Bread • Eating bread without food: The dreamer will be sick without anybody looking after him and will die lonely.
• Eating bread with honey: Will seek knowledge and wisdom and be better off, because honey indicates good knowledge and bread comfortable living.
• Eating bread and salt: Contentment.
• Eating vinegar with bread: Long life.
• Eating thin (unleavened) bread: Contradictory interpretations like short life, few gains, and abundance.
• Unfinished bread: Strong fever, as this bread has to go back to the oven for completion.

Grain merchant In a dream, a grain merchant represents a man of dignity whose earnings are blessed if he does not need to sell his merchandise in the dream, but if he is eager to dispose of his merchandise, then it will bring him humiliation. If one sees the governor of his town selling grains in a dream, it means that he will lose his post. A grain merchant in a dream also represents the head of merchants, a union boss, the chief craftsperson, or a popular and a magnanimous ruler. Selling grains and not seeing the return or money in a dream represents one's ascetic detachment and gratitude to his Lord, for the real price of things is gratitude. Sleep It also means disregard for worldly attractions, or despite for its glitters. Sleeping people in a dream also represent mass annihilation, death, murders, rising prices, or it could denote things which people are unaware of. If in fact the people are unaware or uncertain about something, and if one sees them in such a state of slumber in a dream, it means that Allah Almighty will remove that blind, and they will see things clearly. Incident - Interpretations of Prophet Muhammad (SAWS) Once Prophet Muhammad (Alayhi-Salam) related a dream to his blessed companion Abu Bakr, God be pleased with him. He said: "I saw in a dream that we were climbing a ladder. At the end, I reached two steps further than you did." Abu Bakr replied: "O Prophet Muhammad, God Almighty will call your soul back unto His mercy, and I shall live two and one half years after you have departed from this world." In another dream, he said: "I saw a flock of black sheep tailed by another flock of white sheep following me." Abu Bakr replied: "The Arabs will follow you first, then others will follow them." Swim • Swimming in a valley till reaching the desired spot: Will serve and obey a tyrant and God will protect the dreamer.
• Swimming well in the high seas or in the deep: Will embark on an ambitious mission and rise.
• Being afraid while swimming: Will be jailed or get ill inasmuch as the dreamer covered a long distance. If he thinks (in the same dream) that he has escaped danger, he will die in such an ordeal. Courage means that he will really be safe.
• Swimming on the back: Will cease to indulge in sins and repent.

Vomit Vomiting a snake in a dream also means death, or distancing oneself from one's enemies. Vomiting in a dream also means wasting money on food, or unnecessary dieting for a poor person. Vomiting in a dream also has positive connotations for a poor person, but has negative ones for a rich person. If a ruler or a governor sees himself vomiting in a dream, it means that he will refund people taxes he unjustly collected from them. Jew • Seeing Jews means: (1) Mercy from God, because the Arabic word for Jew is (singular, Ya-hudi, and plural, Yahud) is a homonym of “to repent,” “to turn unto Allah.” It also resembles hoda, which means “showing the right way.” Reference is made here to a verse in the Holy Quran: “And ordain for us in this world that which is good, and in the Hereafter (that which is good), Lo! We have turned unto Thee. He said: I smite with My punishment whom I will, and My mercy embraceth all things…” (“Al-Aaraf” [The Heights], verse 156.) (2) A complicated matter will become clear. (3) Evidence will appear. (4) The dreamer will abide more closely by the Prophet’s Tradition and Islamic Laws.
• Seeing a group of Jews means the dreamer will repent.

Sprout (Garden greens; Leguminosae) A fresh sprout in a dream means distress, but if it is dry, then it means a good harvest, or clean money which is earned with joy. If one sees himself gathering a bunch of green sprouts in a dream, it denotes a warning. If one recognizes its substance in his dream, interpreting the element then goes back to its innate quality. Entering into a field of sprouts in a dream means a marriage into the family who owns that farmland, or it could mean a business partnership. Love Love, especially if ardent, symbolizes temptation; a lust for debauchery; preoccupation; deep worries; all sorts of unhappy and sad events; the inability to keep silent; frustrating; hard tests; scandals that earn the dreamer’s people’s sympathy; blindness; muteness; poverty; hunger; annihilation; various diseases; trips to remote and dangerous areas; and death (in case the subject is ill). Likewise, dreaming of being dead means that the hero of the dream is deeply in love. Resuscitating is a sign that the lover will come back. Going to Paradise means that lovers will be united. Adam • Seeing Adam as if talking to the dreamer: Will acquire knowledge
• Seeing Adam in a different color and shape than usually conceived of by the dreamer: Will move from one place to another, then return to the first place.
• Becoming Adam or acquiring one of his qualities or characteristics: (1) The dreamer will succeed the ruler, if eligible for such a privilege. (2) People will benefit from the dreamer’s knowledge if he is a learned man, or he himself will obtain unequalled knowledge.
• Seeing Adam in good shape: Magnificent welfare.
• Seeing Adam in a deteriorating condition: The dreamer’s master will be impoverished or his power will wane or the dreamer’s fortune will decrease and his craft or profession will no longer be in demand.

