Angels (Celestial beings; Heavenly beings) If one sees the heavenly angels (arb. Malaika) coming before him to congratulate him in a dream, it means that Allah Almighty has forgiven that person his sins and endowed him with patience, through which he will attain success in this life and in the hereafter. If one sees the heavenly angels greeting him or giving him something in the dream, it means that his insight will grow, or that he maybe martyrized. If one sees angels descending upon a locality that is raging with a war in a dream, it means that the dwellers of that place will win victory. Harshness (Austerity; Grimness; Hardness; Rigor; Severity) To be unpleasant, sharp, lacking restraint and wittingly incisive in a dream, or to display a harsh character, or to have one's heart blocked to receiving admonition, or to be defiant when Allah's words are spoken in a dream means pride, arrogance and indulgence in sinful actions. Incident - Al-Junayyid sitting by his doorsteps Imam Al-Junayyid reported that he was once sitting by his doorsteps. A blind man who was asking people to help him passed by him. Al-Junayyid said to himself: "If this man trusted in God Almighty and sat on the corner of a street, or at the entrance of a mosque, God Almighty will surely provide for him without his asking." Incident - Fire burning upto the Ankles Once a man came to Shaikh Sa'adu-Deen AI-Dharir. who was a blind man from Aleppo, Syria, and said: "I saw a dream, whereby I was wearing a shoe of fire that burned up to my ankles." The Shaikh replied: "Come near me, so I may tell you the meaning." Once the Shaikh took hold of the man's arm, he cried out to those who were present to catch the man and to call the police. After an investigation, it appeared that the man used to steal people's shoes at the entrance of the mosque, to which crime the man confessed, and people went to his house to claim their properties. Jackal The jackal is a man who denies people their rights or stands in their way. It is one of the animals that, according to religious belief, were once human beings before undergoing being cursed. Masjid A known mosque in a dream also could represent the renowned scholars who live in that place, or the ruler of that country, or any of his ministers. If one enters a mosque and immediately after crossing the entrance gate, he prostrates himself to Allah Almighty in the dream, it means that he will be given the opportunity to repent for his sins. If one comes to a Masjid and finds its doors locked, then if someone opens the door to him in a dream, it means that he will help someone in paying his debt, then extol his good virtues in public. Anus (Backside) In a dream, it represents the husband or money. If one sees his anus blocked in a dream, it means that he will die shortly. The anus in a dream also represents a lowly person, a cheap musician, a drummer, someone who holds secrets, a kin or a relative with whom it is not lawful to be married. Seeing the backside of a young person in a dream means separation between the two. If it is an older person in the dream, it means a fight between them. Causing cuts in one's anus means severing family ties. Weasel The weasel is among the human beings that, according to religious belief, were cursed and turned into animals, says Ibn Siren. In dreams, it symbolizes a foolish and harsh person, unjust and with little, if any, mercy. The same interpretation for a cat applies to it. Ape The ape (or monkey as well) is a poor man deprived of his means of living. It belongs to the category of human beings who have been metamorphosed as a result of a legendary curse. It represents the wicked, spiteful, and cursing individual, the same as it symbolizes a Jew (according to the ancient Arabs) or a person who commits major sins.
• Fighting and overpowering an ape: Will be ill but recover, unless the ape had the upper hand.

Spider The spider is among the metamorphosed (human beings turned into animals as a result of a curse, according to religious belief). It symbolizes a damned and detestable woman who abandons her husband’s bed in favour of others.
• Seeing a spider: Will meet a weak but showy and vexatious man, a nouveau riche, or newly rich, person.

Record keepers (Angels; Spiritual) Representing the heedful angels in charge of guarding the writings of the Preserved Tablets, and the heavenly beings or scribes in charge of recording peoples deeds. Maqam Ibrahim (The Station Of Abraham, Near The Kabah In Mecca (Makkah) The Quran says: “The First House (of worship) appointed for men was that at Bakka (Mecca (Makkah)): Full of blessings and of guidance for all kinds of beings. In it are Signs manifest; (for example), the Station of Abraham; whoever enters it attains security; pilgrimage thereto is a duty men owe to God” (“Al-Imran” [The Imran Family], verses 96–97.)

Vagina A vagina in a dream signifies relief for someone who is experiencing hardship, pressure, or sorrow. It also could mean satisfaction of one's needs, fulfillment of one's desire, marriage, partnership, exposing a secret, working with minerals, protecting women's chastity, imprisonment, the house entrance, the front door, travels, the prayer niche inside a mosque, one's innermost secret, running water, heat, an oven, a garment, a canyon, discovering a cure for an illness and feeling happy about it, finding an elixir, feeling relief after having sexual relationship with one's spouse, a grave, distress, one's wife, fire, a burning desires, family reunion, having children, dispelling doubt about what is right and what is wrong, clearly identifying true from false, finding guidance, or heeding admonition. Vessel The vessel symbolizes everything that saves the dreamer, by allegory to Noah’s ark. It refers particularly to Islam, which salvages human beings from their ignorance or atheism, or to the wife or slave-girl who immunizes the dreamer by ensuring his sexual sufficiency and saves him from the temptation of other women, which might lead to adultery or corruption in society. By so doing, the dreamer’s woman also saves him from Hell in the Hereafter. It also alludes to the dreamer’s parents who protected him when he was a baby from hunger and death, more particularly his mother, whose womb was like a ship he was riding in. Turtle The turtle is among the human beings who were metamorphosed, according to religious belief, as a result of a curse. The turtle or tortoise symbolizes: (1) A woman who adorns herself, uses a lot of cosmetics and perfume, and offers herself to men. (2) The chief justice, as the turtle is the most knowledgeable marine creature (according to Ibn Siren). (3) A scholar and a worshiper who reads the Holy Quran.
• A turtle in a garbage can: The people of the area have a scholar but do not know his value.

Door A door in a dream represents the guardian of the house. An open doors in a dream represents a source of income. The door of a house also represents the wife. If the appearance of one's door looks different from reality in a dream, it means changes in one's life. If it is broken or burned in the dream, it means difficulties for the resident guardian of that house. If one sees a small door within the main entrance door in the dream, it means that he will infringe on the privacy of others bedroom. It also means that one's wife may have a secret affair, or that a betrayal may be uncovered in one's house. If one sees lions jumping at his door in a dream, it means that insolent people will pursue his wife. If one sees himself seeking a door which he couldn't find in a dream, it means indecision. Jinn (Sing. Jinni) A creation from a smokeless fire. Among the Jinn, some are believers while others are satans. This is in contrast to human beings who are created from earth and among them some are believers and others are human satans. Jinn in a dream represent fraud, deceit, cunning, perfidy, treachery, theft, alcoholism, invented religious practices, travels, music, bars, tricks, sleight of hand, illusion, sorcery and magic.
