Seeing “hard time breathing”
in your dream

The carrying of stones, rocks and mountains means one will be made to carry great burdens by people who are hard and cruel.

A sea-going vessel normally symbolizes deliverance and safety from calamities. Sometimes it is interpreted as a means of reaching the king or becoming intimate with him or serving him. At times it is also interpreted as grief and anxiety which will ultimately come to an end.

(Tongues) In a dream, a pair of tweezers represents a hard-working and a patient boy. It also means blabber, or employment for a jobless person.

This symbolises a persons increment in material wealth. At times it represents ear for a certain person in view of the following adage: Qad habala fil ardhi khawful fulaanin. This means that the earth is pregnant and burdened as a result of terror caused by so –and-so.

'Abu Qatadah narrated that the Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) said:
"Dreams are from Allah and Hulum are from Shaitan. So when one of you sees something that bothers him, then let him spit on his left three times, and let him seek refuge in Allah from its evil. Then it will not harm him."

(Cooling) An ice cream salesman in a dream represents a hard working person who labors to provide comfort to others, whose efforts are praiseworthy, and whose earnings are blessed.

Their interpretation varies according to the nature of the people. If a person sees himself as receiving them in the dream it means he will receive them in real life. For some it could mean receiving sustenance after arguing and quarrelling. At other times it could mean exchange of good words.

Hot water suggest grief caused by a king, ruler or government authorities. The hotter the water the more intense the affliction. At times, hot water also symbolizes fear, consternation or sickness.

Exerting efforts to one's utmost, or to the point of straining oneself in a dream means the death of a sick person, or it could represent laboring hard to sustain one's dependents.

Such a flock symbolises a blessed person who devotes his time in worshipping Allah profusely.

If one sees himself spreading the pages of the Holy Book on a flat surface in a dream, it means that he is seeking wisdom which he will get, or that he may receive an inheritance. If one sees himself putting the Holy Book over his shoulders in a dream, it means that he will receive an appointment, or be entrusted with a duty to guard, or that he will memorize the Holy Quran. If one finds himself trying to eat the pages of the Holy Book in a dream, it means that he is a regular reader of the Quran. If one sees himself trying to eat the pages of the holy Book but is unable to do so in a dream, it means that he tries to memorize the Holy Quran from time to time but keeps forgetting what he learns. If a person sees himself walking on sand or picking up sand, it means he will have to toil very hard in order to become wealthy.

Hard timber implies hypocrisy in habits or in matters relating to Deen. The same implies to firewood, small or big, dry or green.

They symbolise wealth of little or no benefit at all. At times they symbolise knowledge of no benefit, if they are few, it many sumbolise women and servants.

If a person sees himself kneading dough it means he will father a great many children and his trees will bear excessive fruit and his land will yield plentiful food-but after much toiling and hard work.

If a person sees himself as eating or keeping pearls in his mouth, it means he will conceal the knowledge of Deen thereby depriving the people from benefiting from his ilm. At times eating pearls could mean reciting the Quran and deriving benefit theregfrom.
