Nose In a dream, nose relates to the sense of smelling. It represents the element of comfort by taking in needed oxygen for the body to satisfy its needs. The immediate sense of physical tranquillity produced by inhaling through one's nose in one's dream represents liveliness and comfort. If breathing in also includes smelling a sweet fragrance in the dream, then it reflects the immediate results of one's satisfaction. Nose in a dream also represents an aspect of one's beauty, or what one adorns himself with, such as wealth, or pride he takes in his father, a son, a brother, a wife, a just partner or an employee. Chain (Complications; Longevity; Marriage; Richness; Sin) In a dream, a chain represents an old or a rich woman whose earnings are lawful. A chain in one's hand or around one's neck in a dream may mean threats, menaces, sin or disobedience. Seeing a chain around one's neck in a dream also means marriage to a woman of bad character. Orthopedist If one sees himself standing before an orthopedist in a dream because of a broken bone or another fracture and then complains about an abscess in his neck, and if the orthopedist opens that abscess with pliers to drain the puss in the dream, then it represents a debt one has to repay, or a votive offering one has to fulfill, or it could mean giving a testimony in court, or accepting the ruling of a scholar. If an orthopedist sets one's broken right arm and ties it to his neck in a dream, it means that someone will oblige him to do him a personal favor and consequently deprive him from attending other duties, or restrain him from serving other charities. If one's nose is transformed into iron or gold in a dream, it means an illness, an adversity, or a crime that one may commit. A nose in a dream also represents news, spying, buttocks, or the uterus. If one's nose shrinks in a dream, it means that he is arrogant. If it becomes crooked in the dream, it also means stupidity and humiliation. If it expands in the dream, it means stupidity. Handcuff (Fettered; Marriage; Shackled; Tied-up) If one sees his hand tied to his neck in a dream, it means that he does not pay Allah's rights upon what he earns. If one's hand is tied around his neck in a dream, it also could mean that he will desist from wrongdoing. If both hands are tied-up in the dream, it denotes his stinginess. If one is captured and handcuffed by the authorities in a dream, it means that he will be thrown into jail or fall into difficulties. Pain (Ache; Discomfort; Hurt) In a dream, pain means regret and sorrow. Suffering from a tooth ache in a dream means hearing painful words from a relative the particular tooth implies. Neck pain in a dream represents being ill-treated by one's friends. Neck pain in a dream also may indicate that one has betrayed his covenant, or that he has denied a promise. Shoulder pain in a dream signifies bad earnings. Stomach pain in a dream means spending money in sin and feeling regret for doing so. Bier • Being lifted, placed on a bier, and borne on men’s shoulders: Promotion, power, influence, and tyranny. Will ride on people’s necks and have as many followers as were seen carrying the dreamer in the dream.
• Seeing oneself on a bier without anybody carrying it: Will go to jail.
• A ruler, a chief, a merchant, or a manufacturer seeing himself on a bier rolling or gliding on the soil: Will board a ship.
• Carrying a bier: (1) If eligible, will govern a province as prominent as the people marching in the funeral procession. (2) Illicit gains. (3) Will intercede in favour of a religiously corrupt person.
• A bier flying and people holding to it: (1) A chief or a scholar will die without anybody knowing about it. (2) A great man will die in foreign land, during the pilgrimage or in a battle for the sake of Allah (Jihad). (3) If the dead man on the bier was identified, it would be him in particular. Garlic Garlic means eulogizing someone in a vulgar manner or for some obscene act or a sin.
• Eating cooked garlic: Will repent for a sin.

A Detached Hand with No Bleeding If a person sees his hand as detached without any trace of blood if a glad tiding of the observer's abstinence from sins. The same is the interpretation if a person sees himself holding his neck with both hand. Dream Interpreter: Ibn Sirin
Death Death symbolizes the loss of religious faith and divorce as well as poverty, most probably on the spiritual plane. It also means regret and repentance for a great sin. Likewise, it alludes to imminent marriage, because the bridegroom or the married person, like the dead, enjoys special care, such as washing, incense, et cetera.
• Seeing one’s corpse carried on a bier or in a coffin amid tears and sobbing after all mortuary rituals have been accomplished: Weakening faith and debauchery along with dignity and power in this world. If, furthermore, the body had been buried, it would mean that the dreamer will be completely immersed in worldly matters and lost spiritually and will die without repentance. If he comes out of the grave, he will repent. In any case, the hero of such a dream will have absolute mastery and will almost enslave or humiliate as many people as were seen carrying his bier over their necks and shoulders. He might also rule over his province or state. But for a slave burial means that he will be set free. For the custodian of something it means that whatever he is entrusted to keep will be snatched from him.
