Camel • A camel entering the dreamer’s mouth or any part of his body: Will be possessed by a demon. • A camel dying in a house: The sick father of the family or the dreamer’s chief or son (if ill) will die. The camel’s flesh falling apart and its bones being scattered represent a heritage. • A slaughtered camel: Injustice. • Slaughtering a camel to eat it in a house where no one is ill: (1) Will open a store. Beard • The part between the lower lip and the chin represents the man’s asset (s), which he prides himself on. • Seeing one’s beard half-shaven: Will become poor and unimportant. • The beard being shaved by an unknown young man: The dreamer’s prestige will be shaken or completely destroyed by an enemy whom he knows, his homonym, or his counterpart. • The beard being shaved by an old man: Prestige will disappear to a certain extent. • The beard being shaved by an unknown old man: Prestige will be shattered by a haughty and crushing chief, a bastard. Pear Pears or plums in the right season mean benefits or the return of an absent one. Out-of-season pears or plums, if yellow, mean a disease. In general, most dream interpreters hate pears, which they regard as a reference to disease. Some of them think that pears mean a fortune, in view of the Arab etymology of the word kum-athra, whose latter part means “becoming rich.” They also believe that yellow pears mean money accompanied by a disease. Arrow The arrow symbolizes a messenger; correspondence; an indication; and strength and triumph over enemies. For a woman, it refers to her husband. The weaving arrow represents an emissary, a circumcised boy, long life, or clothes. • A woman seeing a reversed arrow in a quiver: A change of heart against her on the part of her husband. • Holding an arrow: Prestige, dignity, influence, and prosperity. • An arrow breaking after being launched from the bow: The dreamer will not be able to deliver a message. • Throwing arrows: Written messages. Bald Baldness symbolizes money from a higher authority that will only bring about hardships and serve no purpose. • Being bald or backbiting: The dreamer’s chief will lose part of his capital, and his power and prestige will wane. In case the dreamer has debts, this dream means that he will settle them. • The hair of the head falling, little by little, till the dreamer becomes bald: Money might go and, with it, one’s prestige. • A bald woman: (1) A year of drought. Rain • The soil “raining up” blood or stones: Sufferings. • Raining mostly blood or dust: Injustice on the part of the ruler. • Raining dust without the latter forming a screen that reduces visibility: Fertility. • Raining swords: Controversies, disputes, and perhaps a civil strife in the area. • Raining watermelons: A disease or an epidemic. • Raining all over the town: The areas inhabitants will be calumniated. • Rain pouring from all sides, uprooting trees and throwing them on the ground: intrigue and death at the hands of the ruler. Thief A thief in a dream also represents an assassin, the angel of death, a visitor, or someone asking for marriage. If there is a sick person in the house and a thief enters that house in a dream, it means the death of the ailing person. If a thief comes to one's house and takes nothing from it in a dream, it means the recovery of sick person from his illness. A thief in a dream also can be interpreted to represent a cunning person, a deceiver, an adulterer, a hunter, a backbiter, someone who asks for things that do not belong to him, a lion, a snake, a Satan, eavesdropping, or one's mind, desire and passions. If a scholar sees a thief in his dream, it means that he will learn wisdom from an anecdote. A thief in a dream also represents a liar, or the humiliation inflicted upon such a person. Wife Seeing one’s wife with somebody else means: (1) The dreamer will lose money or prestige. (2) His religious faith will be affected. Conversely, the same dream could mean that the dreamer will become self-sufficient and get all he aims for or that his wife is an industrious lady who will lead an easy life and that her family will get rich. • Seeing one’s wife proposing you take another wife or a woman: Will part from her or have an argument. • Seeing one’s wife being offered as a gift or wedded to somebody else: Will lose religious faith temporarily. • The dreamer’s wife carrying him: Benefits and wealth or, on the contrary, shame. Khimar (A piece of fabric worn by some women as part of their headdress; To conceal one's face; Attire; Cap; Garb; Mantle; Mantilla; Veil) In a dream, a Khimar represents a husband, protection or an ornament. The extent of its size shows the man's prosperity. Its finesse connotes clarity and the color white represents honor and dignity. If a woman sees herself wearing a mantilla in a dream, it means maliciousness, a bad omen, or rancor and falsehood of female companions that might cause difficulties, or separate between a husband and a wife. Tooth • Dreaming of an incisor growing over a current one: A new member will join the household. But if pain ensues, it means that the newcomer will bring about shame and troubles. • Extracting one’s teeth: The dreamer is not supporting his family or is spending unwillingly. • Throwing one’s teeth by pushing them with the tongue: The dreamer’s family will be harmed by foolish statements on the dreamer’s part. • Teeth made of gold: Good dream for a scholar or an orator; otherwise it means disease or a fire. • Having silver teeth: Financial losses. Tremble (Shake; Shiver; Tremor) Seeing one's head trembling in a dream means gaining honor and rising in station. If one's right hand trembles or shakes in a dream, it means difficulties in earning his livelihood. If one's right leg trembles in a dream, it means profits from one's family or clan. Speaking (Hearing; Language; Listening; Talking; Words) Speaking different languages in a dream means richness. The words of a deceased person in a dream are always true. The same goes for birds speaking in a dream and their speech denotes glad tidings, prosperity, knowledge and understanding. If an animal talks with someone in his dream or tells him; " I saw a dream... " then if the animal refrains from relating such a dream, it means a fight, a battle, losses, or an argument. If a dog, a