Papers If a Allah fearing person sees himself looking at a paper written in a language he cannot decipher in a dream, it means that he will face humiliation or suffer from distress. If one is offered a wrapping paper and he finds a newborn baby wrapped inside it in a dream, it means that he will hire a servant with some strings attached to his employment. If one is given a newspaper, or a document but does not care to read it in his dream, it means that he may receive an inheritance. Truffle Up to three truffles symbolizes mean and useless or thankless individuals of either sex. Star Stars symbolize people. Those that have a masculine name represent men; those with a feminine name allude to women. Big ones refer to notables, small ones to youths, children, or slaves. The ones the Arabs used as guiding marks when they moved in the desert are the Prophet Muhammad’s companions. Stars that had once upon a time been worshipped instead of God and were thus metamorphosed, says Ibn Siren, like the Dog Star or Sirius, Venus, and Canopus, symbolize irreligious and evil persons. For a king, the stars are his soldiers and followers; for a bride or a bridegroom the stars are her or his entourage.

• Dreaming of alms giving depends on the dreamer. Such a dream made by a religious scholar or an erudite man means that he will be conveying his knowledge to others. The same dream made by a ruler means that he will be in charge of more people. To a craftsman it means that he will teach his craft to certain persons, etc.
• Giving sadaqa to the poor: (1) No more worries. (2) No more fear.

Eyebrows If the eyebrows grow extensively to nearly covering the eyes in the dream, it means changes in any of the above. Eyebrows in a dream also mean longevity. In a dream, eyebrows also indicate the state of one's spiritual standing. When beautiful, one's faith is beautiful, but when wild in a dream, it means that one's faith is deteriorating. Tears (Pearls) In a dream, cold tears mean happiness while warm tears mean sadness. Running tears over one's cheeks without crying in a dream mean slander that carries weight. Tree Ancient Arab dream interpreters said that whereas the tree referred to the man’s deeds, religion, or ego, its leaves symbolizes his character, its beauty his nice shape and clothing, its branches his brothers, relatives, folk, and beliefs, its heart his hidden essence and his secrets, its bark his appearance, skin, and all that he uses to adorn himself with, and its semen his faith, piety, assets, and life. Blindness If one's sight explodes with a lightning in a dream, it means his death. Blindness also could denote deafness, disregarding the world or renouncing it or hiding one's secrets. Flour Wheat or corn flour symbolizes whatever money the dreamer has amassed. It also refers to his children and other persons he supports.

Kohl This is a sort of eye powder or powder of antimony, a preparation of soot and other ingredients, to darken edges of eyelids. It is also used for newly born Muslims and by certain Muslim men. Kohl and its usual container made of silver or the kohl bottle symbolize women. They also refer to the sharp eye. Bracelet If a woman sees herself wearing a bracelet in a dream, it means blessings, favors and joy. A silver bracelet in a dream means increase in one's profits. Wearing a golden bracelet is also interpreted as receiving an inheritance, a marriage, or bearing a child. Garden The garden or park symbolizes the female, for it is irrigated with water. In it flowers blossom and trees bear and deliver their fruits, like the childbearing and bird process. The unknown park is the Holy Quran, which it resembles and has all the merits of a beautiful garden in the eyes and hands of learners. Its sweet and bitter fruits are the verses bearing wonderful promises and those containing threats. It could also allude to Paradise with all its promised delights. If one sees the king flying with wings in a dream, it means that his authority will spread.
