In a dream, a leather finisher or a fabric dyer represents a false person, though he also could do good. A dyer in a dream also represents someone of good financial standing or one who is in position to help others, or he could be a man of knowledge, or a person in authority. Seeing a dyer dying a white garment into a green color in a dream means repentance from sins. If he changes the dye of a white garment into black, it means apostasy. If one sees a dyer in his house receiving or taking garments to dye in a dream, he represents an adulterer and means that someone in that house may die in that year.

A hornet in a dream represents a fighting enemy, a builder, an architect, a thief, a highway robber, a despicable person whose earnings are unlawful, a singer who sings in the wrong key, eating poisonous food, or disclosing something. A hornet in a dream also represents a slanderer, a troublemaker, a strong fighter, a strong enemy that will argue against the truth, or merciless people, a vile person, a blood thirsty person, a stinging personality, or a harmful connection. Fighting attacking hornets in a dream means a war with evil people.

Slaughter means:  (1) Repudiation of one’s parents.  (2) Injustice.

• Seeing a slain person without knowing who killed him: The dreamer has come out with a heresy or made a false testimony.

• Slaughtering one’s father, mother, or son: The dreamer will either repudiate or attack one of them.

• Slaughtering a woman: The dreamer will have sex with her.

• Slaughtering a female animal: The dreamer will make love to a woman and deflower a virgin.

• Slaughtering a male animal by attacking it from behind: The dreamer will sodomize such an animal.

• Slaughtering one’s father, mother, or son: The dreamer will either repudiate or attack one of them.

A black mouse and a white mouse in a dream represent the night and the day. Seeing a mouse of either black or white color going about its own business in the daylight in a dream means longevity. If one sees a mouse nibbling into one's garment in a dream, it means that one will announce his intentions or goals. A mouse digging a hole in a dream represents a thief. A mouse in a dream also could represents a girlfriend, an opportunistic woman, or a lady friend who is hiding her true intentions. Catching a mouse in a dream also means befriending a woman, or marriage. Mice in a dream also mean elation, or ecstasy unless they are of mixed colors.

• Teeth falling and picking them up with one’s hand or beard: The dreamer’s children will break with him; no more children will be born, and if ever one is born he will not stay to be brought up by the dreamer.

• All the teeth falling and disappearing from the dreamer’s sight:  (1) His family or his household will die before him. 
(2) People of his generation or of the same age will die.

• People chewing the dreamer’s flesh or biting him with their teeth: The dreamer should be modest, which he is not.

• Teeth breaking: The dreamer will settle his debts, little by little.

If a dairy cow allows the person to draw her milk in a dream, it means conferring benefits. Otherwise, if it refuses to allow the person to milk her in the dream, it means dissonance and discord. If a servant sees himself milking his master's cow in a dream, it means that he will marry his wife after the master dies, and that he will become extremely rich. If a cow enters one's house and thrusts against him, or butts against him in the dream, it means losses and mistrust in one's own family. If one sees himself hitting a cow with a wooden stick or biting a cow in a dream, the cow then represents his sins.

Wearing a white shirt in a dream means piety and religious assiduousness. Receiving a shirt as a gift in a dream means blessings and profits. Wearing a dirty and a torn shirt in a dream means poverty, distress and afflictions. If a woman sees herself wearing a new, large and comfortable blouse in a dream, it denotes her piety, religiousness, happiness and the enjoyment of a rich life in this world. The same could reflect the state of her husband. Wearing a green or a white shirt in a dream denotes piety. Wearing a blue shirt in a dream may not be praiseworthy. Wearing a red shirt in a dream means fame, while a yellow shirt in a dream means an illness.

A cow in a dream represents longevity. A black or a yellow cow represents happiness, prosperity and a good harvest. A white spot on a cow's face means firmness if seen in a dream at the early part of the year. The piebald cow or a cow blotched with white and black in a dream means the same, though the latter also represents firmness when seen in the middle of the year. A fat cow in a dream represents longevity and prosperity. A fat cow in a dream also may represent a pious woman. An emaciated cow in a dream represents drought. Drinking cow's milk or eating its meat or fat in a dream means prosperity and earning lawful income for that year. If the cow has horns, it represents a rebellious woman.

All types of raisins—black, red, and white—symbolize money and welfare.

