Seeing “someone strangled”
in your dream

• Being strangled: The dreamer has failed to shoulder a certain responsibility or has not proved trustworthy.

• Being strangled to death: The dreamer will become poor.

• Strangling oneself: The dreamer is bringing himself worries and sorrow.

(Hanging) If one strangles himself with his own hands, or if he hangs himself with a rope which he attaches to the ceiling in a dream, it means that he is sufferings from depression, distress, or sorrow. It also could mean that he will not reside in his present house, or in the place where he saw himself strangled. The same interpretation goes for seeing oneself suffering from asphyxia. • Coughing:  (1) The dreamer intends to accuse someone but does not do so. 
(2) The dreamer is complaining about or accusing somebody close to the ruler.

• Coughing till getting strangled: Will die.
