Brain (Cerebrum) In a dream, a brain represents savings. Having an oversized brain in a dream means reason. Having no brain in a dream means ignorance. Eating from one's own brain or the marrows of one's own bones in a dream means suspicious dealing with one's own money. Eating someone else's brain in a dream means that one may die shortly or that he may steal someone's savings. Lamb In a dream, a lamb represents one's son. If one sees himself slaughtering a lamb in a dream, it means that either his son or the son of one of his relatives may shortly die from an illness or an accident. If one is offered a lamb as a gift in a dream, it means that he will beget a noble and a blessed son. If one sees himself eating lamb in a dream, it means that he will earn his money through such a son. Head • Carrying an alternative head: The dreamer is fighting a plague or trying to remedy something bad he had concocted.
• Seeing oneself having cut off people’s heads at one’s home: People will be driven to the dreamer and will come to his home of their own free will or will assemble there.
• Seeing horns on one’s head: The dreamer is an invincible man.29
• Seeing oneself with a big head: The dreamer has a big brain.
• Seeing oneself headless: The dreamer is ignorant and has little, if any, brains.

Sheep • Slaughtering a ram without knowing why, but by observing the Islamic slaughtering rites: Will unexpectedly triumph over someone or testify truthfully against him. If the Muslim rituals are not observed, it means that the dreamer will kill, torture, or commit an injustice.
• Slaughtering a lamb not for eating: One of the children of the dreamer or one of his other relatives will die.
• Being sexually assaulted by a ram: Will be harmed by the enemy, especially if it had also tossed the dreamer with its horns—in which case it would mean insult and injury.

Quince The quince tree symbolizes a wise man but whose brain is of no use to anyone, as the fruits of that tree are small. Because of its Persian name, bahy, or gaiety, the tree refers to a praiseworthy man and to welfare in any case. For a ruler or a merchant it means more power and gains. Sacrifice (Immolation) To offer a sacrifice in a dream means to fulfill one's promises, relief from difficulty, healing of the sick, or increase in one's earnings. If the one offering a sacrifice interprets dreams as a profession, then it means that he has misinterpreted someone's dream, that he gave him bad advice, or sacrificed the interest of the person in question. Sacrificing in a dream also means receiving an inheritance. If a pregnant woman sees such a dream, it means that she will bear a righteous son. Marrow In a dream, bon marrows represent hidden treasures, a library, ammunition or an inheritance. Bone marrows in a dream also mean hoarding money. Arm If one's arm is broken in a dream, it means the death of one's brother or closest friend, or it could mean an accident or a calamity. One's arm in a dream also signifies protection from sin or it cold represent his wife, his mother, his teacher, wealth, craft, source of income, a supporting son or a close brother one can depend on at times of difficulties. If one sees that his arm is missing something in a dream, it could mean that he has little brain, though he is filled with pride and haughtiness. Tomcat If the tomcat loses the fight, and if the man is already sick, it means that he will recover from his illness shortly thereafter. Otherwise, if he loses in the dream, it means that his illness has reached its peak. A cat or a tomcat in a dream also represent reckoning, estrangement of one's wife, her roughness with her husband, or they could represent ill behaved children with their parents, fights, theft, adultery, lack of loyalty, eavesdropping, taunting, roaring, clamor, a bastard son, a foundling or an orphan. On the other hand, a cat in a dream could represent a toadying person, dancing, being playful and kind, though awaiting to jump at the first opportunity to spoil others peace. If the cat, the tomcat and the mouse, or the lamb and the wolf become friends in the dream, it means hypocrisy, affectation and loss of moral standards. Lying (Blunder; Lies; Tell a lie) Lying in a dream means giving false testimony in court, fabricating a lie, slandering someone, or it could mean constant failure in one's life. Lying in a dream also means talking nonsense, or letting one's imagination do the talking, or spreading a sharp idea. If someone hears that in a dream, and if he spreads the word, then the negative effects of his doing will bring more harm than good. Quran • Listening to the Holy Quran: Authority will be enhanced and life will end beautifully and will be shielded against all sorts of intrigues, in view of the Quranic verse that reads: “And when thou recites the Quran, we place before thee and those who believe not in the Hereafter a hidden barrier.” (“Bani Israil” [The Children of Israel], verse 45.)
• The Mushaf being taken away from the dreamer: He will be deprived of his science and no longer active in this world.
• The Quran being read out to the dreamer without his being able to understand it: Harm will befall him, either from Heaven or from the sultan (authority), owing to the verse: “And they say: Had we but listened or used our brain, we would not have been among the dwellers of the Blazing Fire.” (“Al-Mulk” [Sovereignty, or Majesty], verse 10.)
