Atheism

Atheism symbolizes self-sufficiency and prosperity in view of a verse in the Holy Quran: “Nay, but man doth transgress all bounds, in that he looketh upon himself as self-sufficient.”
(“Al-Alaq” [The Clot of Congealed Blood], verses 6 and 7.)
It also refers to injustice, again because of the Quranic verse that says: “… the disbelievers, they are the unjust.”
(“Al-Baqarah” [The Heifer], verse 254.) Likewise it could refer to an incurable disease, owing to the verse: “As for the disbelievers, whether thou warn them or thou warn them not it is all one for them; they believe not”
(“Al-Baqarah,” verse 6).

Omar

If one sees him frowning in a dream, it means that Omar is calling for justice, commanding what is good and forbidding what is evil. If there is a drought in a town and one sees Omar in a dream, it means that rain will fall and be a blessing for that land. If there is tyranny in that land and one sees Omar in his dream, it means that justice will prevail. If Omar hits someone with a stick, or warns him, or threatens him in a dream, it means that one must renounce the course of his current actions or deviation from Allah's path, or perhaps that someone in authority or a scholar will persecute him. If one sees himself being Omar in a dream, or if he wears one of his garments in a dream, it means that he will be awarded honor, a dignified status, or die as a martyr.

Drainage

See Gargoyle. DRAWING LOTS.

• Drawing lots against someone and winning: Will triumph in a righteous matter.

• Drawing lots and being rejected: Will have worries and go to jail, then be saved, in view of the story of Yunus
(Jonah) in the Holy Quran: “And lo! Jonah verily was of those sent [to warn], when he fled unto the laden ship. And they drew lots and was of those rejected; and the fish swallowed him while he was blameworthy; and had he not been one of those who glorify
(Allah), he would have tarried in its belly till the day when they are raised.”
(“Al-Saffat” [Those Who Set the Ranks], verses 139–44.)
