Seeing “dead parents making food”
in your dream

If a sick person sees the morning in his dream, it means either recovering from his illness, or it could mean his death. If one leads others in prayers in such a dream, it means travels, or making a pilgrimage to Mecca. If the dream is interpreted to be his death, then it means a good end to his life in this world, light in one's grave, or that Allah willing, he will enter paradise. If one sees the morning and solicits water to drink, or purchases food, or barters for some barley in his dream, it means that he will overcome his difficulties and dispel his adversities. If a prisoner sees the morning in his dream, it means that he will be released shortly.

• Eating one’s own flesh: Abundance and tremendous power are in store.

• Eating the flesh of a tortured person  (crucified, hung, et cetera): Will obtain money from a wanted individual. It could also mean redemption and/or vengeance.

• Eating the flesh of one’s enemy: Will triumph over him.

• Eating the flesh of a dead person: Will speak ill of the dead, in view of a verse in the Holy Quran that says: “O ye who believe! Shun much suspicion; for lo! some suspicion is a sin. And spy not, neither backbite one another. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? …”

Consequently, he will be blamed for interfering or entering such a venture. If one sees himself hosting a dinner at his house, and the guests have finished eating in the dream, it means that he will preside over them. If a sick person sees such an invitation at his house in a dream, it means that he will recover from his illness. Serving food to guests in a dream means the returning home of a dear person from a long journey. If one sees himself sitting at a table covered with all types of food and fruits in a dream, it means that he will be called upon to serve his Lord and to win paradise. Falling into a hole and crying for help to no avail in a dream means taking a short trip. A hole in a dream also represents a poor woman who strives to cover others pitfalls, though she cannot veil her own. Hiding inside a hole in a dream also means appeasement of one's fears, or ending of one's adversities. If while hiding, one finds food, or fresh water, or a cloth to cover himself in the dream, it means profiting from sources one does not anticipate, or making peace with an opponent. • Death of the king: The country will be lost.

• Death of the imam  (Muslim spiritual leader):  (1) Havoc in the city or country. 
(2) Loss of the dreamer’s religious faith.

• Death of a ulema  (Muslim religious scholar): No more learning or Islamic Law in that place.

• Death of either parent: Will deteriorate materially and/or spiritually.

• Death of the father: Quandary regarding the dreamer’s livelihood.

• Death of the mother:  (1) Worries and sorrow.  (2) Aims will not be fulfilled.

• Death of a son:  (1) Will get rid of or be safe from one’s enemy. 
(2) An inheritance.

(Alms; Charity; Contribution; Donation; Fulfilling needs; Gift; Offering; Profits; Religious endowment) Making a religious endowment in a dream represents good deeds that are done for Allah's pleasure, seeking to be in His nearness and asking for His blessings. Making a religious endowment in a dream also means rising in station, both in this world and in the hereafter.

• Seeing a dead person reading or reciting “Ayat Al Rahma” or verses referring to God’s compassion and mercy: The dead person is enjoying God’s mercy.

• Seeing a dead person reading or reciting verses alluding to God’s punishment: He is tortured by God.

• Verses implying a warning: Beware of committing sins.

• Verses referring to good tidings: Welfare is ahead.

• Dreaming that you are reading verses about the tortures God is reserving for the unbelievers and stumbling over one of them 
(being unable to read it): Joy.

(Eyebrow) Seeing one's father in a dream means attaining one's goal. One's dreams are most beneficial when he sees his parents, grand parents or a relative. Seeing one's father in a dream when in wakefulness one needs help means that help will come his way from sources he does not anticipate. If in real life he is awaiting someone's return from a journey, it means that such a person will soon arrive. If one is sick, it means that he will recover from his illness. If he sees that his father is given a dwelling with high fences, it means that he will continue his father's work and manage what he has left for him in this world. (Also see Governor)

Winning a sea battle in Jihad against a tyrant in a dream means restoring one's religious commitment, and it could represent a protective jealousy for one's wife, or winning a struggle in favor of one's parents. Victory in the battlefield during Jihad means profits in one's business. Returning from a holy war against an oppressor in a dream means that one may lose his religious commitment or disobey his parents, which is a major sin in Islam. (Also see Inner struggle)

• Dead women rising beautifully dressed with full makeup: The dreamer or the family of these women will witness the revival of certain matters, depending on how beautiful the women looked and how well they were dressed. White dresses refer to religious matters, red to entertainment, and black to wealth, power, and mastery. If their dresses are tattered, it means poverty and worries; dirty dresses symbolize the accumulation of sins.

• Making love to one’s resuscitated wife and getting wet with her water 
(semen):  (1) Pending matters will be settled favourably, and money will be spent willingly in the right way. 
(2) Will resume one’s leadership.  (3) Business will be lucrative.

