Ring • Seeing one’s ring that was on the little finger passing to the ring finger and onto the middle finger without having done anything to change its position: The dreamer is betrayed by his wife.

Duck The duck symbolizes a woman or a slave or servant girl. It also refers to a dangerous but God-fearing man, a virtuous one, or a hermit.

Body (Dwellings; House; State) In a dream, the human body represents his state, and its strength represents his faith in Allah Almighty. If one sees himself wearing the skin of a snake in a dream, it means that he will avow his enmity toward others. If one sees himself as a ram in a dream, it means that he will beget a son from whose success he will earn his livelihood. If one sees his body turn into iron or clay in a dream, it means his death. Sheep • A she-goat talking to the dreamer: Fertility and welfare.
• She-goat wool: Money.
• A man who fears for his life, who is in jail, who has been taken captive, or who is ill dreaming of slaughtering a ram: Will be safe, in view of the legend of the Prophet Ibrahim, who was preparing to slaughter his son to obey God’s orders when the Almighty sent a ram from the sky to substitute for the son and be sacrificed instead. A warrior dreaming of slaughtering a ram: Will emerge victorious.

Digging a grave In a dream, digging a grave means getting married. Digging a grave and talking with the deceased person about one's needs in a dream means solving one's problem. Games (Amusement; Cynicism; Playing games; Playing) To play games or to act sprightly in a dream means pride, arrogance, being cynical, profanity or defiling what is sacred in one's religion and lacking reverence for it. Playing backgammon in a dream means exaltation, gaining power, honor and rank, or it could denote one's pride, arrogance and cynicism. Pharaoh However, if pharaoh looks ugly in the dream, it means that both the Imam and his congregation are good people. The same interpretation applies for any common enemy one may have. If one sees himself becoming a pharaoh in a dream, it means that he may become a leader, though it will be at the expense of his religious covenant. Bull • Buying an ox: Will conceal the defaults of kind people and brothers by speaking in their favour.
• Talking to a bull or being addressed by an ox: Hostility to a man.
• A bull falling on an individual or killing him: The death of that person.
• Being bitten by a bull: Some ailment will come.
• An ox mooing at the dreamer: Will embark on a long journey.
• A bull coming out of a small hole and trying to return to it unsuccessfully: A major statement made by a man who tries to withdraw it but is unable to.

Slave The Arabic word for slave girl is jariyah: The running one or the running thing or matter, from jary, running. It follows that her sight in the dream is a good augury inasmuch as she appears pretty, well dressed, and perfumed, heralding something good coming. But it could also mean a transient intrigue or plight.
• Owning, buying, or being offered or sleeping with a slave girl or seeing one coming to the dreamer: (1) The return of or some news or a letter from an absent person. (2) Better winds (for a sailor). (3) Business success. (4) Smooth livelihood (for someone experiencing some hardships).

Scholars If one sees a scholar who is considered to be a reference in religious knowledge, and if one accepts his admonition in the dream, though in wakefulness he does not follow this school of thought, it means that he will be tried with an adversity that will be remembered by people for sometime to come, though his testimony will be accepted by the people. If a well-known early scholar appears in one's dream when the dwellers of that locality are experiencing adversities, economic distress or a drought, it means that their calamity will be lifted. Seeing an unknown scholar, or an unknown religious doctor in a dream means that a physician or a philosopher may visit one's house. Posterior Part A man uncovering his bottom to the dreamer: Will feed the dreamer well, then turn his back to him. If that man is young and the dreamer sees his anus, he will be snubbed by the latter. In the event of an old man known to the dreamer, that person, in particular, will cause people to turn away from the dreamer. If the old man was unknown, people would turn their back to the dreamer without his knowing why or discovering the source of such an attitude.
• A man uncovering the dreamer till his posterior part appears: He will disgrace the dreamer before his folk.

