Seeing “behaviour”
in your dream

If he sees a house which is known to him, it symbolizes his position and condition in this world. Its features – be they pleasant or unpleasant, such as the house being straight or crooked, spacious or narrow, orderly or disorderly-is a reflection of his behaviour and character.

Quicksilver or mercury symbolizes the failure to keep one’s promises and the missing of appointments as well as frivolous
behaviour, treason, and hypocrisy.

• Holding mercury: The dreamer’s religious faith is quite shaken, and he is the slave of his passions as well as a treacherous or untrustworthy person.

But the sanatorium also alludes to entertainment, playing, joking, and irresponsible
behaviour in society or in people’s occupations, as is the case with psychopaths. A mentally disturbed person would not mind parting from his children.

• A dead person seen in a sanatorium: He is in Hell, as the madhouse “is the place of chains and shackles”
(which have now been replaced by the straitjacket).

The policeman symbolizes the Archangel of Death or big trouble and worries. Accompanied by his aides, he represents alarm
(not just fear); sorrow; danger; a powerful, evil, and wicked individual or many of them; harm from whimsical
behaviour; and ferocious beasts.

• An influential person dreaming of a policeman: He will demand pledges and set certain conditions for his subjects, or vice versa.