• Seeing a cemetery:  (1) Fear for a person who feels safe and vice versa. 
(2) Prayers and aspirations.  (3) Repentance.  (4) A reference to the Hereafter, as a cemetery is the gateway to it; to the asylum; to asceticism; to weeping; to preaching; to death, since a cemetery is the house of death; and to atheist and heretic places or the dwelling of aliens in a Muslim country, since a cemetery houses the dead and death, according to the rules of interpretation, means religious corruption. Likewise, a cemetery could refer to those who indulge in luxury; brothels; bars where drunkards lie like the dead; the homes of those who fail to pray and remember God or do any good; and prison, for the dead is locked in his grave like the prisoner in his cell.

• One Aqiq stone: (1) Return of an absent one. (2) Recovery of a sick person.
(3) The freeing of a prisoner. (4) More faith and the abiding by the Holy Prophet’s Tradition.

• One bead: A friend who has nobody to support him.

• Many beads: Illicit gains.

• Dreaming of Aqiq and of doing, at the same time, something prohibited, such as slaughtering a pig or presenting people with pork or dead meat while aware of the sinful character of such an act: The dreamer is ungrateful to his parents and to God, in view of the resemblance of the word Aqiq to oqooq, which in Arabic conveys that meaning of ingratitude.

• Being given Aqiq: Will follow the example of the donor. Losing it means the reverse. Owning plenty of
aqiq: Money and general welfare, as much as was seen.

• Drinking from a container made of aqiq: Will have a child who will become honest and prestigious and will never be short of money.

A field of sugar cane in a dream also represents the ability to hide something, or to redo something, or to declare a war, or it could mean signing a business agreement, a marriage contract, celebrating old times and events, freedom from imprisonment, releasing prisoners, recovering from an illness, or exhuming the dead. Chewing or sucking on a stick of sugar cane in a dream means becoming talkative or repetitive. If one sees himself making juice out of sugar cane in a dream, it means prosperity and wealth. • Dreaming of being wrapped in a shroud like the dead, except for the head and feet, which remain uncovered: Religious corruption or simply things will go wrong.

• Weaving a shroud for a dead person: The dreamer will do something good in memory of the deceased or in
favour of his offspring as much as the winding sheet was big, beautiful, or valuable.

• Weaving a shroud for a living person known to the dreamer: Hardships and trouble for the latter.

• Weaving a shroud for a person dreamed of as unknown but alive: Good augury.

• Snatching a shroud from a dead person whom the dreamer used to know: The dreamer will follow the example of that late person.

• Jumping to cross a river, a pit, or a well, et cetera, and succeeding: A change for the better and will be saved from some evil and reach the safe shore very quickly.

• Jumping but staying late in that jump till withering away: Will die.

• The dead jumping out of their graves and returning to their homes:  (1) Prisoners will be released. 
(2) Plants will grow again after they were dead in that place.

The embrace symbolizes:  (1) Long life.  (2) Love and cordiality. 
(3) Good words.  (4) Travel.  (5) The return of an absent one. 
(6) The end of worries.  (7) Sex.

• Embracing a dead person: Will have a long life.

• A dead person holding the dreamer tight and inescapably to defeat and humiliate him: Will die.

(Kitchen; Stew) A ladle in a dream represents a household manger, or the lady of the house who properly manages its finances. Eating meat cooked with vinegar from a ladle in a dream means living happily with dignity from money one has earned from his own labor, or it could mean serving the domestic needs of others, working for rich people and making good money, making healthy profits from one's trade, or winning an important political appointment. (Dinner; Food) In a dream, hospitality means getting together for a charitable cause or to perform good deeds. If one invites people for a dinner and they eat to full satisfaction in the dream, it means that he will preside over them. (Food) In a dream, a hunt represents a booty or profits. If one hunts a deer or a rabbit in his dream, it means money and profits. If one hunts for sport in the dream, it means backbiting or slandering a woman. If one sees himself hunting with hunting dogs in a dream, it means that he will fulfill a long desired wish. If one sees dogs going to hunt in a dream, it means good news for everyone, or it could mean engaging in an act, or establishing a business. If he sees the dogs returning from the hunt in a dream, it means dispelling fears, or shortage of work. If one sees himself fishing with a fishing instrument in a dream, it means making an honest living, or seeking lawful earnings.

In a dream, a hunter represents a philanderer, a womanizer who rounds women, or a pimp. If one sees himself befriending a hunter, or if he helps him, and if the hunter is pursuing what is lawful to kill for food, one's dream then connotes personal advantages. If the hunt is after an animal which is unlawful for food, then the dream means sufferings. Hunting a lion in a dream means acquiring great power through deception.
