Jesus Christ • Seeing the Holy Christ in a city or a mosque looking at the people there: Their hardships and difficult tests will be over because, says Al-Nabulsi, Jesus incarnates the spirit of God and His compassion.33
• Jesus appearing at a place: The place will be blessed, justice will prevail therein, the pagans will be destroyed, and the devout will triumph.

Sky In Arabic, there is only one word for sky and heaven, the same as in French. The sky symbolizes the king’s court and his entourage, which are as difficult to reach as the sky is (or used to be in ancient times).
• Anything falling from the sky, be it good or bad: That thing will come from Heaven.
• Climbing to the sky on a ladder: The dreamer will be dignified and reap benefits from the king.
• Climbing to the sky without any ladder or stairs: The dreamer will be disappointed and terrorized by the sultan. If the dreamer’s intention is to overhear, he will spy on the sultan and break into his palace or treasury to rob him. In case he reaches the sky, he will succeed. The reverse is also true.

Beard • The part between the lower lip and the chin represents the man’s asset (s), which he prides himself on.
• Seeing one’s beard half-shaven: Will become poor and unimportant.
• The beard being shaved by an unknown young man: The dreamer’s prestige will be shaken or completely destroyed by an enemy whom he knows, his homonym, or his counterpart.
• The beard being shaved by an old man: Prestige will disappear to a certain extent.

Closet (Safe) In a dream, a closet represents one's wife, a hide-out, protection or a veil. If one sees his closet destroyed in a dream, it may mean the death of his wife. A closet in a dream also represents a made, keeping secrets, confidentiality or intimacy between husband and wife, protecting the reputation of chaste women, beautiful garments or it could represent the day and the night. Makkah • Being in a house in Mecca (Makkah) in which the dreamer stayed before: The renewal of a mandate.
• Being in Mecca (Makkah) with the dead: Will die as a martyr.

• Leaving Mecca (Makkah) behind one’s back: Will be separated from or quit one’s chief.

Boiled vegetables (Blanched; Boiled eggs; Poached; Stew) In a dream, boiled vegetables, eggs, meat or poached eggs, etcetera, signify fast coming earnings, or a profitable business. Boiled vegetables in a dream also mean paying one's debts, an unanticipated arrival of some thing expected to happen later, celebrations, a wedding or distress, sorrow or poverty. Cooking mixed vegetables with milk in a dream means mixing lineage, or marriage from a different tribe, or it could mean starting a new and a good tradition. Book If he is depressed, it means that he will be able to dispel his worries. If he is travelling in a foreign country, it means that he will find a way back to his mother land, where he will find happiness again. Carrying a book or a letter in one's left hand in a dream means that he has done something bad, or something which he will regret. Carrying a book in the right hand denotes a prosperous year. If a stranger takes one's book away from him in the dream, it means that someone will take away from him his most precious and endeared thing. Dragon The dragon symbolizes a male enemy who conceals his animosity. If it has several heads, it means that such an enemy is an expert, a virtuoso in meanness, evil, and sordid actions. Each of its heads is a calamity or a vicious art. If it has seven heads (like the Hydra destroyed by Hercules in Greek mythology), that enemy has no pair in his evil and hostility and no one can tolerate him. Transformation (Changing form) Transformation by substitution in a dream where one thing is converted into something else. If a withered tree is transformed into a blossoming one in a dream, it means political changes, changes in worldly conditions, or reversal of conditions from good to bad, or from bad to good. This element includes the transformation of inner substances or physical ones. For example, if sees himself as an old person in a dream, when in real life he is young, it means progress in his spiritual life and gaining honor. Apricot It is also said that an apricot tree in a dream represents a hypocrite, because yellow in a dream means illness, and hypocrisy is an illness. An apricot tree in a dream also represents a wealthy woman. Plucking apricots from a tree in a dream also could mean marrying such a woman. Harvesting any fruit bearing tree in season in a dream means pleasures and work, except for the mulberry tree, for here it means toiling, hardship or waste of time. Plucking apricots from an apple tree in a dream means impressing unjust rules upon others. In general, a yellow colored fruit in a dream signifies illness. A sower tasting fruit in a dream signifies distress and sorrow. Apricot in a dream also signifies fear, bringing things under control, things returning to normal or it could even mean pleasant gains. Slave The Arabic word for slave girl is jariyah: The running one or the running thing or matter, from jary, running. It follows that her sight in the dream is a good augury inasmuch as she appears pretty, well dressed, and perfumed, heralding something good coming. But it could also mean a transient intrigue or plight.
• Owning, buying, or being offered or sleeping with a slave girl or seeing one coming to the dreamer: (1) The return of or some news or a letter from an absent person. (2) Better winds (for a sailor). (3) Business success. (4) Smooth livelihood (for someone experiencing some hardships).

Incident - a king trying to Annihilate the Muslims The Alim said to the king that he would interpret the dream only if he guaranteed their safety which he did. The learned Alim interpreted the dream thus; “O king, I see no wisdom in your wanting to kill the Muslims and marching on them for this purpose. Please do not deploy your army for they will not return to you alive. They will be defeated and destroyed. And do not for one moment think that I give this interpretation because I am a Muslim”. The king asked him for proof to which he replied that the Holy Book of Allah was the source for his proof. Village If a village is completely destroyed by fire, or floods, or freezing temperature, or by locusts, or plagues in one's dream, it means suffering under the oppression of an unjust ruler or a tyrant, or it could mean destroying an anthill. Moving from a village into a city in a dream means leaving one's toiling and hardships behind him. Bier The bier symbolizes a good man who has helped many people repent.
• Seeing a bier: Mean people will be destroyed by a hypocrite.
• Seeing oneself on a bier: (1) Money will increase. (2) Will befriend other Muslims as if they were brothers, in view of the fact that the bier is a kind of bed or couch—the same Arabic expression used in the Quranic verse that reads: “And We remove whatever rancor may be in their breasts. As brethren, face to face, (they rest) on couches raised.” (“Al-Hijr,” verse 47.)
