Seeing “helping authority catch someone”
in your dream

If a person sees his house devastated by fire it is a hint that he will be disgraced by an authority; or he will be afflicted by an epidemic disease.

If one's ship is drowning, and if another ship comes to its rescue in the dream, it means that one will escape from a great danger to fall into the hands of a strong person, or that he will escape from a danger, though should he disobey its captain and abandon the second ship in his dream, it means that he may disobey his leader and go astray. Recovering one's ship from the deep in a dream means regaining power. If the ship in one's dream is interpreted as power, it means that he will lose his power or authority. If the ship is interpreted as burdens and difficulties, it means that he will overcome them through prayers or giving charity, or taking a medicine if he is ill. If one's ship drown, and if he sees himself floating in the water holding to a panel or debris from the ship in the dream, it means that he will face the wrath of someone in authority. If he is holding a leadership position, it means that he may lose it. If he is a merchant, it means that he may go bankrupt.

This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Abu Qatada, but there is no mention of the words of Abu Salama:
" I saw dreams (which perturbed me) but I did not cover myself with a mantle." (Muslim)

A good rain in a dream also means prosperity, happiness, refilling wells with rainwater, the gushing forth of springs with sweet, fresh and pure waters. Rain in a dream also means reviving an old and a stagnant matter, or it could mean benefits, profits, blessings, relief from distress, payment of debts, or feeling relief. In a dream, a good rain means blessings, a good harvest and profits for a farmer. If the skies rain honey, butter, oil, or food people like in the dream, it means blessings for everyone. Rain in a dream also represent mercy from Allah Almighty, a helping hand, knowledge, wisdom, the Quran, rejuvenation, revival, resurrection and life. If one sees himself standing under a cover, a roof, or behind a wall to take shelter from a rainfall in a dream, it means that he may suffer because of someone slandering him.

If the fillets, fat or skin of fresh fish is eaten or acquired by a person it means he will acquire wealth and assets from someone. Perhaps from some authority or woman.

In a dream, celery represents money earned from someone in authority, receiving a commendation from one's superior, ingratitude to one's Lord, divulging secrets, or it could mean affectation.

• A golden ring:  (1) If a ruler, the dreamer will turn heretic, lose his religious faith, betray his people, and become a tyrant. 
(2) A reference to a woman who has lost her fortune.

• An iron ring:  (1) A courageous leader.  (2) A tradesman with foresight but bad memory. 
(3) A ring made of lead: Power melted through weakness.
A ring with two stones: Overt and covert influence, financial benefits, and/or success in helping religious-minded and worldly individuals and healing people.

• Rings made of horns or ivory: Good augury for women.

• A wooden ring:  (1) A hypocritical woman.  (2) Prosperity or power obtained through hypocrisy.

• Being given or offered a ring or buying one: The dreamer will wield tremendous power or become a king, if eligible because, says Ibn
Siren, the majesty of King Solomon was derived from his ring.

• A woman being given a ring: She will get married or have a child.

(zool.) In a dream, an oriole represents doubt, wonderment, subsiding, concealment, trusting, confiding, associating with people in authority, or fear of one's enemy.

It is reported either on the authority of Ibn 'Abbas or on that of Abu Huraira that a person came to Allah's Messenger (Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam) and said:
Verily I saw during the night a canopy; the rest of the hadith is the same. (Muslim)

(Coarse; Rough) If someone in authority becomes rude, or if he is witnessed to be rude in a dream, it means loss of his job.

(Color) In a dream, the color gray means a high rank or authority.

It symbolises praises and complements coupled with terror and danger as smoke means danger from aruler or authority.

Wearing a turban made of silk or raw silk means a perbond authority will cause his downfull in matters pertaining to his Deen and world. Also, whatever his earns during his term of office will be unlawful.

(Fat; Oil) A motor lubricator in a dream represents knowledge, guidance, serving the people of knowledge, or being close to people in authority. (Also see Grease)

Allah's Messenger (Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam) said:
The vision of a Muslim which he sees or which is shown to him, and in the hadith transmitted on the authority of Ibn Alushir (the words are):" The pious dream is the forty-sixth part of Prophecy." (Muslim)

(Tiller; Wheel) In a dream, the helm or the tiller of a boat represent true knowledge, the seat of authority, solid credentials and a reliable reference. (Also see Boat; Ship)

• Seeing or owning Sulayman’s ring: The dreamer will receive a new mandate or own something spectacular.

• Seeing Sulayman at a pulpit or a rostrum or on a deathbed: A supreme authority, a prince, or a chief will die, and people will know about it only after some time.

• A woman seeing Solomon: She will cheat or outsmart her husband.

The One who eats the meat will receive assets from some authority. The extent of such assets will depend on how much meat he eats. The same interpretation is given if a person sees himself taking possession of the skin, bone or any other portion of the elephant.

Man's agitation or explosion toward inanimate objects in a dream means either business losses, or seizing of one's property by the authority. Agitation in a dream also means a calamity of an unknown disease or a worrisome illness.

(Message) Sending or receiving a letter in a dream represents a respectable person, a rank, or a word of authority when personally delivered. If one sends a letter addressed to someone known, exhorting him to do good and eschew evil in a dream, it means satisfying one's needs and fulfilling one's purpose.
