Seeing “colour locust”
in your dream

Black colour in all things is regarded as good and pleasant except in grapes. There is no good to be expected in them.

If, on the contrary, people are seen, in the dream, catching and eating locusts while they look harmless, they are a harbinger of benefits, welfare, and abundance. Locusts seen in a container represent gold and silver coins. Locusts seen in any place without causing harm mean joy and happiness, in view of the story of the prophet Ayyoub 
(Job). However, locusts could also symbolize the baker who sells adulterated bread. The sky raining golden locusts means blessings and joy.

(the mob). They could also refer to rain if they are seen falling on rooftops. If they are too many and are flying between people or between the earth and the sky, they could mean torture. The same would apply to lice and frogs, as the Children of Israel were tortured in this manner.

In a dream, locusts represent an adversity, a trial, a calamity or a punishment. They also represent a destructive rain, or an occupation by a vehement army. Eating locusts in a dream means that one will receive money. If one fills a cup or a pitcher with locust in a dream it also means earnings. Any place locusts fly into without causing harm in a dream means overcoming from adversities. If a rich person who has lost his wealth sees a swarm of locust falling all over him in a dream, it means that he will recuperate his wealth.

To see locusts in the dream is the same as seeing an army of soldiers in that locality. Havoc and destruction caused by these soldiers will be equal to the havoc and destruction caused by the locusts in the dream. And if soldiers are seen marching in a known area it means locusts will cause destruction in that area.

If a swarm of locusts is seen approaching or flying without buzzing it represents one's wealth which one had accumulated secretly. But if it is with buzzing sound it means enmity and hatred.

Moving from a village into a city in a dream means leaving one's toiling and hardships behind him.
