Bird • An unknown bird standing on one’s head, shoulder, or neck or knees: A reference to the action or deeds of the dreamer. If the bird was white, such action is candid. The reverse is also true.
• An unknown bird standing on a pregnant woman’s head, shoulders, or knees: She will give birth to a child of the same gender as the bird. If the latter had stayed, the child would live and remain close to her. If it had flown away, it would mean the contrary.
• Owning or catching a flock of birds: Money and power, especially if the dreamer was looking after them, feeding them, and talking to them.
• Birds hovering over the dreamer’s head: Will become a leader.
• Birds flying in one’s house: Angels will visit the house. Wakefulness • Staying up very late: Will lose the dearest person to one’s heart—a family member, a child, or a lover.

Dates (Fruit; Palm tree) In a dream, dates mean money or a good message. Eating dates in a dream means earning lawful income. Dates are like money, they do not have a long shelve life. Unripened dates in a dream indicate the availability of water for those who need it. Red unripened dates in a dream may signify some type of blood disease, whereby the red cells grow to exceed in number the white cells. Dates in a dream also mean rain. Eating dates in a dream means reading the Holy Quran and reaping benefits from one's religion. Buried dates in a dream represent one's savings. Reciting Surah Ikhlaas Whoever reads it will repent for his sins and no child of his will live, for Allah Says; He does not beget nor is he begotten. Some Ulama say that its recitation in the dream is an indication that the reader will be amuwahhid (ie monotheist). Grape Black grapes during the right season symbolize fear and disease; otherwise they mean trouble and worries. They are also a harbinger of cold weather. Grapes were believed by the ancient Arabs to be harmful. They also thought that no benefit could be derived from the black color and hated black grapes in any case. Among other things, they argued that the grape was originally white, placed near the son of Nuh (Noah). When his father cursed him, it suddenly turned black. Certain dream interpreters felt that the black grape meant nothing but money that will not last. Separate from the bunch, it symbolized extreme fear or chills. Others regarded the black grape as a not so bad dream, in view of a verse in the Holy Quran: “And of the fruits of the date-palm, and grapes, whence ye derive strong drink and (also) good nourishment. Lo! therein, is indeed a portent for people who have sense.” (“Al-Nahl” [The Bees], verse 67.) Buy • Buying a male child: Very bad days are ahead.

Wadi (Valley) Seeing a ravine or a valley with a dry watercourse in a dream means going on a tiring trip, taking a long journey, or it could represent an intractable person. Seeing a wadi in a dream denotes good deeds, or making offerings to please Allah Almighty. A wadi in a dream also represents its dwellers, a tribe from that region, or its plantations. If one sees the wadi blossoming with fruit trees, fragrant flowers, a running water course, or if one hears nice words during such a dream, it means that he will rise in station, or mingle with people in power, or receive an appointment in the government, and for a righteous person, it means that miraculous events and blessings will be shown at his hands by Allah's leave. Earthquake If one sees the earth moving under his feet in a dream, then it represents one's striving and pursuit of his business needs or livelihood. An earthquake in a dream also represents exposing secrets, hearing bad news, a general scare, public disturbances, the surfacing of new diseases. If one sees the walls crumbling and caving in a dream, it means his death. Seeing an earthquake in an arable land in a dream means fertility or a good harvest. An earthquake in a dream also may mean travels, dancing, abstraction of business or having an argument with one's family. If the destruction hits the buildings in urban areas in the dream, it means business growth for construction workers, contractors or related industries. Firewood Attributing the firewood to its mother tree or distinguishing its fruit in the dream means money of a doubtful source. Offering timber to burn in a religious ceremony in a dream means nearness to one's Lord, or it could mean offering a gift to one's teacher, bringing a culpable before a judge, or bringing a sick person to the doctor. In this case, if the timber burns before putting it in the fire, it means that the gift was accepted, or that a guilty person will receive a just verdict. Eating timber in a dream means earning unlawful money. A tree stump or a log in a dream means a chronic illness or paralysis. Pear (Fruit) A pear in a dream means money, blessings, or a sickness. Eating it in season in a dream means benefits, income, or it could denote the arrival of a long awaited person. Eating pears out of season in a dream means a sickness or swelling, though if a sick person eats a pear in a dream, it means a cure for his illness, or it could mean earning unlawful money. Receiving a basket, or a plate of pears in a dream means receiving an inheritance. As for a pregnant woman, pears in a dream represent a son, and for an unmarried woman, they means marriage. Zamzam If one drinks Zamzam water after having placed an intention in his dream, for example; to acquire knowledge, grow in wisdom, become wealthy, to recover from an illness, to conceive a child, to receive forgiveness for one's sins or any lawful desire in a dream, it means that Allah willing, one's wish will come true. Vegetable Most dream interpreters do not like vegetables or legumes, pulses, and similar herbs on the ground that they contain no fats and are not even sweet. They regard them as passing trade, a hazy post, or a child or money that is not destined to survive. According to them, vegetables also symbolize transient sorrow and worries. Disobedience (Insubordination) Disobedience to Allah's commands in a dream means insubordination or indulging in sin. If one denies his act to be a sin in the dream, then such disobedience signifies that he will suffer from a severe punishment for his arrogance.