Black grapes in a dream has little benefit in wakefulness and may represent money that does not last. White grapes in a dream represent recovering from an illness, for the prophet Noah (Alayhi-Salam) was once inflicted with tuberculosis and Allah Almighty inspired him in a dream to eat white grapes and by Allah's leave they brought about his recovery. Grapes hanging on a grapevine in a dream denote fear. Extracting the seeds and throwing away the pulp in a dream means an argument with one's wife that will end in regret. Seeing grapes in season in a dream could mean distress and out of season they mean a sickness. Seeing one's white hair turning black suggest that his present condition will be transformed.

A helmet made of iron in a dream represents a leader who defends people, or it could mean trust, status, rank, a wife, or might. Wearing a white helmet in a dream means honor and protection of one's property.

Eating a louse in a dream means backbiting someone. A colony of lice in a dream represent punishment. Lice in a dream also represent one's dependents or relatives who backbite, slander and divide the family. An invasion of lice in a dream means blessings, wealth, relief from difficulties, dispelling all worries and sorrows. Killing a louse in a dream means the same in wakefulness. If one wakes up from a dream in which lice were attacking him, it means that he will not escape from depression, difficulties or adversities. Picking up a louse from one's shirt or garment in a dream means hearing lies. If one becomes allergic to lice and starts itching in a dream, it means debts. If one sees himself blotched with white spots in a dream, it means that he will be struck with a painful illness.

Pinching someone in the butts in a dream means betraying him with his wife. Pinching someone in the belly in a dream means wishing to get some of his savings. Pinching someone in a dream means hurting him with words. Pinching or biting someone's hand in a dream may represent a snake bite, or a bite of a scorpion. Pinching someone's hand in a dream also means receiving unlawful money then incurring heavy losses, or it could mean paying a hefty fine.

Wearing white embroidered clothes means the attainment of the world as well as Deen. Also power and Fame.

The mouse symbolizes the dreamer’s household: those who dwell in his house—his wife and children, et cetera—a debauched woman, or, some say, a devilish Jewish woman or a Jew, as related by Al-Nabulsi. It could also refer to a thief. Many mice means profit and welfare. Mice of the same color allude to women. The rat is a digging thief.

• Dreaming of a mouse playing in one’s house: Prosperity will increase because, according to the ancient Arabs, mice invade only those places that are prosperous. And only people who are not hungry can afford to play.

• Seeing mice in one’s house: Dangerous women will enter that house.

• A mouse leaving one’s house: Livelihood and blessings will decrease.

• Owning a mouse: Will have a servant because, like servants, mice share the food of the master.

• White and black mice coming and going: Long life, as the white indicate the days and the black the nights. To borrow the expressions of Ibn

• Dreaming that one’s wife has no vagina: A matter will be stalled, and the dreamer will be helpless and humiliated.

• The vagina being cut: Bad omen, meaning perhaps that enemies will prevail.

• Biting the vagina of an unknown woman: Relief and joy.

• The vagina of an unidentified old woman: Relief in life.
Holding firm a woman’s vagina with one’s hand, which turns into a penis: Her morals will change. If it remains a penis, she will remain authoritarian, impudent, loud, and impossible to tame.

• Vaginal or pubic hair:  (1) Period is on the way.  (2) Poetic diatribe, a speciality of ancient Arab poets. It is noteworthy that in Arabic the words for hair and poem resemble each other. The former is shaar and the latter sheer.

The same interpretation of horses colours should apply to cows, which, as mentioned, refer to women or years.

• Seeing in one’s house a cow sucking the milk of her own calf: A woman is trading in her own daughter.

• A man slave milking his master’s cow: Will marry the latter’s daughter.

• Being scratched by a cow or a bull: Will be ill inasmuch as the scratch was severe.

• A cow or a bull raping the dreamer: Will experience hardships and punishment and might even get killed.

• Falling on a cow’s back: Luck will change during the year.

• An ox falling on the dreamer: Will die during that year.

• Having a dispute with a cow: Controversy with a hot-tempered and impolite woman.

• Being bitten or kicked by a cow: Children will betray their father.

• Beating a cow or an ox with a stick or biting either one: The dreamer has plenty of sins and should seek God’s forgiveness.
