Seeing “chidren not mine”
in your dream

He will acquire a woman from an unimaginable place.

They symbolise his brother's and sister's chidren (ie. Nephews and nieces ). At other times they symbolise the five daily salaah. Thus, if any defects are seen in a persons fingers, it is suggestive of similar short comings in his salaah; or it forewarns mishaps regarding his nephews or nieces-depending entirely on which of the two aspects are implicated in the dream.

• Eating mercury: Trouble, worries, harm, and losses.

• Entering a quicksilver mine and coming out with something: The dreamer’s wife is a wicked woman who cheats him.

• Selling mercury: The dreamer will be safe from the intrigues of a cunning woman.

• Drowning in mercury: The dreamer will be enslaved by shrewd and enticing women who have more than one card up their sleeve.

• Having plenty of mercury: The dreamer will acquire plenty of money by tricking or outsmarting women.

A dream interpreter once said: "I saw in a dream a man who was blindfolded with a blue piece of cloth. I asked him: 'Do you know what happened to my father?' The man replied: "Your father is dead.' Then he took me to may father's grave, where I felt the great loss, and I hugged it, cried, and wailed. When I woke up, I told another dream interpreter, who was a friend of mine, about my dream. He smiled and said: 'Your father's death in the dream means his longevity, and your crying means relief from distress.' I did not accept his interpretation of my dream, for I knew better the meaning of wailing and mourning in a dream.

Abu Musa reported Allah's Messenger (Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam) as saying:
I dreamt (while asleep) that I was about to migrate from Mecca to a land abounding in palmtrees and I guessed that it would be Yamama or Hajar, but it was the city of Yathrib (the old name of Medina), and I saw in this dream of mine that I was brandishing a sword and its upper end was broken and this is what fell (in the form of misfortune to the believers on the Day of Uhud). I brandished (the sword) for the second time and it became all right and this is what came to be true when Allah granted us victory and solidarity of the believers. And I saw therein cows also and Allah is the Doer of good. These meant the group from amongst the believers on the Day of Uhud and the goodness which Allah brought after that and the reward of attestation of his Truth which Allah brought to us after the Day of Badr.
