Bier Dream Explanation — o Being lifted, placed on a bier, and borne on men's shoulders: Promotion, power, influence, and tyranny. Will ride on people's necks and have as many followers as were seen carrying the dreamer in the dream.
o Seeing oneself on a bier without anybody carrying it: Will go to jail.
o A ruler, a chief, a merchant, or a manufacturer seeing himself on a bier rolling or gliding on the soil: Will board a ship.
o Carrying a bier: (1) If eligible, will govern a province as prominent as the people marching in the funeral procession. (2) Illicit gains. (3) Will intercede in favour of a religiously corrupt person.
o A bier flying and people holding to it: (1) A chief or a scholar will die without anybody knowing about it. Death Dream Explanation — Death symbolizes the loss of religious faith and divorce as well as poverty, most probably on the spiritual plane. It also means regret and repentance for a great sin. Likewise, it alludes to imminent marriage, because the bridegroom or the married person, like the dead, enjoys special care, such as washing, incense, et cetera.
o Seeing one's corpse carried on a bier or in a coffin amid tears and sobbing after all mortuary rituals have been accomplished: Weakening faith and debauchery along with dignity and power in this world. If, furthermore, the body had been buried, it would mean that the dreamer will be completely immersed in worldly matters and lost spiritually and will die without repentance. Finger Dream Explanation — (Also see Dye.) Fingers are the brother's children, since it is believed that the hand represents the brother. Those of the right hand refer to the Muslims five compulsory daily prayers. The left hand fingers are the children of the brother or sister. The thumb is the dawn prayer, the index finger the noon prayer, the middle finger the early afternoon prayer, the ring finger, the sunset prayer, and the little finger the evening prayer.
o Having long fingers: The dreamer observes his religious duties, especially prayer. The reverse is also true.
o The imam (the Muslims spiritual leader) having long fingers: He is too greedy, tyrannical, and unfair to his subjects.
o A finger falling: Will abandon the related prayer.
