The parapet on top of the walls represents his armies, his entourage or his ammunition and the stored provisions of the city. Barefoot In a dream, it means toiling in one's life and exhaustion. This is thus interpreted if one does not actually see himself going through the motion of taking off his shoes and walking barefooted.
