Seeing “disregarding”
in your dream

If one's sight explodes with a lightning in a dream, it means his death. Blindness also could denote deafness, disregarding the world or renouncing it or hiding one's secrets. As for a foreigner, seeing himself blind in a dream means never returning to his homeland. Blindness in a dream for a prisoner means his release from jail. If a seeker, a student, or a businessman sees himself blind in a dream, it means that he may never reach his goals. (Also see Body; Destruction; Eyes; Fear; One-eyed; World)

If the divorce is irrevocable, then it could mean that he will permanently close his business. Divorcing one's wife in a dream also means disregarding a treasure, renouncing an inheritance, abdicating one's throne, or impeachment from one's office. Divorce in a dream also denotes poverty. Divorcing one's sick wife in a dream means that she may die of her illness. However, if one divorces his sick wife with the intention of returning to her again in the dream, in that case, it means that she will recover from her illness. Walking out of a village in a dream means escaping from evil. Seeing a destroyed village in a dream means heedlessness or a calamity caused by the sins of its dwellers. Seeing a well-built village in a dream shows the piety and righteousness of its people. Seeing ancient edifices or ruins inhabited again in a dream represents people's repentance from sin. A village in a dream also could signify injustice, innovations, corruption, disregarding the divine laws, or discarding the moral standards set by the community. A village in a dream also could represent ants underground nest or colony, while an anthill in a dream represents a village.

Dreams about fasting have contradictory interpretations:

• Dreaming of being in the Muslims  month of fasting  (Ramadan):
(1) Higher prices  (inflation) and scarcity of foodstuffs.  (2) Sound religion, end of worries, recovery from a disease, the settlement of debts.

• Having fasted the entire month of Ramadan:  (1) Certainty after doubt.
(2) If the dreamer was illiterate, he would memorize the Holy Quran.

• Dreaming of recognizing the utility of fasting and wishing to fast: Quick benefits from an unexpected source.

• Failing to fast during the month of Ramadan:  (1) The dreamer is giving way to his instinct and passions.
(2) The dreamer will have a blessed journey.

• Dreaming of having deliberately and overtly eaten throughout the month of Ramadan, instead of fasting like other Muslims:
(1) The dreamer is disregarding religious rules.  (2) The dreamer will commit a premeditated murder.