Book If he is depressed, it means that he will be able to dispel his worries. If he is travelling in a foreign country, it means that he will find a way back to his mother land, where he will find happiness again. Carrying a book or a letter in one's left hand in a dream means that he has done something bad, or something which he will regret. Carrying a book in the right hand denotes a prosperous year. If a stranger takes one's book away from him in the dream, it means that someone will take away from him his most precious and endeared thing. Asylum The asylum, or mental institution, symbolizes frequent travel, asceticism, the heeding of God and reading of the Holy Quran, the stoppage of income, the end of wedlock, the abandoning of children, repentances, the return of religious faith, relief from worries, and sometimes diphtheria (the suffocation disease, to borrow the expression of Al-Nabulsi). It could also represent the bathroom, as madness was believed by the ancient Arabs to be associated with demons and because, like the bathroom, the mental institution is a place where people take off their clothes, show their private parts, and exhibit repulsive manners. For some interpreters, the madhouse refers to the school, because, there, the inpatients were educated by force, in ancient times, and taught to read and write and know the Quran. Stone, Black (Also see Kabah.)
• Touching the Black Stone at one of the corners of the Kabah (the Muslims holiest shrine at the Haram Mosque in Mecca (Makkah)): The dreamer will take his lead from an imam (Muslim spiritual leader) from among the people of Hijaz.
• Removing the Black Stone from the Kabah and taking it for oneself: The dreamer will come out with a heresy.
• Finding back the Black Stone and replacing it in the Kabah after all people thought it had been lost: The dreamer thinks that he alone is right and all the rest are wrong. Dream Interpreter: Various Islamic Scholars
Tooth It could also be that the mouth represents the house and the teeth its dwellers. Teeth decaying, falling, or being lost means disappearance, hardships, or death. Their retrieval means recovery or return of the lost or absent. Teeth dashing against each other means a dispute or a controversy in the house. Sores in the mouth mean something is wrong with the family. Dirty teeth allude to the notoriety or bad reputation of the house. Plaque or the yellow incrustation on the teeth is a sign that the family is weak. Cleaning them means that money will be spent to end family worries. Ascending in the skies If one sees himself climbing a mountain, then the mountain in a dream is interpreted as one's goal. Thus, one's dream may mean attaining one's goal as far as he reaches in his climb. In dream interpretation, any ascent of a mountain, a trail, a hill, an elevation or even climbing a roof means attaining one's goal or satisfying one's needs. Divorce (Poverty) If someone divorces his wife in a dream, it means that he will be dismissed from his job. If an unmarried person sees himself divorcing someone in a dream, it means reaching a conclusion to whatever good or bad he is experiencing. As for the divorce of a married person in a dream, it means closing of his business or his death if he is bed stricken. If one sees himself divorcing his wife in a dream, it means that he will become rich, or that his life will run smoother. If one divorces his wife with the intention of returning to her in a dream, it means that he will change his trade for a short time, then engages back in it. Dream Interpreter: Ibn Sirin
Turning in one's sleep If one sees himself turning in his sleep and putting his face down, or resting on his stomach in a dream, it means that he will turn away from his faith and lose both his earnings in this world and in the hereafter. If one sees the reverse, which is turning from resting on one's stomach to lying on his back in a dream, it means that he will repent for his sins. It also represents his willingness to face the people and to correct his wrongdoing. Star Holding little stars in one's hand in a dream means acquiring fame and presiding over people. Seeing a star over one's head in a dream means becoming renowned and surpassing one's associates, or it could mean serving in a high ranking position. If one sees brilliant stars gathering in one place in his dream, it means that he will reap benefits from a business trip, or safely return home from such a successful business trip. Riding a star in a dream means leadership, strength and wealth. If one sees the stars fixed under his roof in a dream, it means a calamity, or destruction of one's house, or it could mean the death of the head of the household. Dream Interpreter: Ibn Sirin
Cemetery (Burial ground; Grave; Graveyard) Seeing a cemetery or a graveyard in a dream means appeasement and comfort for a terrified person, and dismay to a comfortable and a relaxed person. A graveyard represents the elements of fear, hope and return to guidance after heedlessness. A cemetery represents the hereafter, because it is its vehicle. A cemetery in a dream also represents the prison of the body, but in a dream, it also means seclusion, devotion, abstinence, asceticism or admonition. A cemetery also can be interpreted as the dead looking drunkard in a bar, a man laying flat in a prostitution house, the home of a heedless person who often sleeps rather than pray or a hypocrite whose deeds are not subject to receiving a heavenly reward, etcetera. Flood A flood in a dream also means blocking the roads to extremism or isolating a danger. When one sees a flood in his dream but outside of its season, it means that he is following some psychic influences or pursuing religious innovations. It also means wrath, destruction, impeachment, penalties or a plague, unless if it is falling from the skies, then it means rains and blessings. If one sees himself coming out of his home to swim into an inundated town in the dream, it means that he will escape from a ruthless tyrant. Should one fail to cross, and if he is rather forced to return to his house in the dream, it means that he should be careful about staying in that town or about disobeying his boss.
