Cemetery • Seeing a cemetery: (1) Fear for a person who feels safe and vice versa. (2) Prayers and aspirations. (3) Repentance. (4) A reference to the Hereafter, as a cemetery is the gateway to it; to the asylum; to asceticism; to weeping; to preaching; to death, since a cemetery is the house of death; and to atheist and heretic places or the dwelling of aliens in a Muslim country, since a cemetery houses the dead and death, according to the rules of interpretation, means religious corruption. Likewise, a cemetery could refer to those who indulge in luxury; brothels; bars where drunkards lie like the dead; the homes of those who fail to pray and remember God or do any good; and prison, for the dead is locked in his grave like the prisoner in his cell. Reckoning If a person sees himself questioned, probed and investigated in a court by people he does not recognize in the dream, it means that he has strayed into innovation, and that he will remain accountable for his actions. If he sees them well dressed and fragrant, congratulating him and greeting him with the salutation of peace; " As-Salamu Alaikum ", then it is an indication of his righteousness and good deeds. Shroud Or Mortuary Winding Sheet • Dreaming of being wrapped in a shroud like the dead, except for the head and feet, which remain uncovered: Religious corruption or simply things will go wrong.
• Weaving a shroud for a dead person: The dreamer will do something good in memory of the deceased or in favour of his offspring as much as the winding sheet was big, beautiful, or valuable.
• Weaving a shroud for a living person known to the dreamer: Hardships and trouble for the latter.
• Weaving a shroud for a person dreamed of as unknown but alive: Good augury.

Jump • Jumping to cross a river, a pit, or a well, et cetera, and succeeding: A change for the better and will be saved from some evil and reach the safe shore very quickly.
• Jumping but staying late in that jump till withering away: Will die.

Bragging In a dream, bragging represents a tyrant, an unjust person, or an aggressor. If the person seen in a dream is already dead, it is a warning for his family. It also means failure to satisfy one's religious obligations. If the person noted in the dream is sick, then it means that he may be nearing his death. Embrace The embrace symbolizes: (1) Long life. (2) Love and cordiality. (3) Good words. (4) Travel. (5) The return of an absent one. (6) The end of worries. (7) Sex.
• Embracing a dead person: Will have a long life.

