Narration A person revealed to Imaam Jafar As-Saadiq (RA) his dream: “ I saw the sun rising from my body”. The Imaam Interpreted the dream thus: “You shall be given abundant wealth and treasures by the king orruler and they will also confer honour upon you”. Another person revealed his dream to the Imaam saying: “I saw the sun rising upon my feet and not any other part of my body”. The Imaam interpreted this dream thus: “ Wherever you travel, you shall receive from the king or governor. Wheat, dates and the produce of the land as your livelihood. Sweets Eating sweets in a dream also means suffering from cold symptoms. Though, eating fermented sweets or preserves in a dream may represent a cure. If a sweet is made from the basic four ingredients (i.e., honey, sugar, flour and manna or dates, or other fillings) in a dream, it means happiness, longevity, or escaping from the consequences of a dangerous business one ventures in with greed. As for a believer, eating sweets in a dream means tasting the blessings of one's faith, though for a disbeliever, it means indulging in the pleasures of this world. Palm Tree The dry palm tree symbolizes a hypocrite.
• Cutting a palm tree: The death of a great and knowledgeable man and/or his children.
• Owning many date-palms: (1) For a ruler, an additional province or more power. (2) Good business for the merchant. (3) Gains for the market dealer.
• Strong winds uprooting palms: An epidemic will erupt in the area, or God or the ruler will punish the people and make them suffer.

Tree The tree symbolizes religion and sects in view of the allegory in the Holy Quran of the good tree (date palm) and the good words: “Seest thou not how Allah coineth a similitude: A goodly saying, as a goodly tree, its roots set firm, branches reaching into Heaven.” (“Ibrahim” [Abraham], verse 24.) Likewise, the Muslims Holy Prophet likened the good tree to the Muslim. Palm Tree The date palm symbolizes the knowledgeable man and his children, tribe, or folk. It specifically refers to a noble, honest, and esteemed Arab who likes to benefit people, perhaps a scholar. It also means long life. However, the trunk of a palm is a bad augury. It symbolizes torture in view of a Quranic verse: “ (Pharaoh) said: Ye put faith in him before I give you leave. Lo! he is your chief who taught you magic. Now surely I shall cut off your hands and your feet alternately, and I shall crucify you on the trunks of palm tree, and ye shall know for certain which of us hath sterner and more lasting punishment.” (“Ta-Ha,” verse 71.) Nipple The nipple of the female breast in a dream represents one's personal wardrobe, or it could mean marriage. If water or milk comes out of it in a dream, it means finding a compatible husband. Otherwise, it may mean loss of a child or a sister. Dream Interpreter: Ibn Sirin
Henna If one's hands are tattooed with henna in a dream, it means that he cheats to acquire his earnings. Eventually, he will be exposed and his opponents will rejoice at his misfortune. If a woman sees her entire body dyed with henna in a dream, it means having a good relationship with her husband. If after applying the henna to her hands, the dye does not work in a dream, it means that her husband does not show his love for her. If only the fingers are dyed with henna in a dream, they then represent branches of dates, or clusters of grapes. In general, dyeing one's hands and hair with henna as a makeup in a dream represents joy for the husband and wife as long as they do not exceed the common norms. Underground granary If the stored grain turns into dirt in a dream, it means that market prices will come down, or it could mean the loss of one's investment. Seeing a granary filled with food in a dream means that one's wife is pregnant. If a fire consumes the stored grain in a dream, it means rising prices. If one sees a granary filled with sugar or dates in a dream, it means that prices will stabilize and become attainable, while the type of food stored therein will be in limited supplies and consequently, its price will rise. If a sick person falls into an underground granary in a dream, it means his death, or drowning in the sea, or facing a highway robbery. Buckthorn tree (Genus Zizyphus; Jujube tree; Lotus tree; Shrubs) In a dream, this warm climate buckthorn family tree that grows date like fruit represents a noble and a generous woman, or a noble and a generous man. The greener is its color, the greater is such a person. Seeing the buckthorn tree in a dream means rising in station, developing piety and gaining knowledge. Oars (Paddles) Oars in a dream represent the movement of a ship, or they could mean having a secret affair. Oars in a dream also mean reaching safety, or finding a helping friend. (Also see Boat; Ship) Dream Interpreter: Ibn Sirin
Dye If one sees his dyed hands wrapped or bandaged in a dream, it means that he will lose a trial or a fight with his rivals, or that he will fail to meet such a challenge again. Dyeing only the finger with henna in a dream represents branches of dates or clusters of grapes. In general, dyeing one's hands with henna or one's hair with regular dye as a makeup in a dream represents joy for the husband and wife as long as they do not exceed the norms. Dyeing one's hands and feet in a dream means redecorating one's house. If a poor person sees himself dyeing his hands or hair in a dream, it means that he will cover up the loss of his ablution during prayers or during his reading of the Holy Quran or during other ritual occasions where he is required to have ablution before proceeding. Wending one's way (Direction) To wend one's way, or to take the road, or to go in the direction of the door in a dream means establishing the course of one's life on the basis of righteousness, or finding the real cause of things, or it could mean success, depending on how close one gets to his goal in the dream. Generosity (Horse; Kindness) Generosity or open handedness in a dream means acknowledgment of Allah's favors and expressing one's gratitude for them. Mouse • Obtaining mouse skin: Will get some money, not much, from a debauched woman.
• Throwing arrows or stones at a mouse: Will backbite a licentious woman or exchange correspondence with her on an unholy matter.
• Catching a mouse: Will outsmart a woman and sleep with her. A man who saw himself penetrating a mouse and coming out with a date from its ass asked Ibn Siren about the meaning of such a dream. “Are you married to a corrupt woman?” asked Ibn Siren. “Yes,” said the man. “She will give birth to a devout son.”
• A mouse coming out of one’s rectum: A thankless woman will get out of the dreamer’s life.

Swine • Riding on a swine: Will have power and influence and triumph over enemies.
• Walking like a swine: Will have a dear child.
• Pork meat—cooked or grilled: Illicit money.
• Finding a sow in one’s bed: Will make love to an atheist.

A Dream Interpreted As The Battle Of Uhud Narrated Abu Musa: The Prophet (Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam) said, "I saw in a dream that I was migrating from Mecca to a land where there were date palm trees. I thought that it might be the land of Al-Yamama or Hajar, but behold, it turned out to be Yathrib (i.e. Medina). And I saw cows (being slaughtered) there, but the reward given by Allah is better (than worldly benefits). Behold, those cows proved to symbolize the believers (who were killed) on the Day (of the battle) of Uhud, and the good (which I saw in the dream) was the good and the reward and the truth which Allah bestowed upon us after the Badr battle. Pear The pear tree symbolizes a foreigner who flatters his family or folk to obtain money.
• A sick person dreaming of eating pears: Will recover.
• A woman dreaming of having a basketful of pears: Will conceive and give birth to a boy.

Palm tree (Date palm) A palm tree in a dream represents a sire, a scholar, a noble man or a wise man who imparts his knowledge and wisdom to others. Cutting a palm tree in a dream means the death of such a man. Seeing a plantation of palm trees, or an oasis or palm trees in a dream mean leading people and guiding them on the straight path. If a merchant or a trader sees a palm tree in his dream, it means business success. If a shopkeeper sees a palm tree in his dream, it also means profits. A dead and dried out palm tree in a dream represents a hypocrite. Cleaner If one sees himself cleaning the road to Mecca in a dream, it means that he will perform a pilgrimage. Cleaning through a grass field without knowing the owner in a dream means becoming a renunciate. Cleaning the floors of someone's house in a dream means finding how he is doing.
