Seeing “male friendship”
in your dream

The panther symbolizes a double-cross, a perfidious but foolish man or perhaps, an oppressor, a hunter, hunting equipment, and traps, or a shaky and unstable individual who shows neither hostility nor friendship. It could also refer to someone whose breath stinks.

• Stealing the knife of an educator: The dreamer has a burning passion for one of his sons.

• Swallowing a knife: The dreamer will eat up part of the money of his son.

• A man whose wife is pregnant dreaming of having a knife: She will safely deliver a child, whether male or female depending on other signs in the dream. And so is the case with a spear.

• Being given a knife as a sole weapon: Will have a male child or find a brother or will enjoy welfare.

• A person on trial dreaming of wielding a knife: Will triumph as his evidence will
prevail.

• Slaughtering with a knife: Will eat a slaughtered bird or animal.

• Lacerating one’s hands with a knife: Will see something spectacular.

• Holding a knife: Will obtain two hundred monetary units. If poor, only twenty-five.

(Bookbinding) A bookbinder in a dream represents an undertaker, or a tailor. In a dream, bookbinding also may mean concealing secrets and guarding one's friendship, or it could mean affection one reserves for a dear person.

Animal talk in a dream denotes leaning toward friendships and finding peace in the company of pious people, or it could mean working to earn one's livelihood. If a wall speaks to someone in a dream, it means a warning of separation, or it could mean renouncing the city and seeking to live in the wilderness, near uninhabited ruins, or near a graveyard. Hearing a voice commanding one to do something in a dream means glad tidings. Hearing Allah Almighty on the Day of Judgement in a dream means rising in station, performing good deeds and nearness to one's Lord. Listening to the Holy Words of Allah Almighty in a dream also denotes the spread of justice and righteousness, and such a dream could represent a ruler who cares for his subjects. If a allahly and a pious person sees that in a dream, it means that he will renounce the world and seek the comfort and the blessings of the hereafter. His wife is pregnant with a male issue in her stomach.

Receiving a gift in a dream is a sign of happiness, joy, love and friendship. A gift in a dream also means reconciliation between adversaries, promoting unity, or it could mean betrothal of one's daughter to a good man. (Also see Donation; Endowment)

He will receive his livelihood from halaal sources and be blessed with two male offsprings.

It represents an evil and wicked woman whether the mouse is a male or female.

A brick falling from a wall means a male or female member of his family will either get lost or run away or pass away.

On the other hand, falling into the hand of a bad company, or into a beast's den, etcetera, means evil consequences, or it could mean stinginess. If one sees himself falling down from the roof of his house, and if he breaks an arm or a leg in the dream, then it reflects a psychological distress, adverse financial conditions, breaking of a friendship or it may mean suffering from persecution by the local authorities.

• Finding the sword too heavy and dragging it on the ground: Influence will wane.

• The supports of the sword breaking or being cut: Will be deposed or isolated.

• Giving or taking the blade of a sword from one’s wife: She will give birth to a male child.

• The wife giving her husband a sword in its sheath: She will deliver a boy.

• Handing one’s wife a sword in its sheath: She will give birth to a girl.

• Being girded with four swords, One made of iron, one made of brass or bronze, one made of lead, and one made of wood: Will have four male children. The iron symbolizes a courageous boy, the bronze a lucky boy who will become rich, the lead an effeminate boy, and the wood a hypocrite.

• A man whose wife is pregnant dreaming of holding a sword made of glass: Will have a child who will not live.

Occupying a hermitage or building one in a dream means rising in station. A beautiful and a newly built hermitage in the dream represents a wife. A hermitage in a dream also could mean migration, bewilderment, severing a friendship, hiding, power, or it could represent one's son. Hatred is a bad dream, because it is the reverse of love and peace, which are blessings from God, and the reverse of blessings is hard ships. The reasoning is based on a verse in the Holy Quran: “… and remember Allah’s
favour unto you: how you were enemies and He made friendship between your hearts so that ye became as brothers by His grace” 
(“Al-Imran” [The family of Imran], verse 103.)

• Organizing a funeral: Will look after a marriage ceremony.

• Praying in a funeral service: Will befriend people for the sake of friendship and thus earn God’s blessings.

• Walking in a funeral procession:  (1) Will follow a powerful but corrupt person. 
(2) Will see off a traveller.  (3) The dreamer is seeking some benefit or his personal comfort, as indicated by the name or function of the dead person, or is seeking a reward from God.

A male sparrow symbolises an obese and dangerous person. A female symbolises a cursed woman.

If a female, it represents an evil and ugly woman. If a male, it represents a disgraceful, cursed and contemptuous enemy.

(Friendship) If a sick person sees himself walking on the road along with a friend or travelling with him in a dream, it means that he will recover from his illness. Accompanying an unknown person on the road in a dream means suffering losses. Walking in the company of a relative in a dream has a negative connotation.

If a person sees himself as hunting a wild animal it means he will acquire wealth and booty-whether the hunted animal is a male for female.

A bisexual man seeing only his male genitals:  (1) Will repent and become exclusively heterosexual. 
(2) Will divorce his wife or abandon his mother and some in-laws.

(Breed; Farm; Raise) If one sees himself driving a male animal to copulate with a female animal in a dream, it means a good harvest for that year. (Also see Driver)
