(Possessed) If one sees himself haunted or possessed by evil spirits in a dream, it means that he engages in usury, performs secrets arts, or that he may lose his wealth to become unhappy, or to suffer from stress or depression.

(String instruments; Guitar; Lute; Mandolin) In a dream, a banjo represents people's common business, double-dealing, scrupulousness, adultery, playing chess, sorcery, a medium, evocation of spirits, calling on jinn spirits, being possessed by Jinn's or similar effects. A banjo in a dream also represents the leader of such a band of people and it denotes distress and sorrows.

The reader will live with a beautiful woman till the end of his life. But the marriage will not be a happy one. He will also possess the ability to rpesent stong arguments and speak eloquently.

The speech of inanimate objects in a dream always means good, provides a lesson or gives advice. Animal talk in a dream also represents punishment and suffering. The talk of one's limbs in a dream means trouble from one's relatives, or it could mean committing a sin. The speech of moving shadows in a dream means evoking jinn or evil spirits. Being possessed by such spirits and speaking on their behalf in a dream signifies temptation, trouble, corruption and evil. Any words that agree with Allah's revelations in a dream must be hearkened to and complied with. The opposite is also true. If a limb talks to someone in his dream, it denotes advice one will receive from a relative.

To see the earth speaking to a person indicates that he will acquire such prosperity that will cause people to be amazed and astonished. The same interpretation is given when such a thing is seen speaking to a person which does not possess the faculty of speech.

(Fish) A shark in a dream represents high spirit, or it could mean belonging to the upper class or to a noble lineage.

(Fun; Joking) Jesting in a dream represents a state of poverty, adverse conditions, apathy, a low spirit, uncertainty, torpor, or low self-esteem. Jesting in a dream also represents an ailment, hunger, love, or sorrow.

(bot. Mint; Sweet marjoram; Wild marjoram) Smelling a marjoram plant in a dream means recovering from an illness and enjoying a good health for that year. Planting a marjoram in a dream means begetting a healthy and a beautiful child who will grow to possess a good character. (Alcohol; Beer; Brewery; Cocaine; Drugs; Hashish; Injection; Inebriant; Marijuana; Opium; Sedatives; Spirits; Wine) In a dream, all intoxicants signify suspicions, apprehension and doubt about one's resources, or the lawfulness of his earnings, the legitimacy of his children, or the religious legality of his marriage.

If one sees himself extending his hands to the heavens from where he receives a water melon in the dream, it means that he is seeking a job in the government or a wealth which he shall shortly receive. A ripened water melon in a dream means a sickness, while a green and unripened melon means youth and a good health. Honeydew in a dream represent a group of men and women who possess good character and manners. In a dream, a melon also represents a beautiful woman though with bad qualities.

A sparrow or a hawk in a dream represents an ignorant and unjust ruler. Both command lesser controlling domains than the eagle. Holding a sparrow or a hawk in a dream means that one will capture a thief. If one sees himself producing a sparrow or a hawk out of his urethral canal, it means that he will bore a son who will possess courageous and frivolous character. To trust Ibn Siren, the lung is where the spirit resides in the body. Therefore:

• Having healthy lungs means the dreamer will live long.

• The lungs being sick means life will be short.

• A lung being rotten means the dreamer will die soon.

Drinking hot water from the boiler in a dream means sickness, stress, depression and a scare from evil spirits. If one sees himself drinking cold refreshing water from the regular water tab in a dream, it means comfort and joy. (Also see Cup; Drink; Mug)

A lake in dream represents judges and governors who serve others without conspiracy. A lake in a dream also represents difficulties in completing one's journey. A small lake in a dream represents a rich woman, or a woman with a military spirit, or a woman who likes to be approached.

(Companion) To share one's bed with a deceased person in a dream means paying a pecuniary penalty which will be exacted by the authorities. Sharing one's bed with someone who is away on a trip in a dream means receiving news from him. Sharing one's bed with evil companions, spirits, satans or jinn in a dream means fighting against a crime ring.

• Seeing the Holy Christ in a city or a mosque looking at the people there: Their hardships and difficult tests will be over because, says Al-Nabulsi, Jesus incarnates the spirit of God and His compassion.33

• Jesus appearing at a place: The place will be blessed, justice will prevail therein, the pagans will be destroyed, and the devout will triumph.

• Seeing Jesus Christ accompanied by his mother:  (1) Something very great or a miracle will occur at that spot. 
(2) Deep problems, calumnies, slander, pain, sorrow, and the shifting from one place to another.

Spitting against a tree in a dream means to recant one's promise. Spitting at another person in a dream means despising him. Warm saliva in a dream means long life, while cold saliva represents a short life. The color of one's saliva in a dream shows the state of one's spirit. Spiting blood or phlegm in a dream means speaking ill of others.
