Quran. If the man is honest, he will have beautiful maids, in view of a verse in the Holy Quran that says: “Round about them will serve, (devoted) to the, youths (handsome) as pearls well-guarded.” (“Al-Tur” [The Mount], verse 24) , and other verses that say: “And (there will be) companions with beautiful, big, and lustrous eyes, like unto pearls well-guarded.” (“Al-Waqiah” [The Event], verses 22–23.) Ambergris - The Essence Of A Perfume Ambergris symbolizes benefits and good reputation.
• Finding or being given ambergris: Benefits as much as amber was seen.
• Finding plenty of ambergris: Will snatch a high post or achieve one’s ambitions through endeavours.
• Giving ambergris to someone: Will benefit such a person.
• Losing ambergris: Will lose as much money or assets.

Ring • Taking a gold ring from the Lord: Bad omen. Similarly bad are rings made of iron, the latter being the ornament of those who reside in Hell, and rings made of copper whose name in Arabic is nahhas, from nahs, meaning “bad luck” or “a jinx.” One more reason, adds Ibn Siren, is that copper is the metal used in manufacturing the rings of the jinn.
• Taking a silver ring from the Holy Prophet or from a religious scholar: The dreamer will acquire learning. In case the ring was made of silver, iron, or copper, the dream would have a very negative interpretation.
• Wearing a ring: Renewal of what the ring refers to, depending on its alloy or composition.

Torah • A bachelor seeing the Torah: • (1) Will marry a girl or woman from another ethnic group. • (2) Will travel extensively, because the Torah comprises several asfar (scriptures or holy writings, plural of safar, which in Arabic is a homonym for travel). • (3) Might marry an emancipated woman or one without a legal guardian.

Mole (zool.) A mole in a dream means blindness, uncertainty, unavoidable circumstances, disappearing from social circles, or it could mean incompetence in one's field. A mole in a dream also could mean having sharp hearing, or correcting one's vision if one happens to have hearing disability or sight problems. If a mole is seen beside a deceased person in a dream, it represents hell-fire. Seeing a mole in a dream also may indicate finding support in mundane endeavors. Gilder (Gold leaf) In a dream, a gilder represents a decorator, someone who makes things attractive and pleasant or someone who coats things with sugar. In general, a gilder in a dream represents someone who is truthful in his words and actions. If a gilder overlays gold leaf over the cover of a book in a dream, it means that he is lying, falsifying things, innovating and that he is a heedless person who loses his money in loathsome entertainments, corruption, or it could mean that he works for a religious institution. Throne Of Almighty God The Divine Throne might symbolize the good or bad deeds of the dreamer. By a game of anagram, it might also refer to trembling and related disease, to poetry, and to hair, because, in Arabic throne is arsh, poetry sheer, and hair shaar. It is always the sounds a, r, and sh that form the four words. They are all consonants in Arabic; the vowels are not written, but only guessed according to the meaning of the sentence. Well Finding a well adjacent to a barmaid in a dream means finding a spiritual teacher, or joining a fellowship and a school for the seekers. If one sees the well of Zamzam quenching the thirst of people in a particular neighbourhood other than Mecca in a dream, it means that a gnostic will come to that town, and whose knowledge and wisdom will greatly benefit its people. It also may denote the bounty and blessings which are imparted to that town, or it could denote the victory of its people over their real enemy. Pearl Finding a pearl in a dream also means finding a wife. Borrowing a pearl from someone in a dream means begetting a son and giving him for adoption, or that the boy will die shortly after his birth. As for a merchant, it means a growing business, and for a craftsman in a dream, it means advancement in his craft. Army's flag (Banner; Flag) In a dream, the flag of an army represents a pious man, a scholar, a religious doctor, a spiritual leader, an ascetic, or a rich and a generous person who is an example to others. A red flag in a dream means war, while a yellow flag means a plague. A green flag in a dream means a blessed journey, while a white flag means rain.
