Shirt Wearing a white shirt in a dream means piety and religious assiduousness. Receiving a shirt as a gift in a dream means blessings and profits. Wearing a dirty and a torn shirt in a dream means poverty, distress and afflictions. If a woman sees herself wearing a new, large and comfortable blouse in a dream, it denotes her piety, religiousness, happiness and the enjoyment of a rich life in this world. The same could reflect the state of her husband. Wearing a green or a white shirt in a dream denotes piety. Wearing a blue shirt in a dream may not be praiseworthy. Pear Pears or plums in the right season mean benefits or the return of an absent one. Out-of-season pears or plums, if yellow, mean a disease. In general, most dream interpreters hate pears, which they regard as a reference to disease. Some of them think that pears mean a fortune, in view of the Arab etymology of the word kum-athra, whose latter part means “becoming rich.” They also believe that yellow pears mean money accompanied by a disease. Scorpion (Calamity; Misfortune) A scorpion in a dream means distress, dismay and trouble caused by a chatterer or a backbiter. A scorpion in a dream also means that one may be deceived by someone with a scorpion quality, and particularly if he uses a short haircut around the ears in the dream. A scorpion in a dream also represents a backbiter and an enemy from within one's family. If one catches a scorpion inside his own house and throws it at his wife in the dream, it means that he engages with a loathsome and a forbidden sexual relationship with her from the anus. If a scorpion attacks people in a dream, the scorpion there represents a homosexual. A yellow scorpion in a dream represents a fierce enemy, though he would have more patience in getting at his prey. A yellow scorpion in a dream also means incoming money. Killing a yellow scorpion in a dream means making a good investment that will show profits. Imitating If a woman sees herself wearing men's clothing and imitating them in their look and actions in a dream, it means progress in her life if she is dressed handsomely, and it means digress and fear if not befitting. Distraction Distraction in a dream and especially during prayers means envy and desire to rip others of their property and particularly close friends or relatives. If one is distracted during his prayers by a creeping snake or a lion in a dream, it means that he must be on his guard and cautious with his wife or child. Distraction during prayers represents one's passions, desires, or it could mean heedlessness, soliciting temporary gains and declining from the eternal benefits of the hereafter. Skin According to Ibn Siren, blackness refers to a person’s wealth. A man once came to him and told him he dreamed that his fiancee had become black and short. “Her blackness,” said Ibn Siren, “is her wealth. Her shortness, her life.” And, in fact, the man married the girl, who did not live long and whose money he inherited. Red skin is a symbol of dignity and relief, especially if it is whitish. Yellow means disease, except if the yellow is gorgeous, in which case the dreamer will be close to God in the Hereafter, if God wills. Pebbles Collecting pebbles for pelting from a marketplace, a street, under the trees, or in a farmland in a dream means receiving financial benefits. Collecting pebbles at the foot of a tree in a dream means receiving a gift from a person in authority, or profits from the sea, learning at the hand of a good teacher, a gift from a wealthy wife, or they could mean the birth of a son if one does not have a son. Throwing pebbles in the sea in a dream means wasting one's money. Throwing pebbles in a well in a dream means benefiting from a marriage or a business. Shroud Or Mortuary Winding Sheet (Also see Dress.) It symbolizes a penchant for adultery. The smaller the shroud, the closer the dreamer is to repentance, and vice versa. But interpreters differ on this point—some of them feel that the larger the shroud, the better the dream is.
• Seeing a living person wearing a shroud: The dreamer has a leaning toward adultery. If the shroud has not been worn, he is inciting others to commit adultery, but nobody responds to his calls.

Salesman Selling expensive fashion clothing and declining from taking money in a dream represents a trustworthy person who will attain a high ranking position. A fruit salesman in a dream represents a hard-working man who gives priority to his religious life over that of the world. An aromatic herbs salesperson in a dream represents a soft hearted man who cries easily, or a Quran reader who recites its verses in an emotional way that affects his listeners. Face One's face in a dream represents his state. If it appears cheerful and handsome looking in the dream, it represents glad tidings, happiness and a good life, though if it looks opaque in the dream, it means the opposite. In general, a yellow face in a dream means humiliation, loneliness, hypocrisy or illness. If a believer sees his face yellow in a dream, it denotes his devotion and fear of wrongdoing. Yellowness of the face in a dream also could mean being in love. If an African person sees his face white in a dream, it means hypocrisy, impudence and shamelessness. Burial The burial symbolizes ten things: (1) Jail. (2) Poverty or misery. (3) Travel. (4) Distance. (5) Delay or procrastination. (6) Forbidden sex. (7) Declining capacity. (8) Gloating or rejoicing at another’s misfortune. (9) Uneasiness and paucity of resources. (10) Things that turn sour.
• Attending a burial: Will receive a double reward from God.
• Being dead and buried: (1) Will embark on a long journey and earn plenty of money that will revive the dreamer’s economy, in view of verses in the Holy Quran that read: “Then causeth him to die, and burieth him; then, when He will, He bringeth him again to life.” (“Abasa” [He Frowned], verses 21–22.) Medlar tree (Crab apple; Crataegus azarolus; Mespilus germanica) Eating a bitter tasting apple like fruit of the medlar tree or any of such varieties that are also used in making preserves, or eaten yellow, spoiled, or unripened in a dream means a sickness. The more yellowish is its color in the dream, the more pain and suffering such an sickness will bring. Eating a green medlar fruit in a dream represents no such danger. Eating any yellowish fruit in a dream represents a sickness, except for citron, apples, or the lotus fruit, for their yellow color in the dream does not cause any harm, since their substance is a viable medicinal cure. Sperm • Giving or receiving sperm: A reference to something durable, which could be money, coming or going.
• Seeing sperm coming out of one’s penis: (1) Money is coming. (2) Money will be squandered. (3) Wishes will be fulfilled. (4) Comfort. (5) Will divulge a secret. (6) The dreamer’s children will die. (7) For one reason or another, wife will not be available. (8) Land will be revived if the dreamer is a landlord.
• Spreading sperm all over a woman’s body: Will offer her a dress and other attire.

Firewood Attributing the firewood to its mother tree or distinguishing its fruit in the dream means money of a doubtful source. Offering timber to burn in a religious ceremony in a dream means nearness to one's Lord, or it could mean offering a gift to one's teacher, bringing a culpable before a judge, or bringing a sick person to the doctor. In this case, if the timber burns before putting it in the fire, it means that the gift was accepted, or that a guilty person will receive a just verdict. Eating timber in a dream means earning unlawful money. A tree stump or a log in a dream means a chronic illness or paralysis.