Gathering Seeing a group of people gathering in a dream may represent business losses or a trial that will end in mercy and success. If one sees a group of people surrounding the corps of a dead, or visiting a sick person, or standing around his bed in a dream, it means relief and success. Stair • A sick or troubled person going down the staircase: (1) If he lands in a place he knows such as his house or on chopped straw or anything that alludes to the riches of this world: The dreamer will recover. (2) If he lands in an unknown place, in a well or a hole, or among dead people he knew or on a palanquin or a saddle of a travelling animal, et cetera, or on a ship that immediately sets sail, or in front of a ferocious lion that devours him or a bird that carries him away: The dreamer will die and the steps represent the days left in his life. Tree • Seeing many date palms in a garden or a fertile land and taking their fruits: Will obtain money from honest and noble people.
• A dead person sitting on top of a tree or owning one:
• If the tree is big and beautiful, the dead man is in Paradise.
• If the tree seen in the dream is ugly and full of thorns or black and filthy, like the Zachum oil tree or the thorn tree, he is being tortured in Hell. Dream Interpreter: Various Islamic Scholars
House As for the door’s lock and handle they symbolize the wife or the servant. The supports of the door are the male children, the slaves or servants, or the brothers and assistants. For Ibn Siren, the keyhole is the dreamer’s ear, meaning probably the house servant who reports everything to the master. The unknown house is the Hereafter, especially if it has a revealing name like Darussalam (The House of Peace).
• A sick person seeing himself in an unknown house: Will die peacefully.
• A healthy person seeing himself in an unknown house: (1) Will go to Mecca (Makkah). (2) Will engage in Jihad or Holy Struggle. (3) Will become ascetic. (4) Will acquire learning. (5) Will endure hardships with stoicism. (6) Will give alms.
• Building a new house: (1) If ill, the dreamer will recover and become healthy. (2) If there is a sick person in the house, that person will recover, unless the dreamer is in the habit of burying the dead in his house, in which case the new house would mean the tomb of that patient. The same bad interpretation would apply if the house was built in an impossible place, if it was painted in white, or if funereal flowers were seen in the dream. (3) If a bachelor, the dreamer will get married. (4) The dreamer will find a husband for his daughter and let her stay with him, if the girl is old. (5) The dreamer will have a concubine. Egg • Eating eggshells: The dreamer is a graverobber.
• Dreaming that wife has laid an egg: She will give birth to an atheist, in view of Quranic verses addressed to atheists and comprising examples of God’s might and miracles, such as: “… he bringeth forth the dead from the living” (“Al-Rum” [The Romans], verse 19.)
• Putting an egg under a hen that cracks to give way to chicks: A dead matter will be revived, and a pious son will be born to the dreamer or as many sons as there were chicks, in view of the Quranic expression in the same verse: “He bringeth forth the living from the dead….”
• Placing eggs under a cock, which is hatched to give chicks: A tutor will arrive for the young boys.
• Breaking an egg: Will deflower a virgin. If the dreamer fails to break it, he won’t be able to pierce the hymen. Dream Interpreter: Various Islamic Scholars
Angel • Angels greeting the dreamer: Will be gifted with foresight and a happy ending.
• Seeing oneself as an angel: (1) If facing hardships: Relief will come. (2) If a bondman: Will be freed. (3) If an honest person: Will rise to leadership. (4) If a patient: Will die.
• A Jew seeing angels praying for him: Will embrace Islam in view of the Quranic verse: “He it is Who blesseth you, and His angels (bless you), that He may bring you forth from darkness unto light; and He is Merciful to the believers.” (“Al-Ahzab” [The Clans], verse 43.) Angels If one becomes an angel in a dream, it means tat he will receive honor, power, overcome his adversities, dispel his distress and win his freedom, or it could mean that he will rise in station. If one sees the angels greeting him and shaking hands with him in a dream, it means that Allah Almighty will endow him with wisdom, clarity and insight. Illness Having an illness in a dream represents a sickening character, or a hypocrite. Finding oneself ill in a dream means enjoying a good health for that year, or it could mean loss of devotion and lack of piety. If a warrior finds himself sick in a dream, it means that he will be wounded. If one sees his wife sick in a dream, it means that she is negligent of her religious obligations. If a sick person sees himself riding an ox, or a swine in a dream, it means his death. A feverish illness in a dream means pressure caused by a ruler. Feeling sick, or feeling down with an undiagnosed illness in a dream means spending money, or wasting it in ways other than on Allah's path. Resuscitate (Live Again) • Marrying a resuscitated woman, abstaining from touching her, but settling in her house: Will die.
• Finding a dead person alive in his grave: Will become wise and pious and achieve orderly gains.
• Going to a graveyard to unearth the dead and finding some of them alive and the others not: A bloodbath will take place in that spot or country.
• A pharaoh resuscitating and ruling a country: Tyranny or corruption will prevail and the people’s condition will deteriorate. Dream Interpreter: Various Islamic Scholars
Paradise • Seeing oneself in one of the castles of Paradise: The dreamer will become a chief or marry a beautiful maid.
• Having sex with the heavenly women while the children or young men of Paradise are roaming around: The dreamer will have a realm of his own and plenty of welfare.
• Seeing Radwan, the Custodian of Paradise: The dreamer will be happy as long as he lives.
• Angels coming to the dreamer and greeting him in Paradise: (1) The dreamer will be patient in a matter that will earn him Paradise. (2) Happy ending. Dream Interpreter: Various Islamic Scholars
Flying • A horseman dreaming of flying: Good horsemanship.
• Dreaming of flying on a stretcher, a litter, a bed, or the like: (1) Legs will be affected by a severe ailment. (2) Will become very ill. (3) Will die.
• A dead person flying: Will escape danger.
• A bier flying and people with it: (1) A chief or a scholar will die without anybody knowing about it. (2) A great man will die in a foreign land, during a pilgrimage, or in a battle for the sake of Allah (Jihad). (3) If the dead man on the bier is identified, it means that man in particular. Palm Tree One palm tree is a reliable and powerful friend. It could also refer to an honest woman famous for her charity. The palm branches or leaves symbolize more children and progeny. They could also allude to women’s hair. Its clusters mean money in view of the Quranic verses: “And lofty date-palms with ranged clusters, provision (made) for men; and therewith We quicken a dead land. Wash It could also refer to an honest man who brings back to the right path many people who had gone astray or were misleading others.
• Lying on a mortuary washing table: Promotion and the end of worries.
• One or more dead persons requesting the dreamer to wash their clothes: The dreamer is requested to recall God, pray for someone, give sadaqa, or alms, settle a debt, satisfy an adversary, or carry out a will.
• Seeing someone washing the clothes of a dead person: The washer will do something good for the deceased. Dream Interpreter: Various Islamic Scholars
Stone (Rock) A discarded stone in a dream represents a dead person. It could also represent people with hardened hearts, heedless, or jobless people. It is common among the people of knowledge to describe an ignorant person as a stone. Owning a precious stone in a dream could mean buying one in wakefulness, or it may mean gaining a strong foothold over someone of the same caliber, or it could mean a marriage to a compatible person. If one sees himself petrified in a dream, it means that he disobeys his Lord, in that sense, if he is sick, it means that he may die from his illness, or he may be inflicted with a stroke that will leave him paralyzed.
