Seeing “hen”
in your dream

It represents a blessed woman. If many hens are seen then they represent dames and women who will gather together for some happy occasion such as a wedding.

The mongoose symbolizes adultery. Seeing it means that the dreamer will commit adultery, for it basically kills snakes, but it also steals hens, which according to Ibn
Siren have similarities with women.

Small cocks are bondsmen or the latter’s children, and so are hens.
Certain interpreters also regard the cock as a thick-skinned man, a warrior, and a mean person.

• Slaughtering a cock: The dreamer doesn’t respond to the call for prayer.

• Turning into a cock: Will presently die.
