Borrowing Borrowing or lending in a dream represents the importance of, or one's need for such an object or his love for it. Thus, the enchantment which is derived from borrowing or lending an object to satisfy such things as love, attachment or need may be temporary. To borrow a bad object or something which is used for evil purpose or something one can do without, or an unnecessary thing means that one will suffer because of it, though one's sufferings will not last. Walking If one sees inanimate objects such as a tree, a rock or a mountain walking in a dream, it represents major adversities and plagues. The movement of inanimate objects in a dream also means being dogmatic about one's spiritual stand. Walking like animals in a dream means emulating ignorant people, seeking the unattainable, or being a hypocrite, unless if the animal is permissible for food, then such style of walking means offering good deeds. Butcher Buying an animal's head from a butcher in a dream means asking one's superior for a teacher for a special training, a coach, a continuing education program, or a better job. If a butcher slaughters an animal for fun in a dream, it means suspicion about one's spiritual standing. Walking in a butchers market in a dream means adversities, sufferings, a quick death for sick people, loss of wealth for rich people, or the fear of people who are under oppression, or the scare of a person in debt concerning his family or property, or the fears of a person awaiting a court judgment. It is also said that a butcher in a dream represents tyranny and bloodshed. If a prisoner sees a butcher in his dream, it means that he will soon be released from jail. Seeing a butcher in a dream also signifies safety, dispelling fears, protection, silence, vanquishing one's enemy, or it could mean meeting with a persuasive travel agent. Monk (Abstinence; Asceticism; Bat; Celibacy; Extremism; Fear; School of thought) Living a monastic life in a dream means walking away from common traditions. Becoming a monk in a dream means receiving praises, respect, or commendation, though one will become uptight because of it, or have limited resources, little money, lives meekly, have constant fears, or it could mean hiding away from people. Running away (Escape; Fear; Take flight) Running away from something in a dream means turning to Allah Almighty and seeking refuge in Him for safety and protection. Running away in a dream also could mean receiving an appointment, or it could mean repentance from a sin, or it could mean one's death. Room • Building a room on the top of the house, while the wife is crying and wailing out of disapproval and despair: The dreamer will have a second wife or a concubine. If the wife looked beautiful and was perfumed and smiling (in the dream), the dreamer will receive a promotion and be better off. A sacred person dreaming of going up to an unknown room: He will be secure or the quality of life will improve and bring about plenty of joy and happiness. If ill, he will go to Heaven.
• Climbing to an unknown room followed by a crowd: The dreamer will become a chief, a spiritual leader, et cetera.
• A bachelor dreaming of being in a room: He will marry a beautiful, wise, and religious lady.

Satan • Being followed by Satan: The dreamer’s enemy is after him, trying to lure him and bring him down in many ways, in view of the Quranic verse: “… So Satan followed him up, and he went astray.” (“Al-Aaraf’ [The Heights], verse 175.)

Pursuit If one sees himself pursued by someone in a dream, it means sorrow and distress. Pursuit in a dream also represents one's goal in life. If one is not a fugitive, then to see himself wanted in a dream means appeasement of his fears. If one sees an ugly looking person searching for him in a dream, he then represents an unwanted catastrophe, or a mishap. If one is caught by his claimant, then it means increase of his fears. Chamber (Bedchamber; Bedroom; Room; Suite) A chamber in a dream means safety, security, marriage, a newborn, or the lady of the house. Seeing a chamber from a distance means joy, satisfaction and happiness. To be inside a chamber with two or three compartments in a dream also means security. Walking scared into a room whose owner is unknown in a dream means security, safety and appeasement of one's fears. If one is sick, then it means entering paradise or recovering from his illness, rising in rank, enjoying an elevated position in the world, presiding over people through knowledge, experience, leadership or spiritual attainment. Yaaqoub (5) An absent son or a missing relative will come back, or there will be a reunion with loved ones. (5) A reference to grief, sorrow, and the loss of one’s family, especially the most cherished child; the interpreter of dreams; frequent travel; plenty of money; price increase; and lost or found objects. (6) Some wicked person will try to swindle the dreamer out of his money or drive a wedge between him and his son.

Dye As for women, dyeing means happiness, new clothing, receiving gold, or a wedding celebration. If the dye exceeds the required surface of the hands or the feet in the dream, it means being struck with fear and worries caused by one's business or friends. If a man sees himself in a dream dyeing his hair or beard with other than henna, it means that he will suffer from what he fears most. Dyeing or suppressing one's feelings for a sick person means recovering from his ailment. Dyeing one's hair black in a dream means hiding one's bad conditions, spoiling the benefits of one's deeds, or hiding one's evil intentions. Sacrificing a Sheep If a person slaughters a sheep or any other animal with the object of sacrifice or qurbani, it means he will be freed if he is a slave; or he will be released if he is imprisoned; or he will regain his strength and health if he is ill; or he will pay his debts if he is owing someone; or he will become wealthy if he is a destitute. Gray hair If a rich person sees his body covered with gray hair in a dream, it means major business losses, while for a poor person it means debts that he cannot repay. The gray hair of an unknown woman represents a drying crop. If a soldier sees his hair gray in a dream, it means his weakness or defeat in the battlefield. If a sick person sees his hair gray in a dream, it means his death and shrouding. If a person is afraid of something then sees his hair gray in a dream, it means appeasement of his fears, or amnesty given by a ruler or a judge deciding in his favor. House • A sound person building a house with concrete or clay in a place he knows: Welfare and benefits.
• A sound person building a house with concrete or clay in an unknown place: The dreamer will do or has already done something for which he will be rewarded in the Hereafter. If the house was built with bricks, gypsum, and lime, it would mean that a sin will be committed or that the dreamer has amassed a fortune through sin and will regret it in the Hereafter, owing to the fact that fire plays a major role in the manufacturing of such constructing material. The dream would have a happy ending if the dreamer destroyed the house before waking up.
• A sick person or someone who has an ill relative or friend building a house: A tomb.
• A house of unknown construction material in an unknown location and with unknown people, isolated from the rest: The Hereafter, especially if dead persons the dreamer knows are seen in it. Shaving Shaving one's hair in a dream relates to one's personal customs. If he is used to have short hair and sees himself shaving his head in a dream, it means that he will pay a fine as an atonement. If he sees his head shaved in the summertime, and if he is used to doing so, it means benefits, comfort, or recovering from a migraine headache. If one sees his hair shaved during the winter in a dream, it means difficulties, adversities, penalties, or a sickness. Shaving one's head in a dream also means paying one's dues, appeasement of one's fears, and success in one's life. Shortening one's hair in a dream also means appeasing his fears. Horse If one sees a horse whose owner is not known entering a town in a dream, it means that a noble person will enter that town and people of his trade will fear his competition or his becoming a danger to their business. If such a horse reverts his course and leaves that town in the dream, it means that a great, though unknown person from that locality will die shortly. Horses running across the streets in a dream represent a destructive rain or devastating floods. A feeble horse in a dream represents the weakness of his owner. Filth (Dirt) Dirty hair, a soiled garment, or a filthy body in a dream mean distress and worries. Dirty clothing in a dream mean sins. If the dirt comprises oil or grease in the dream, it means attachment to mundane and material objects. Washing one's clothe in a dream means repenting from sin and washing them away.
