Seeing “eating holy soil”
in your dream

This is a glad tiding that the one who eats this will be blessed with a long life and plentiful of wealth. And the head of a human being is regarded as better and more excellent.

The One who eats the meat will receive assets from some authority. The extent of such assets will depend on how much meat he eats. The same interpretation is given if a person sees himself taking possession of the skin, bone or any other portion of the elephant.

The one who eats the meat will receive riches from some authority or a powerful person.

The person doing so will acquire assets from his enemy.

He will acquire Islamic Knowledge.

He will receive haraam wealth.

If a person sees himself eating his own intestines, liver or kidneys or any other organ situated in or around the stomach it means he will have access to all his wealth which was not available to him hitherto. The same is the interpretation if – instead of eating them-he sees himself or another picking them up or carrying them.

If a person sees himself eating specific number of grapes (ie he counts them while eating them) it suggest that he will either be given the same number of lashes or the same number of pimples will appear on his body.

Acquiring the fruits of Jannah but not eating them or not having the ability to eat them means he will acquire deen but he will not profit from it . Sometimes a dream of this nature could also mean that he will acquire the knowledge of Deen which not benefit him in any way.

A person asked Ibn Sirin (RA): “What is your opinion regarding a person who had dreamed that he borke an egg and ate its white only and not its yolk?” The Imaam said: “Bring me the man who had seen the dream so that he personally relates to me his dream. I will answer him.” The man said. “No, do answer me: I will convey your interpretation to him”. The Imaam refused. He insisted several times and the Imaam refused the same number of times, finally he said under Oath: “My Lord, By Allah, it is I who had seen the dream”.

The Imaam said to the people around him: “Catch him and hand him over to the authorities for he digs up graves and steals the kafn from the dead!” he pleaded: “My Lord, I sincerely repent to Allah before you!” He pleaded: “My Lord, I sincerely repent to Allah before you! I promise never to commit this since again all my life!” Thus he was not handed over to the authorities, but was released.

If a person eats such a dove or owns it, it means he will have some business to do with a woman.

The one who eats them cooked, fried or boiled in his dream, will acquired riches and prosperity.

He will become prosperous.

If Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu-Alayhi-wasallam) is seen eating (something) it means he is urging his Ummah to discharge Za-kaah.

If someone sees himself digging the earth and eating the soil, it means he will acquire wealth by cheating and deceiving people.

• Eating one’s own flesh: Abundance and tremendous power are in store.

• Eating the flesh of a tortured person  (crucified, hung, et cetera): Will obtain money from a wanted individual. It could also mean redemption and/or vengeance.

• Eating the flesh of one’s enemy: Will triumph over him.

• Eating the flesh of a dead person: Will speak ill of the dead, in view of a verse in the Holy Quran that says: “O ye who believe! Shun much suspicion; for lo! some suspicion is a sin. And spy not, neither backbite one another. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? …”

Eating butter in a dream means enjoying one's earnings and using them for worthwhile projects, or it could mean profits from one's business. It is said that eating butter in a dream means visiting the holy land. Eating butter in a dream also represents good harvest, plenitude, prosperity, good deeds, or the ease with which one handles his daily work. (Also see Cream; Ghee)

Dates symbolize the reading of the Holy Quran, good religious faith, rain, general and honest welfare, and savings.

• Eating high-quality dates: Will hear something good and useful.

• Buying dates: Will save money or receive money from some safe or treasury.

• Opening a date and removing its pit: Will have a child, in view of a verse in the Holy Quran: “Lo! Allah 
(it is) Who splitteth the grain of corn and the date-stone  (for sprouting). He bringeth forth the living from the dead, and is The bringer-forth of the dead from the living. Such is Allah. How then are ye perverted?” 
(“Al-Anam” [Cattle], verse 95.)

• Eating dates with tar: Will divorce secretly.

Seeing oneself in Egypt in a dream means longevity and a comfortable living. Seeing oneself in a farmland in a dream means pursuing innovation. Seeing oneself in a bower in a dream signifies the coming of a prosperous year. Seeing oneself in Jerusalem or at the feet of Mount Sinai in a dream also means prosperity. Seeing oneself in Bethlehem in a dream means increased religious devotion. Seeing oneself in Damascus in a dream means blessings, prosperity and wealth, or it could mean corruption. A cold city in a dream represents adversities. Seeing oneself in a shore city in a dream means winning people's acceptance. Standing on a sulfuric soil or a salinized soil in a dream means an illness.