panther, or a falcon speaks to someone and tells him a dream in a dream, it means glad tidings, great earnings, benefits and joy. In general, birds talking to humans in a dream mean benefits and rising in rank. If a snake speaks gently with someone in a dream, it means that he will receive benefits from an enemy. Pursuit If one sees himself pursued by someone in a dream, it means sorrow and distress. Pursuit in a dream also represents one's goal in life. If one is not a fugitive, then to see himself wanted in a dream means appeasement of his fears. If one sees an ugly looking person searching for him in a dream, he then represents an unwanted catastrophe, or a mishap. If one is caught by his claimant, then it means increase of his fears. Stairway Descending a staircase in a dream means arriving from a journey, resigning from one's job, impeachment, or it could represent a pedestrian. If one's descent leads him to his family, house, or farmland in the dream, it means money. If what he reaches at the end of the staircase is unknown, and if one meets people, or souls he does not recognize in the dream, it also denotes what we have earlier explained. If during one's climb or descent he falls into a well, or if a giant bird grabs him and flies away with him, or if a beast devours him, or if he steps into a boat that sails away as he steps into it, or if he takes a step to find himself riding an animal, or a vehicle of some type, the staircase then represents the stages of one's life and what he encountered during the journey of his life, all replayed or screened before his eyes at the point of descending into his grave, or as a book one reads after his death. If he does wake up and finds himself healthy and fit, it means that he will become a tyrant, an unjust person, an atheist and a reprobate. If one sees himself descending a staircase that leads him into a mosque, lush foliage, green fields, a fresh breeze of spring, or into a pond to take a ritual ablution to perform his prayers in the dream, it means that he will become a true believer, repent for his sins and abandon his blameworthy conduct. Otherwise, if he descends upon adverse elements such as snakes, lions, steep hills, corpses, or a field of scattered remains in a dream, then it represents major trials and adversities. Ibrahim - Abraham • A father of many children seeing Ibrahim: One of his boys will divorce. • Accompanying Ibrahim or walking beside him: (1) The dreamer will get into trouble with foes but emerge victorious and become a just ruler (authoritative man) or an imam (spiritual leader). (2) The dreamer will befriend some folk who will submit him to a hard test on their part. • Being summoned by Ibrahim and responding promptly: Elevation in life. • Being called by Ibrahim and failing to respond or the dreamer seeing Ibrahim talking to him with remonstrance's or looking sad: (1) Will fail to perform the pilgrimage to Mecca (Makkah) despite ability to do so. Stool • Passing stool in one’s bedding: (1) Will have a long illness, because only those who cannot stand up by themselves do so. (2) Will part from one’s wife. • Eating stool with bread: (1) Will eat honey with bread. (2) The dreamer is doing things inconsistent with the Tradition of the Holy Prophet. • Passing stool—not deliberately—and picking it up: Will be granted a purse of dirty money commensurate with the quantity of stool. • Passing stool in a marketplace, in a public bath, or in a very crowded area: (1) God and His angels are angry with the dreamer. Grill • Grilled poultry: Money obtained from a woman without treachery or wickedness. But if the meat was not well done, the dreamer will speak ill of her in her absence and be unfair. • Any poultry, be it grilled or fried: Honest but hard gains. • Dreaming of something which the dreamer knows is burnt in real life: Benefits through injustice. • A grilled flank: Symbolizes women (because Eve is said to have been created from Adam’s rib). It follows that the side stretching from below the head to half the body is a reference to girls and female slaves. Divorce • Definitive divorce: Will lose one’s job irrevocably or perhaps will become self-sustaining for good. • Divorcing one’s wife, then feeling jealous: Keenness to preserve her. • A bachelor dreaming of divorce: Will change his line of conduct for the better or for the worse. But it could also mean that death is near. • Divorcing an unloved partner: The dreamer will see some of his desires fulfilled. • A man dreaming that he has divorced his wife but still has others or some free women or slaves around: Will lose only part of his fortune or authority. • A religious-minded person dreaming that he has divorced his wife: Will cut himself off from worldly matters and turn ascetic. Incident - Seeing Two Sheeps fightings right next to your wife Finding nothing she chose to use a scissors rather. In her haste, she inured herself causing a deep wound on that part of her body. To confirm this, go straight to her and see for yourself.” The man went straight to his wife expressing his desire to fulfils his need. She said: “No! Not until you explain to me why you had avoided me for seven months!” He gave his explanation regarding his dream and the interpretation given by the learned Imaam. Upon this she exclaimed: “The Imaam has spoken the truth” Then she took his hand and passed it over the cotton wool covering the wound. When he ws satisfied he went back to the Imaam to report his findings. The Imaam praised and glorified Allah for having guided him to the correct interpretation of the dream. Lesbianism • A woman dreaming that she has a pair of testicles: Might bear twins. • A lady eating another woman’s flesh: Will have a lesbian experience with her or each of them will try to overpower the other physically or otherwise. • A woman having sex with another: Will confide her secrets and share the views and acts of her homosexual partner. If she does not know her lesbian mate, she will do something wrong. • A woman who has a man of her own dreaming that another female has engaged her in sexual intercourse: Will part from that man, become a widow, and as the days go by share secrets with her lesbian sex partner. • A woman dreaming that she has turned into a man: Good luck and benefit from her husband.
