Seeing “cutting meat preparing food”
in your dream

Sopped bread with meat and broth or soup in a dream represent man's livelihood. The amount of food one eats from a bowl of soup represents the portion of life one has spent, and the balance in the bowl represents what is left. Looking at a bowl of soup and being afraid to eat from it in the dream means longevity which is accompanied with comfort and ease. Eating fat-free soup in a dream means wishing for death because of one's poverty or illness. Soup with bread but without meat in a dream represents a high ranking position without benefits.

(Meat) In a dream, a steak represents an unavoidable evil happening, or it could represent a passing danger. Sliced meat in a dream also could mean happiness, quick earnings, fertility, or exposure of what man should keep personal and private. Seeing a butcher slicing meat in a dream could mean fights, evil, war, divisions in the society, or mixing the lawful with the unlawful, or usury, or fulfilling one's needs.

• Buying a ram: Will be needed by an honest man to be saved from disease or destruction.

• Becoming a ram: Will enjoy fame and fortune in the shadow of a rich and influential but honest man or will serve a king.

• Fighting a ram: Will be at loggerheads with a giant of a man. Whoever wins the combat will triumph in reality, because the two are of different kinds.49

• Riding a ram or eating cooked ram meat: Fertility and abundance. In dreams, fat meat is a better symbol than lean.

• Eating raw ram meat: Absence.

Carving a bow in a dream means preparing to get married or begetting a son. Shooting an arrow and hitting one's target in a dream means fulfilling one's needs, or attaining one's goal. Selling one's bow and arrows in a dream means giving priority to one's religious life over that of his mundane one. Shooting hazelnuts in a town in a dream means backbiting people, while shooting hazelnuts in the forest means earning lawful money from hunting. Shooting arrows in front of the city hall in a dream means backbiting or slandering others. Shooting a pigeon in a dream means slandering one's own wife. Putting a pot with meat and vegetables on the stove in a dream means imposing oneself on someone to receive a favor. If the meat is cooked in his dream, it means that one will greatly benefit from such a person, and his earnings will be lawful. If the meat does not cook, it means that whatever he earns through the other person will be unlawful. Stirring a pot in a dream means backbiting someone. If one eats directly from the pot in a dream, it represents money one could save otherwise beside other benefits.

If the pot one is stirring in his dream does not contain any meat or food, it means that he will ask a poor person to do something beyond his means, and consequently he will not benefit from his doing. A cooking pot in a dream also represents one's relentlessness toward his enemy. A pot in a dream also denotes one's contentment and his acceptance of his destiny and of the divine providence. (Meat; Sheep) To see a slaughtered and skinned sheep hanging in one's house in a dream means death in such a house. Herding sheep in a dream means presiding over people. Owning a herd of sheep or managing them in a dream means wealth and profits. Eating mutton meat in a dream means prosperity. (Also see Meat)

(Cutting remark; Oversight) A slip of one's tongue, or to slip in a cutting remark in a dream may mean walking on a slippery surface, or vice versa. (Also see Slippery surface)

• Seeing somebody’s pigeon  (penis): The dreamer is an adulterer.

• A pigeon evading the dreamer or flying away to no return:  (a) Divorce. 
(2) Wife will die.

• Cutting a pigeon’s wing:  (1) The dreamer will swear not to let his wife out. 
(2) Wife will deliver.  (3) Wife will get pregnant.

• Slaughtering a pigeon: Will deflower a girl.

• Eating dove meat: Will eat up a woman’s money.
The ringdove is a wild, dominating woman, if not impossible at least difficult to tame. She is a liar and not quite religious. It could also refer to a lying boy.
The turtledove is either a religious woman or a boy who makes an honest living.

A sail maker in a dream represents travels, preparing oneself to start a business, to equip a major project, or to get married.

• The one who grills meat:  (1) A tutor or educator of young princes, free children, and young girls or female slaves. He teaches them a profession or a craft. 
(2) A surgeon.  (3) A troublemaker and an antagonist.  (4) A torturer using wooden, iron, and other infernal devices. 
(5) A looter.  (6) One who takes people’s lives.  (7) The one who captures girls and women as war booty.

• Going to the cook of grilled meat to buy a well-done steak or the like: The dreamer will hand over his son to a tutor to teach and educate him.

• Buying grilled meat for a sum of money: Will hire a boy or a girl brought up by a man of letters or a shrewd merchant, who will obey and act according to the dreamer’s will.

• Seeing the anus of an unidentified old man: Will be led astray and overwhelmed without knowing who is pulling the strings from behind.

• A prince cutting his anus or bottom: Will fire his piper.

• An ordinary man cutting his bottom: Will no longer honour his obligations toward his parents and in-laws.

• Seeing the mother’s anus or buttocks: (1) A planned pilgrimage will not be valid.
(2) Earnings will fade and livelihood will grind to a halt.

• The anus of an unknown woman: The fading of the dreamer’s luck and livelihood.

• Penetrating the anus of a prelate: Will sweep dirt.

• A sick person dreaming of making a sacrifice: The dreamer will pass away or, on the contrary, will recover.

• Distributing sacrificial sheep meat: Worries will be over and the dreamer will be
honoured and dignified.

• Stealing sacrificial meat: The dreamer is lying to God.

The same interpretation is given if one sees feathers growing over his body. If poisonous weeds grow over one's body in a dream, they represent an illness or death. As grass is cattle's food and cattle represents people's wealth, then gathering and eating grass in a dream means prosperity. If an ascetic sees himself eating grass in a dream, it means that he will revert to desiring the world and its pleasures, and consequently, he will be deceived by it. Wild grass in a dream represent bad earnings and a miserable life. Consequently, he will be blamed for interfering or entering such a venture. If one sees himself hosting a dinner at his house, and the guests have finished eating in the dream, it means that he will preside over them. If a sick person sees such an invitation at his house in a dream, it means that he will recover from his illness. Serving food to guests in a dream means the returning home of a dear person from a long journey. If one sees himself sitting at a table covered with all types of food and fruits in a dream, it means that he will be called upon to serve his Lord and to win paradise. In a dream, a lobster represents a strong and a perfidious person who is untouchable, difficult to deal with and who is difficult to associate with, or who requires delicate handling. Eating lobster meat in a dream represents earnings from a distant land. Eating his meat also may mean earning unlawful money.
