Seeing “helping old”
in your dream

Sometimes, the ears of corn allude to years, months, or days. Joseph regarded them as years. Likewise, they refer to the wealth of this world.

• Planting corn: Will do something that will please God.

• Endeavouring to or helping plant corn: A reference to Jihad  (struggle in the way of Allah).

• Planting corn that gives barley: The dreamer’s appearance is better than his hidden self. And vice versa.

• Planting corn that gives blood: The subject is making a living from usury.

• Ears of corn gathered in a person’s hand or in a container: Will obtain money earned by somebody else or acquire learning.

• Picking scattered spikes from the harvest of someone whom the dreamer knows: Will obtain scattered sums of money from that person. A harvest in the wrong season would mean that death will occur or war will erupt on that spot.

A good rain in a dream also means prosperity, happiness, refilling wells with rainwater, the gushing forth of springs with sweet, fresh and pure waters. Rain in a dream also means reviving an old and a stagnant matter, or it could mean benefits, profits, blessings, relief from distress, payment of debts, or feeling relief. In a dream, a good rain means blessings, a good harvest and profits for a farmer. If the skies rain honey, butter, oil, or food people like in the dream, it means blessings for everyone. Rain in a dream also represent mercy from Allah Almighty, a helping hand, knowledge, wisdom, the Quran, rejuvenation, revival, resurrection and life. If one sees himself standing under a cover, a roof, or behind a wall to take shelter from a rainfall in a dream, it means that he may suffer because of someone slandering him.

• A golden ring:  (1) If a ruler, the dreamer will turn heretic, lose his religious faith, betray his people, and become a tyrant. 
(2) A reference to a woman who has lost her fortune.

• An iron ring:  (1) A courageous leader.  (2) A tradesman with foresight but bad memory. 
(3) A ring made of lead: Power melted through weakness.
A ring with two stones: Overt and covert influence, financial benefits, and/or success in helping religious-minded and worldly individuals and healing people.

• Rings made of horns or ivory: Good augury for women.

• A wooden ring:  (1) A hypocritical woman.  (2) Prosperity or power obtained through hypocrisy.

• Being given or offered a ring or buying one: The dreamer will wield tremendous power or become a king, if eligible because, says Ibn
Siren, the majesty of King Solomon was derived from his ring.

• A woman being given a ring: She will get married or have a child.
