Seeing “maternal grandmother”
in your dream

A perbond mother, paternal grandmother, maternal aunt or some lady equal in status to any of these will die.

These symbolise one's maternal uncles and aunts.

This category in a dream includes, the grandfather, the maternal and the paternal uncles and whoever has a share in one's inheritance. A brother in a dream means having shareholders in one's business.

(After many years) it is reported from Ibn Yahya that when he revealed the above incident to Abul Waleed (RA) the latter laughed saying: “I am the son of one of them. I have eleven maternal aunts and Aboo Ammaarah Attayyaan was my grandfather. May Allah shower His blessings upon him and us and all the Muslims.”

• Resuscitating someone: Will help an atheist become a Muslim or a debauchee repent, or the dreamer will simply repent.

• One’s grandfather or grandmother resuscitating: Revival of efforts and luck, as the word for grandparent in Arabic is a homonym of
endeavour.

• One’s father or mother resuscitating: Relief from worries.  (The dream involving the father is more likely to come true.)

• Resuscitation of a son: Emergence of a most unexpected enemy.

• Resuscitation of a daughter: Relief and satisfaction.

These symbolise a persons paternal and maternal uncles and aunts. The upper ones will then symbolise the males and the lower ones the females. If a person sees any of these as fallen, and he does not pick them up nor or count them, it means one of his relatives will die. And if he sees all of them having fallen and he does not pick them up nor does he count them it suggest that he will outlive all of them, being the last to die.