Chewing gum (Losing the sense of taste; Masticate) Chewing gum in a dream means committing loathsome sins or indulging in sodomy, for the people of the Prophet Lot (Alayhi-Salam) used to chew gum. If one sees himself chewing gum in a dream it also could signify talking too much, or constantly complaining about something, or engaging in a major dispute, or sustaining an argument, or it could mean losing one's sense of taste. Fasting Fasting a votive fast or a vowed fast for the purpose of an attainment in a dream means attaining one's goal, joy and happiness. Observing a votive perpetual or an ongoing fast in a dream means undertaking a heavy responsibility or following innovation, or it could mean becoming a loner or abstaining from talking to others, or that one would only talk if the subject is beneficial to others, for fasting in a dream also means silence. Knee (Brotherhood; Health; Kneeling in prayers; Movement; Partnership; Prayers; Servants) One's knee in a dream represents his efforts, toiling, purpose and share in earning his livelihood. If the skin covering the kneecap appears healthy and flawless in the dream, it means that one's livelihood will become easier to manage, and his financial standing will become stronger. However, if the skin of one's kneecap is detached or hangs loosely in the dream, it denotes coming hardships. If the skin looks rough and swelling in a dream, it means that his hard earned money will be lost in a bad investment, and subsequently his earnings will be scarce and hard to get. Crescent (New moon) If the new crescent appears in its correct position in a dream, it means begetting a blessed son or receiving an important appointment or profits from one's business. Seeing the gathering of several crescents in a dream means attending the pilgrimage to Mecca. A red crescent in a dream means a miscarriage. If a crescent falls to the earth in a dream, it means a newborn. Seeing the new crescent when everyone else is looking an failing to see it in a dream represents one's death, or it could mean that one will be aberrant and corrupt during that year of his life. Seeing the new moon at a time other than the time of its birth in a dream means happy news, glad tidings, the home returning of a long awaited traveller or having a newborn. World It also may be interpreted as one's wife, child, material growth, business success, good harvest, awakening, victory, love, or a beloved with two faces. Whether the world appears beautiful or ugly in one's dream, it could mean any of the above interpretations. Seeing the world in one's dream also could be a divine guidance, snowing the person what he or she must see and understand in this world. If one sees himself walking away from the world in the dream, it means that he may become a renunciate. If one embraces the world in the dream, it means that he will amply satisfy his desire for it. If one sees himself running after it and the world running away from him in the dream, it means that the world will ultimately deceive him and lead him into temptation. Crow The crow symbolizes a haughty man who walks arrogantly, a miser, a corrupt person, and a liar. According to religious belief, it once was a human being but was metamorphosed as a result of a curse. In general, sight of one does not augur well. Paradoxically, it sometimes alludes to long life.
• Catching a crow: Will make illicit gains through corruption and arrogance.
• Seizing or winning a crow: Vanity and wrongdoing.
• Owning a crow: Will loot somebody or something.
• Talking to a crow: Will drown in worries, but relief will follow.

Pearl If one sees himself bartering a pearl or a gem for fake jewelry, or for chips of glass in a dream, it means that he has sold the reward of the hereafter for the temporary pleasures of this world, or that he has exchanged something precious for something worthless, or it could mean that he may commit a sin, or become an apostate. Pearls in a dream also represent the Quran, manner of proper talking, bezels of wisdom, children, servants, integrity, beauty, or money. Butcher If the butcher is a man in the dream, he then represents the angel of death. Whatever place he appears in will bear the consequences. A butcher in a dream also represents an unjust person. In a dream, if one sees a butcher who specializes in selling animal heads, he represents a guardian of people's estates, or a treasurer of a company, he also could represent adversities or death. If the animals heads cannot be identified in the dream, and if they still have their skin, hair, and are dripping blood in the dream, then it means the disappearance of the people of knowledge and that knowledge will become selectively disseminated by political leaders. Falcon A falcon in a dream represents a thief, might, victory over one's enemy, satisfying one's purpose, love to have many children, marriage, slaves, mistresses, precious stones, health, relief, or it could mean love to travel. A falcon in a dream also means cessation of life, capture, hunting, shackles, imprisonment, ties, etcetera. If it appears well trained, obedient and responsive in the dream, it means walking in the company of an important person who is surrounded with an impressive entourage. If one sees a falcon flying and gathering a flock of falcons in a dream, it means building an army.
